Their games suck and are very boring. It would be fun for a 3 year old but not anyone older.

First time taking our kids to a baseball game so we thought it would be great to get front row seats. What a horrible experience. During the entire game we constantly had groups of kids coming down and standing by the field asking players for autographs and balls. It was so bad that they were actually stepping over the couple next to us to get to the dugout. We chose front row seats so we could enjoy and watch a ballgame, but instead had people constantly blocking our view. I tried contacting 3 separate people from the Chicago Dogs about my concerns and NO ONE got back to me. This just adds to my frustration that no one truly cares about the fans. The people selling food were rude and had an attitude, the staff at the kids zone looked miserable and like none of them wanted to be there, and there was no security making sure the fans and ball players were okay. I find it disappointing that for a supposedly family place this is how your fans/ customers are treated. It also doesn't look good for you Vienna and Impact for being involved with a company that treats families like this at their ballpark. Haven't been back and definitely don't plan to. You're better off going to the Schaumburg Boomers where they appreciate their fans. read more

The Dogs have a kids area that aloe the kids to hit balls and have some fun. Each night they have specialty nights and give -a-ways. We went Sat night and watched the Dogs win with a firework show immediately following. It was Elvis night and the national anthem was sang by an Elvis. The Owner Shawn Hunter, and his staff are great! Evan does a great job at sales and operations. Goodbye Schaumburg Boomers, hello Chicago Dogs! I've been pretty loyal to Schaumburg, and we have six minor league teams to support in the Chicago area, but I'm all about the Dogs from now on. It costs a little more than other teams, but the stadium is immaculate, the workers super friendly, the food very high quality for stadium fare, and parking is cheap and right next door to the stadium. This is an amazing venue to watch a good team play baseball! The ticket prices are very good (you can't get seats this close for that price at Wrigley), and the atmosphere is fun and engaging. As you might expect, concessions are still priced like the big leagues, but it's all very high quality, and everyone is very friendly. All in all, definitely worth the price of admission. read more

We have a 6 game package and added a ticket for the 4th of July game. I am very disappointed with the popcorn cart by Flash Point. My 75 year-old mother was confused as to what button she needed to press to complete her transaction. The vendor told her she just just needs to press a specific one. Unbeknownst to her this gave the vendor an automatic tip which she had no intention of leaving. She was confused as to what happened, and my 16-year old explained what occurred after they left. This is a family fun atmosphere that appears to be taking advantage of the elderly, and I am extremely disappointed!. I wrote the team though their email on the day of the incident and neer heard back. We've had good times in the past, but this was a let down that got worse with no response.from the organization. read more

I have driven by this stadium frequently and my husband and and I always say, "we should go to a game and check it out!" Then never do. Rinse, repeat. But my friend set up a fundraiser event at today's game. So we gathered up the crew and headed to the stadium where we proceeded to have the most fun at a super bargain price. Tickets for the fundraiser event meant we got them for $14 plus a $2 fee per ticket. Parking was $3. There's really not a bad seat in the house here. It's super small and accessible. No waiting in line for the bathroom for entire innings, hardly any line at the concession stands. On Sundays they have $3 buckets of popcorn and $3 fountain drinks, both bottomless. Such a deal! There's so many chances for fan participation. We were walking to the store when we were stopped and asked if our kids wanted to go on the field to interact with the mascots in between innings. It was adorable! I really wasn't sure how much fun we would have but we absolutely loved it! Can't wait to go back! read more

The Dog, seriously?? What can you say?!? I did not come here until the COVID world. They finally opened back up in the summer of 2020. And so my wife and I came here, limited occupancy and all. First off, they have a great paring garage right next door. Super convent. Be prepared to pay, in cash. In the COVID world, you will need to be scanned for body temperature on the way in to the stadium. You will need to see your mask on while you are walking around. And you will need to stay away from others. If you don't, they will kick your ass out of here and no refund for you. And I support that 110%!! But the stadium is awesome, the fans are awesome, the players are awesome, the mascots and staff are beyond awesome, and the food/drink is....fine. Seriously, if you want to have a great minor-league baseball game experience, even in the COVID bullshit situation, the Chicago Dogs is the best. And really, can you beat the name?!? read more

I will start off by saying the stadium is a really nice addition to the Rosemont area and I have attended several of their opponents stadiums over the years and this one is one of the nicest I've seen. I was VERY disappointed with the bait and switch promo that is advertised for Tuesday's. I have included a screen shot from their website that advertises Brewsday Tuesday stating they have $2 domestic drafts all night long! This deal sounded amazing so my wife and I waited 20 minutes in line to get nachos and two Miller Lite drafts. The price.....$24?! There must have been a mistake as Miller Lite is domestic and we had a draft, no they are $7 each?! To get the $2 deal you have to walk halfway around the stadium to one specific vendor and the drafts are ONLY Miller High Life and they are half the size of normal drafts. If they are going to advertise a promotion they should either honor it or be more specific with their advertising. They also should utilize more vendor stands when lines are excessive. There were several not stands not being used. read more

