Great downtown dive bar! I have a strong affinity for dive bars and this one did not disappoint. I'm only upset that it took me this many years to find this place. With a huge selection of beers, ciders and seltzers including a large selection of imports in a cooler with 4 different doors for access. The uniqueness of this bar is that you grab what you like, DO NOT OPEN IT and bring to the bar. The tender will open it and charge you. Don't grab that credit card because they only take cold, hard, cash! The Cubs game was playing on the tubes and it was busy with a fun crowd and standing room only. Walking in made me reminiscent of my college days with the smell and feel of many patrons drinking on a warm summer's day. Not off-putting, just a noticeable "feel."

Epic dive bar!!! Bring cash and select your beverage from the fridge. So fun and chill. If you lucky you can get your songs played on the jukebox too!

I've been back to Rossi's a few times in the past months while going to concerts in Chicago, and maybe as I've gotten older being ignored at the bar for 20 minutes has gotten old. I used to love coming here with friends when I lived in Chicago, and the atmosphere is still lively, dive-ly. I'm a fan of their craft and European beer cans selection in the coolers- take the can to the bar and do not open it- but the wait to be noticed will be long, it's not even worth it. Just get a High Life or Lite for faster service. Still would go back with a group of friends, Rossi's is at least a breath of fresh air in River North.

Went to Chicago on a guy's trip and went to Rossi's based on a Google search. This is such a great bar and has an incredible vibe. We spent hours here and had a great time with our bartender, Cynthia.

So this is not a liquor store, it is a small bar with many beer choices. Do kit open needs from the cooler, take them to the bar. Super tiny; super fun. I loved the 80yr old woman running the bar.

Perfect dive vibes. We've been for evening cocktails and an early morning post-late night bloody. Incredible bartenders and the most chill space, it's small and cash only so be cool about it.

Just a classic no-nonsense bar. Bring cash as they don't a accept plastic. With everything around it changing and developing, Rossi's is a throwback. I love the beer cooler in the back, a solid offering and selection of beers. Pick what you want and bring it to the bar for it to be opened. Just a classic spot

Amazing. What a hidden gem! Frank quality service. Murph is yer man, lots of famous people hear. Grab a pizza and a great pint. Music jamming. Not shure about dogs...didn't sea any.

Love the ornery old bird. If you close the place out, she might make you drink the Malort. Have one but avoid more if you can.

After leaving the symphony, we wanted somewhere nearby to grab a meal and have a good conversation, so we ended up at Miller's Pub at 134 S. Wabash. My colleague had made a reservation, but honestly, it didn't seem necessary, you can easily walk in. Miller's Pub is a longtime Chicago staple, and we were seated quickly. The space is much larger than it appears, with a classic Irish pub feel and an antique charm that gives it a lot of character. Our server was enthusiastic, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the night, which we appreciated. Food-wise, we ordered a variety of dishes. I kept it simple with a salad topped with carrots and chicken, it was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. One of my colleagues ordered a chicken sandwich, and another got what might have been the most massive fish tender I've ever seen. If I ate fish, I definitely would've tried it, and she said it was really good. Unfortunately, what really impacted our experience was the atmosphere. There was a choir conference happening nearby, and a large group of attendees came into the pub and started singing, loudly and continuously, throughout the evening. While it was entertaining for the first couple of songs, it quickly became overwhelming and disruptive. It didn't seem like other patrons were enjoying it either, there was little to no engagement or applause, and I found myself wishing the staff had stepped in to tone things down a bit. I understand that a bar environment can bring in all kinds of energy, but this went on far too long and really took away from the experience we were hoping to have. Based on the food alone, I'd give Miller's Pub 3 out of 5 stars. But factoring in the overall experience, it's closer to a 2.5 out of 5 for me.

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit. Definitely a cut above the usual sports bar and a place to expand one's knowledge of brews.

Whiskey fans, you'll love the huge selection along with the impressive beer selection. Yelp should really hype this as a whiskey bar, too. It more than qualifies. The cuisine is phenomenal. Pro Tip: if you can tolerate a large quantity of fish, visit on a Wednesday for their AYCE Fish & Chips. I've had many hum drum AYCE dinners that are drab and only fill you up. Not this one. It's a great meal and a great deal. The Shepherd's Pie was fabulous, as was the Bangers and Mash. They've created a Haggis Burger that has to appease Americans, yet, still be haggis. A tall order since most would hate "true" haggis. Fear not, it's not your grandfather's haggis, it is a tasty burger. The fries were great but I'd recommend the Tattie Skins. We tasted so many different malts it was hard to pick a favourite. No foolin' they had island malts, highland malts, speyside and even a couple from the lowlands. Easy to spend over two hours in this public house. We did. Can't wait to get back to this town. This is a must! 02/26
