Stoped by late on a Saturday night and was able to get service quickly at the bar, but after was way slower once seated. There was a country band playing that night and they were good. It was a little too loud to talk while the band was playing but we didn't mind since it was only a handful of songs! Fun place to check out and say you've been to!

We had to come in this spot to check it out! My fiancé watches and listens to all the barstool shows/podcasts so we had to pop in to check it out. The Italian Beef egg rolls are a MIST TRY! We needed up coming back for the Ohio State and Michigan game and MAN that place had some energy. It was nice to go to an actual sports bar with sports fans while watching the game.

After dropping my son and his girlfriend off at the House of Blues for a show this weekend I needed a spot to eat dinner and have a couple brews. Barstool was the perfect choice after randomly coming across it. I was able to enjoy sports as I ate wings and have a couple drafts at the bar. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I ordered the wings with hot sauce on the side along with ranch, carrots, and celery. The wings were very big but tended to be overly chewy and sinewy. The sauce was good and of course the beers were cold and delicious. Definitely an awesome spot for watching a game but I would try something else off the menu next time.

Went here to watch the March Madness championship with some friends from out of town. It's a great environment to watch sports with lots of TVs. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be for a championship game, probably because they're not open Mondays, but made an exception for the game. Since my friend's were visiting from DC, I made sure we ordered the Italian Beef Egg Rolls, to give them a little taste of Chicago. They were delicious and I would come back just for those! It's definitely a cool experience being here for a huge game. Our service was a little slow but we still had a good time and enjoyed our night!

Location is prime in River North. Lots of big TV's and sound system. We were able to grab a few Happy Hour drinks before heading to our ultimate destination. Tried this spot because I love the founder's reviews on pizza. I would come back and grab some beer or wine. We did find that the HH drinks were weak.

Absolutely packed after Da Bears Game!

For game day fun outstanding!! We went to the Nashville location a few days before for a Phillies playoff game and had the same experience! #lovebarstool They DO HAVE a full menu with great food and we had awesome service both times we came here (we came on a Friday night for a Phillies game also but it was dead like 10 people). Would highly recommend for Saturday or Sunday game day but it's small and gets packed!!

What can you say??? The servers are on point. The atmosphere is definitely a sports bar. If the professional games are not on the college games are playing

We all ordered some drinks to start and I went with their twist on an aperol sprtiz (I don't remember the name.....) but its one of their specials that has aperol! And it was delish!!!! After that we got a bunch of bites to eat including some of the happy hour bites. We got the board which had a bunch of different dips of which each was great but have to admit the pimento cheese was my fave! Of course we had to get the parmesan fries and we decided to share the mac and cheese as well. Delicious bites! Our waitress was super great and checked in on us so we ordered a second drink an espresso martini! It was good, not the best I had so stick to the other drinks on the menu! Overall lovely place to stop in for a happy hour. Lots of TVs if you want to catch the game and they open the windows during nice weather. 10/10 if you are in the area!

Excellent bar. It's about time a good hoosiers bar opens up on this street. Great location,…read moreambiance, music, service, and drinks. There is an upstairs area that's a little more loungier whereas the downstairs can get more rowdy on game day. We came during the championship game, and this was the perfect spot to be. We came early to be able to snag some bar seats upstairs and enjoy multiple drinks and food. Drinks are great - some cocktails and beers are only offered downstairs. Food was a mix: Chimichurri cauliflower: smaller portion than I expected, nothing special I'd skip this dish. Ceasar salad: dressing is very heavy on the anchovy paste, otherwise good portion and veggies. Loaded fries: huge portion with lots of great toppings, though I wish their fries were more 'fry' like versus potato skin-like. Chicken tenders: I got this with sweet potato fries, and they were way too salty. The chicken tenders were 4 skimpy pieces of chicken, and I was charged for extra dipping sauces and ketchup. The spicy mango habanero and buffalo are good - skip the garlic parmesan. I will most definitely be back for the vibes, drinks, and service. I'm hoping the food is just working on some kinks and will get better the next time!

Every seat in the house has a good view of a widescreen TV with the game on. The bar has a cozy, casual vibe. On game day it's very loud; if you plan to chat with your group you'll be shouting to be heard! I highly recommend the chicken Caesar wrap. I had low expectations since this is a sports bar but this is probably the best chicken Caesar wrap I've had in my life. In light of how good this meal was I plan to return soon and try the rest of the menu. I also had a cocktail that was tasty and cheaper than some of the drinks on offer from nearby bars ($13).

There were a lot of TVs all around the bar, so you won't be tilting your head back to watch the game from any angle. Our server was new, but she did a great job with taking everyone's orders and also being very upfront about saying she will ask about the drafts on tap so she can give us an accurate drink selection. The food from Theory never disappoints. Last year, I had the Theory Burger and was delighted by how good it was. This year, I tried the Challah French Toast and it was pleasantly delicious. The Mac and Cheese was also a solid choice, and for $8, they provided a good amount of food! And that Chicken Parm Egg Roll...wow they were so good!! I was skeptical from the name, but this was like having a pizza roll but in egg roll form The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because Theory has severely up charged for the Champions League. I recall last year a reservation was $5/person, but this year they charged $15/person. For this reason, we came in at 9AM opening time for an 8-person table and were able to get one without having to pay the reservation fee. I really like how organized Theory is though, as a sports bar. Service has always been great and I may come again for another game!

If you've been to the old spot I'm talking about, you'll notice immediately that The Scout still has the beautiful, soaring ceilings, but they've also remodeled a chunk of the restaurant, which is great! We sat down pretty immediately at a table in the back of the restaurant - not too far from the (new) DJ booth, and our waitress was extremely kind and gave us prompt service. We were just hanging out, listening to the music, when the NFL Divisional playoff game that was on tonight came back on, and let me tell you, it was the loudest game audio I have ever heard in a bar, ever. I've been going to sports bars for most of my adult life, and I get that folks can get excited and loud and that's not what I'm talking about. The audio of just the announcers and players from the telecast were almost exceeding 100 dBA, slow, without the bar cheering. I've been an audio engineer for over 20 years, and that isn't too far off from the base level of what you'll experience at concerts at the United Center (102-110 dBA, slow). We asked twice if the zone that encompassed our area of the restaurant could be turned down - but nothing changed, so we took our food to go and left. It wasn't just "can't have a conversation" loud, it was "I can't think" loud. This place needs to do some system tuning (the example I'll give - if you go to a Yard House the environment is loud and lively but you can still hold a conversation at your table because the audio system is extremely well tuned). The food that we ate when we got home (Kids mac n cheese and buffalo wings) were exceptional, so that's why I'm not leaving a single star. I don't know if we'll be back, I was incredibly disappointed tonight.