Fun fun fun! I loved all the beer offerings. I bought the 16.00 tickets and surprised my husband for Father's Day. He was excited. Parking was 3.00. Great stadium. After sitting a few innings in our ticketed seats, I wanted to walk around and take some pictures. We walked to the back of the field near the big screen. Sooooo cool. I loved the view and the kids chose to stay along the rail as the hubby and I sat in the high top tables. Best seats in the house. 95 degree weather didn't ruin our experience. I'm looking forward to going back and sitting in the same spot. My son loved dancing under the big screen. Everyone had an amazing time. The good, bad, and ugly. Opening day 2020, invited for a family members bday. Arrive with ease, $3 parking! I'm in. Get inside, a bit of confusion where our seats are, a team member from inside the Rivers Stadium club escorts us and away we go. Kids immediately ask for food, I head right back to stadium club. Nice n easy, steps away from seats and I'm told (after numerous phone calls) our tickets include, tap beer, wine, non alcoholic drinks, and a basic food menu! Awesome except the wifey doesn't like tap beer, so I spend $38 grab some beer n walk away. Head back a bit later, grab a dog, pretzel, cheese stick things, and a summer shandy! Nice! Fast forward 30 minutes, kids need water, so I head back toward the stadium club. I'm abruptly stopped by a staff member who immediately asks me where I'm going, I explain and he begins yelling at me that I've been taking advantage of the free bar/food that's not included with my package (woah dude, stay off my package). I explain that the staff inside stadium club told me what was included/excluded and that I was headed back for kids water. "Nope, no way, you need to go to concessions to get that" So I head to concessions, cause my kids need water. "Sorry, you need to buy water." I explain that the nice man at the stadium club assured me that he'd give me ice water for the kids all night, "sorry, only bottled water". Same staff member as before comes back and again becomes aggressive. I again explain that his staff gave me free food, drinks, ice water etc... contrary to his belief I didn't complete some elaborate rouse to get a free Hot Dog, crappy beer and water. He walks away as I walk away without ice water. So to sum it up, cheap parking, crappy staff that has no clue what tickets include what packages (and it's your fault for not knowing), okay-ish baseball, and lame crowd (presumably having experienced same issues as me). This is a great way to see baseball. $3 to park, $3 sodas with unlimited refills. There don't seem to be bad seats. We sprung for seats right behind home plate, but in walking around the whole park, the cheaper seats in 105, 106 get you out of the sun faster and you see the whole field. The hot dog and ice cream we got were good for baseball park food. On our way out, the concession staff was lined up and high-fived everyone on the way out, which was a great way to leave the ballpark! read more

I called ahead to order patio seats (apparently "premium seating"). I shared that I had someone in my party who was handicapped/had mobility challenges and specifically asked to have a lower table (my mother is physically unable to sit at a high top chair because of the difficulties of getting up onto the chair and struggles with stairs). They assured me that was absolutely possible for my mother to come to the game and when I arrived we would be able to easily access the table with our reservation noted on the table. Unfortunately, when we arrived, another party had taken our table. They were not willing to give back the table we'd specifically requested (and paid for) so I went to guest services. I was told it might be a 5 minute wait - fine, I get that the table might be desirable and maybe they didn't know it was possible to order that specific style, and I get that it was a busy game. Half hour later, no one arrived, so we eventually asked security for help. Note that my mother was uncomfortably standing with her walker this whole time. Security did intervene and, indignantly, the party agreed to return our table. However, throughout much of the game, they stood in front of our seats, blocking our view. My father asked them to move each time. (This happened a countless, frustrating amount of times with zero support from security.) Eventually, they refused to move, stating they could stand wherever they wanted and it was our problem if they were blocking their view. Another person from their party came by to threaten my father that he "needed to sit down or else" because they could stand wherever they wanted to. At this point, I went to ask security for help. They were not helpful. We decided to leave for our safety, and likely will not be back. So much for a "family friendly" atmosphere... read more

The location and parking are excellent. The gift store is really nice too. The stadium itself is modern looking and all the seats are good. The tickets are affordable and parking is only $3 (free if you drive a Hyundai). I went on $2 beer night but the only place they serve this $2 beer is under a blue tent in right field (to the right of where you walk in). The only $2 beer they had were cans of Hamms or MIller High Life. So unless you like cheap low quality beer, don't go on $2 beer night. The food was very bad. It is worse than the worst movie theater or gas station food you have ever had. I had a pretzel which had no salt and was completely stale. Someone else in my group got a pretzel which was soggy and greasy. He said it was gross too. Completely inedible. You would think they would serve Chicago style hot dogs there (since that is what the team is named after) but they don't. I have been to many Kane County Cougars games and that food is amazing. I was surprised at how bad the food was. This place could be a real destination if it had much better food or at least edible food. Most people don't come to see the team play, they come for the family valued ballpark experience. The only other thing that was weird is that I came on Fireworks night which was the big promotion for the night along with the gross cheap beer. The game started at 6 and like most games lasted 2.5 hours and ended at 8:30. However for whatever reason the fireworks don't start until 9:35. WTH? So everyone who came for the fireworks had to stay over an hour to see them. Most people left and anyways the fireworks happen across the street at the entertainment district, not the ballpark. I would give 5 stars except for the food which was surprisingly awful so I dinged two stars for that. Overall it is a good experience. Just eat somewhere else. read more

