Was there for the Post Malone/Jelly Roll concert. The owner closed all the bars in the facility with over an hour left in the concert...they stopped serving 30 minutes before the vendors inside Wrigley Field stopped serving. After closing the bars the owner continued to serve his guests, but not anyone who actually bought a ticket!?! The owner seemed more intoxicated than any of the patrons and did not seem to mind that he was ripping off his customers....the bartenders were all very nice, and were sympathetic to what happened but it was out of their control. Until this place gets new ownership l, I would avoid at all costs. read more

This was well worth the money. Wriggled is the worst stadium I've ever been to, so this is the best option. Not only do you have your own bathroom (that isn't 20 minutes of walking) but your ticket comes with beer, wine and food! This is the way to go when going to Chicago to watch a cubs game. I visited this rooftop with a friend's bachelorette party to see Billy Joel a few weeks ago, and let me say that unlimited food, drinks, and desserts at Wrigley is the only way to go. I've been to so many concerts at Wrigley, and never have I been so satisfied. The *only* down side of this rooftop is that during a concert, the field is flipped around, so you really can't see anything. But... and no offense... I don't really mind that I couldn't really see for the Billy Joel concert. I think since this was a bachelorette party setting, I was more concerned about drinking at Wrigley. 0:) Therefore, I really enjoyed myself! I ate a brat and grabbed some pasta salad and a beer on the first floor right when I arrived, then headed up to the rooftop. There was plenty of space to either stand or sit, and a few long standing tables ran through the patio as well, so we could enjoy ourselves and put our drinks down and dance while watching the show. Throughout the night, I grabbed several other drinks, along with an ice cream bar and some chips. This really is snack and drink heaven! If you're going to Wrigley for a concert or game, I'd highly recommend looking into this rooftop before buying a regular ticket! read more

I purchased tickets for the Parker McCollum, Hardy, and Morgan Wallen concert on 6/22. They advertised all 3 artists on their site as "the concert". The terms and conditions stated that entry would not be allowed until 45 minutes prior to the concert start time. I called Wrigley box office and they told me that concert start time is 5:30pm. So I was expecting to be able to get into the rooftop at 4:45pm. I never received any information about the event or entrance from the company so I reached out 3 days prior to the event only to find out that they will not be opening their doors until 7:30pm (2 hours after the concert started). They were considering the concert to be only the headliner. It is total false advertisement and a breach of contract. I tried to resolve with the company and the contacts I spoke with were very rude and not accommodating. I would avoid this rooftop at all costs. Yea they may be $20 cheaper than the actual Wrigley rooftops but they will rip you off and not allow you to see half a concert. I have contacted a lawyer and they have advised me that this is illegal and a breach of contact. I will be taking legal action and filing complaints with the Illinois AG and the Chicago consumer protection. If you have tickets to this event in a couple days or any other Wrigley concerts be advised!! read more

The view was good. It wasn't amazing but the only obstruction was deep left and center. I was there for home game one of the nlcs. We had Italian beef pulled pork and nachos. They let us get multiple drinks at a time. They had two men's bathrooms closed which did seem like a joke but other then that it was good read more

Just wasn't a great day. The sign out front said the doors open 60 minutes before game time, the doorman said 30 but will do 45. They don't offer beer until 30 minutes before the game starts. When they did start, they were way under staffed. It was 10 minutes to get a beer. Then you could only get one at a time. Who only gets one ounce beer at a time? We then found out one reason is that they oversold the day. I also checked in on yelp. When you do, you get a free ballcap. It was easier to get a beer then to use the yelp coupon. The bartender upstairs said go downstairs, I asked the doorman, he said go find a manager. Manager no where to be found. This was my 2nd rooftop. I probably wont do it again. Pros: Food was awesome. DISCLAIMER: I won free tickets so how could I really complain about anything. We went to a night game and showed up about an half hour before the game started. Pretty much got our drink on right off the bat despite our state of starvation. They had a decent selection of beer & wine. After lounging around the bar area for a bit, we decided to head up to the rooftop to check out the view. It was in foul territory but still a great view. It only got better as the night set it. Night baseball is so much better than day ball. I'm not much of a baseball fan either way so take that as you want. Just like the drink options, there was plenty of food to choose from as well. They had hot dogs, polishes, burgers, chicken, salad, pasta, potato salad & chips. And in case you didn't know...it was all you can eat & drink! WINNER!!! We had plenty to drink & plenty to eat and (unfortunately, since the Cubs are not doing too well this year) it was not crowded at all. The 14-2 slaughter of the Pirates just added to the enjoyment of the experience. It was my first rooftop experience and likely won't be my last. We were here for the NLDS Cubs/Cards playoff game, so perhaps the following is a unique tale for this prolifically-Grouponing Wrigley rooftop. They OVERSOLD the number of tickets, leaving 30-40 people stuck at the 3rd floor bar either watching the game with a 30 second delay leaving no mysteries for us lowly TV watchers, or prairie dogging on the balcony trying to catch a glimpse of 2nd base. All this while queuing a third of the time to get a beer from the lone, frazzled bartender. Bless her forgetful heart. Not at all worth it if you're one of these unfortunate folks, as we were. The food was fine. Standard beer selection, half of which were sold out (freed out?) by the end of the 7th inning. But the drinking continued until well after the game. This is the best rooftop in Wrigleyville. It is on the left field side of the diamond and is not obstructed by any of the scoreboards. The food is great with a variety of options. One of the best rooftops I've been too. They had great food and a great view. It does get packed fast, so be sure to arrive early. The food was catered from Buona Beef which was good. They also had burgers, Italian sausage, hot dogs, and chicken. The alcohol is beer, wine, and sangria. I would def come back here. Great experience and great service. Also be sure to check in before you get in so you can get your free hat. Comes in handy if you forgot your hat on a sunny day at the rooftop!! read more

I purchased tickets for Wrigley View Rooftop through a Travelzoo deal and went over 4th of July weekend. I was super impressed by the venue, view, staff, and food/drinks provided! Despite the fact that this was the farthest rooftop space on the left field side of the stadium, the view from all levels was great! You can see almost the entire field, except for deep left field (which would be the same for any rooftop on this side of the stadium). Clear views of home plate and the electronic score board inside the park. A little difficult to hear the announcer at times. Wrigley View has 3 distinct viewing areas - the inside Clubhouse has a "full bar" (the most beer and wine options), air conditioning, and a small standing-only balcony for viewing the game. The next levels offered a smaller bar, stadium seating for viewing the game, and food area. The top level had bar stools and an open area for sitting or standing and viewing the game. Some outside shaded areas would have been a nice addition. Food and drinks were pretty good, definitely better than I expected for an all-inclusive option. All the food we tried among the four of us was pretty solid (grilled chicken skewers, hot dog, brat, burger, pulled pork, chips and salsa, salad, potato salad, stuffed mushrooms, mini sandwiches, fruit kebobs). It would have been nice to have a veggie option other than salad. They only offer 3 beers on tap, but others in bottles. The place was not packed when we went, so we had plenty of room to stretch out. It was nice to sit for a while then stand up and move around. No lines for drinks or food. Bathrooms were on each level and were very clean and well stocked. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Would definitely return! read more

It's not called Wrigley VIEW for nothin!! I've been to a couple of the Wrigley rooftops and 1050 W. Waveland is by far the best view of them all! My favorite part is being able to see all the moves at home plate plus the scoreboard! There's even a skydeck on top with a flat screen .. perfect for a private party. Had a great time here with my sister for a Sunday game. The food was yummy and included cheeseburgers, chili dogs, brats, chicken, chips, pasta salad, veggies, chips, etc. Even the head caterer came up to us to make sure everything was good. The drinks were plentiful (bud light, colors light, Michelob ultra, wine, mikes, etc). Bartenders and other workers were very friendly. We snagged two seats on the upper deck which had a nice view of the field. Pleasantly surprised by the viewing experience from the rooftop. As a die-hard baseball fan, I'd always rather sit as close to home plate as possible, but the view from the roof is great. I mean what a scam. We pay $100 for unlimited food and drink. The game starts and there's a rain delay early on in the 3rd inning. What happens? They close up shop on all food, finish up the drinks (they actually threw some of the food away) and apparently we're done for the night. $100 for three innings of food and then no sympathy or explanation when the rain delay is over and everyone continues watching the game empty handed. I didn't pay $100 to sit through the last 5 innings of the game with none of my "unlimited food and beverage". U are at an angle and cant see the screens or the performers when they r on the actual stage...only when they come to the extended stage into the crowd. The place is also oversold for the space they have during a concert. I am a HUGE fan of rooftop seats for Cubs games - but this one? It needs to be renamed "Distant Wrigley View Rooftop." You can only really get a view of the whole field if you are at the very far left of the seats. My group got our ticket deal with a Groupon and, while we made sure it was worth it in terms of the beer we drank, the price we paid wasn't worth the location. Or the food. Maybe instead of trying to offer a variety of cold food, they could focus on just brats/hot dogs and keep them warm? I'll be going back to the rooftops, just not this one. read more