Ballpark is nice enough, but if you like baseball don't buy the "good seats". Bought five tickets at $25 each to get my boys and their guest (all huge baseball fans) front row seats. Fun game, great cheap seats, cheap easy parking, plentiful and clean restrooms. Only complaint I have is they need to work on the wait at concession stands. Lines were miserably long and slow, for example, the popcorn stand had one person working it. She was taking money, making popcorn and filling each and every bag to order. Same with ice cream. If they want to make root beer floats to order, then have dedicated line and staff so those just wanting soft serve or other things don't have to wait as they make each soda. Hire more food service staff. read more

This was a great time! Unfortunately it took us until the end of their season to go check this out, but now that we know it will a regular stop for us next summer. First we went on a Tuesday night because yes it was $2 beer night! Okay, they weren't super large beers but still two bucks. We decided to just get bleacher seats because we figured we'd be walking around a bit anyway. So we did. It's super clean and has a lot of cool stuff especially for kids. There's an area in the outfield we're kids can pitch and also run bases while they are timed. There's a stadium club with special seating, and a lot of good food options. Every inning they have fan based promotions for children and adults, and the mascots are hilarious mustard is the good guy and his enemy of course ketchup. So while we were in our bleacher seats, we were randomly chosen to sit in the "best seats in the house" which are couches that are right next to the dugout! How awesome! Kids loved it, and they interviewed us and put it on the big screen. And the best part...it was affordable. $9 tix, $2 beers and $3 parking. For a family of four it was less than a meal at a restaurant even with food and whatnot. Great time, but the baseball is ehh. Don't expect MLB or even really good minor league play, but still worth going for sure. Maybe next season they'll get better. read more

My husband and I went to a game on May 25. We had seats in the bleachers (because we are Cubs Fans and well...bleachers). That game was rained out...before it even started. The Chicago Dogs said they would honor the tickets for that game at any other ball game in the season. The staff were very friendly and apologetic and gave everyone free hot dogs--not a bad rain out experience--and, hey, you can't control the weather, right? (We also work at Wrigley and understand weather related cancellations!) Skip ahead to August 12 when we realized we still had those tickets. We decided to take the kids (teenagers) with us this time. When we got there, the ticket attendant exchanged our tickets from previous game and we bought two more bleacher tickets for the kids. Quick and painless. We wandered around the park for a bit, then went to our seats in the bleachers. We were hanging out, taking pics and settling in when we were approached by a staff member who asked us if we wanted to upgrade our seats for free--it's a promotion they do on family day. We accepted and followed the nice staff member to the other side of the park, down some stairs, through a tunnel, and out into a little porch in front of all the seats right by the home dugout. Our new seats were a set of comfy, cushioned couches (like patio furniture). We enjoyed a great game from great seats! If anyone at Impact Field asks you if you want to upgrade your seats--your answer should be "yes." Thanks for a wonderful experience! read more

My boyfriend and I had soooo much fun! We're big Cubs fans, but we love sports in general. We went kind of spontaneously on a Tuesday night. He had a few of the "brewsday" beers, and although slightly smaller than the regular beer, the only other place you'll get a beer for less than $2 is if you're drinking at home. The mascots were hysterical, and the games played with people from the audience were really fun to watch. Overall we had a fantastic time. Nachos were relatively inexpensive, and the woman who took my order hooked it up with more cheese than nachos! I've literally never run out of nachos before cheese. Parking is inexpensive ($3/car), and the people were super friendly! I've been to several independent & minor league locations, and this one seemed to be a smidgen smaller, but overall it was a great experience & we'll definitely be back. This is a simple neighborhood place with great hot dogs. Inexpensive and informal, you can sit inside or out, if the weather permits.

The park itself is great - you can see the game really well from any seat. However, parking on a crowded day is horrible (1 way in and out) and we waited 35 minutes for a hot dog. Half the vendor booths weren't staffed and everything that was open had a ridiculous line. I spent half the game standing in line. Management needs to do a better job of making food/drink accessible especially on a hot day. read more

When you're not allowed in for having a DSLR with a 17-55mm lens, you're not getting my $16 for the ticket and all the food and merchandise I would have bought. There is nothing on their website stating any camera restrictions. They even have a "Policies" section where it would obviously be appropriate. They have an arrogant and condescending security agent, Wyatt Tennen, that made up the restrictions as he went on. First it was "professional" cameras. Then, when I pointed out my camera was a consumer camera, it was "professional looking." Then, when I pointed out that my maximum zoom was only 55mm, it was "a camera with a detachable lens." I could have brought a point-and-shoot camera with a fixed lens with a longer zoom and that apparently would have been all right. Get it straight Wyatt, and then try posting it on your website so that people don't waste a trip. read more