I have previously gone to this rooftop 2 years ago (summer of 2012) and had a great experience. I have now gone twice this season and it was TERRIBLE! Both games I went to, they ran out of food, condiments, sides, etc. For the amount of money being paid, I should be able to stuff my face until the game is over if that's what I choose to do, but that option has been taken away from me now. Additionally, the first game I went to this season was on a rain delay and we were all crammed inside the bar area to stay dry. The problem with that however was the food was still up 2 flights of outdoor stairs, so in order to get any food we got absolutely soaked to get it. They could have brought the food downstairs and into the bar (like they had done at a previous game I attended) so that the patrons could stay dry while getting their food. Sidenote though, and the only reason I gave this place 2 stars still, the bartenders there are all SUPER nice! 5 stars for them! read more

Great views of Wrigley Field. Great stadium style seating with plenty of leg and passing room, 6 seats per row. Clean bathrooms on every level. The food was amazing and delicious. Every one of the service staff was stellar, and went out of their way to provide the very best service possible. The only drawback to the whole experience was not being able to hear the stadium announcer from the bleacher seats, but they did have speakers running the televised announcer in all of the food service areas. Arrive as soon as they open to secure a bleacher seat on the top deck. We got discounted tickets through Travelzoo, so it was a real value considering the frrd and drinks are included. DO NOT GET THIS FOR 2015 PLAYOFFS! OVERSOLD by 40-50 people. Even if you get there early and don't have to stand on the stairs, people on the stairs makes going up for food or down for beer a time consuming adventure. Sure, the owners made an extra $10,000 (50 extra people at $239 each on groupon) who cares about the customers who 1) didn't have seats 2) waited in line for every beer (you only get 1 at a time), 3) enjoyed the "unlimited food" "thoughout the entire game" - at least until the 6th or 7th inning when they ran out of food (I don't know exactly when, I was in line for the bathroom at the time) or 4) enjoyed the inconsiderate drunk suburban 20 somethings who blocked the stairs/aisle/walkway so they could see the game, then called you names (I actually saw a fight almost happen) if you want to get by to get a beer. I don't know why the "maximum occupancy" signs were put up by the Fire Department, there had to be at least twice as many people as recommended on the top 2 levels. Second round is being sold by them for $379 a game which is reallly a waste of your money. Plusses: you can see almost all the field except for part of left field. Cold canned beer (no microbrews or crafts). Frozen reheated pretzel does come with cheese. read more

My husband and I are avid Cubs fans and have always dreamt of siting on the rooftops. We bought tickets for our 10th wedding anniversary hoping to have a memorable experience. I was very disappointed in the facility. I realize its still early in the season but if you own and run a business you should be prepared to serve your guests no matter when in the season they are there. I was told there were 200 people reserved for the day yet there is only seating for 88 (this was the number listed on the fire marshall's occupancy sign) on the rooftop. There were people sitting on the stairs that you had to step over (huge safety hazard) and standing at the front blocking others view of the game. There was one bartender on the upper level which was probably ok since they only had 3 different beers and 2 wine selections and didn't ever have a line waiting. At the downstairs bar there were more choices but was constantly packed and it took 10 minutes to get a drink with only 1 bartender working there as well. They only allow one drink per person at the bar so don't expect to be able to bring one back for a friend. The food was less than par. The chicken tasted like it was boiled. The menu listed steak sandwiches which we were told they did not have. They ran out of hot dogs before the third inning. There was suppose to be cookies, brownies and other desserts but we never saw them or anyone eating them. We asked and were told there was a tray put out in the second inning. The best food was actually the appetizers. the chips and salsa were very good. The view is on the foul ball side of left field and has a great view of Wrigley's upper deck. We plan on sitting in the rooftops again but will choose a different one. At least the rooftops next door grilled their food and walked a basket of cookie and brownies around to their guests. read more

Location is great! The rooftop and inside are in great condition. I was surprised at how clean the restroom was. Usually during sporting events the restrooms can be yuck. The staff was very friendly, the bartender was patience, and enthused. The food was really good and fresh. Give the griller a pat on the back because the steak was tender and seasoned to amazement. This is an awesome place!! All you can eat, all you can drink, they start serving 45 minutes before the game starts. Lots of food options: sandwiches and chips, to burgers and brats, to pasta salad and green salad etc! Decent variety of beer and wine to choose from as well from the 3 bars. Polite and friendly staff. Inside and outside seating options. Flatscreens broadcasting the game inside, and they were also showing other big sports games/events (NBA, golf) for us to enjoy. I have been to several Cubs rooftops over the years and I have to say Wrigley View Rooftop is top knotch! View: Amazing! It's just like you see on their website. Service: Outstanding! I have never met a friendlier staff. Dave, the manager, is always welcoming. Veronica, the bartender, is always ready with a cold brew or glass of wine. Impressed how she always remembers your favorite. Even the barbacks that run around from level to level are always smiling and accommodating. Food: Delicious! Didn't expect to have healthy food like fresh green beans and fresh asparagus on a rooftop, but Steve's Deli serves these items along with all the ballpark favorites like hot dogs, brats, chicken sandwiches. Love their brownies and rice krispie bars, too! Crowd: I have had the pleasure of meeting actor Joel Murray (Bill's younger brother) on the rooftop a few Fridays ago. Such a nice guy. I have seen comedian Kevin Farley, radio hosts Amy Jacobson, John Howell and Eddie Volkman there, too. I heard former Cubs and Sox pitcher, Steve Trout was there too. Pretty cool. I wanted to try a new venue to take my friend for his birthday. The staff was very nice and helpful. The place was clean and remodeled very well. There was a lot of negatives to this venue. The food was cold and tasted horrible. All the meats tasted like they were sitting in a pool of fat. They ran out of appetizers before we could get any and we got there an hour before the game started. The only appetizer that was left was a small piece of mac and cheese which was disappointing. They did not have any local beers on tap unless you consider miller as a local establishment. Definitely not enough seats for the amount of people there. Because of all the things that happened above, we left in the 5th inning. If you are choosing between the different venues at Wrigley, I would stay away from this location because the amount of money you spend would be better utilized getting a seat in the bloody nose section at the cubs game or sitting at a local bar. read more

I'm actually writing this from the location during the game. The fire marshals sign says that over 88 people in the establishment is a fire hazard. God help us if there is a fire. There is easily over a hundred people. There are no seats available on the rooftop. I'm watching the game in the bar. Which I could have done 3 miles away from my home. Not 300. Food is cold. The view isnt down the third base line. It's outside of the third base line looking into the stands. This is so shitty I almost don't wanna tell my friends I wasted time an money on this. It's a pretty bad experience when I am considering buying tix on stub hub for the game. Sheesh. Spend your money else where. read more

I rarely write yelp reviews. So here goes. I had to take my company out & reward them for a great job in the month of April. Since mostly everyone in the sales department are Cubs fans I figured it would be a perfect venue. I looked & figured out about how much it would cost me for 10 people to go & sit inside Wrigley. I wanted wanted to take care of them & have them not worry about tickets, beer & food. Well you can imagine that it gets pretty pricey inside Wrigley. So I started to look for all inclusive and came across this place. It was worth every penny. The view was amazing, endless beer (I think they had 3 bars for like 100 people) , a huge variety of food & delicious desserts. We had a great time & my sales team could not of been happier!!! Which makes me happy. Now the only downer was they stopped serving beer during the 7th. I thought we would get to drink all the way through the game since it was not directly in Wrigley field. Either way I am writing to thank the friendly staff who made it all happen. Worth every penny. We will be back. I think I gained 10lbs that day. read more

My buddies and I visited Wrigley View a few weeks ago to see the Cubs take on the Cardinals. I was a bit skeptical about how the view would be because its so far out in left field. However, the site lines turned out to be great. we could see the whole field perfectly and even had a good view of the scoreboard in center field. Not to mention an awesome 360 degree view of Chicago from the sky deck where you could enjoy views of the lake and even the Chicago skyline. The food was fantastic. brats, hot dogs, sliders, chicken, salads and more all completely catered and even included desserts. I stuffed myself... Cant go wrong with all you can drink either! Knowing how expensive food and drinks are inside the stadium, I feel like I even saved money. this place is a bargain. Overall, the setting was perfect for a game. I feel like watching a game from a rooftop is something you have to do, especially if you have already experience a game inside the stadium.
