There is a 2 mile blacktop paved loop around the lake. It is mostly flat and only about 10-15% shaded. The trail has two lanes--a walking / running lane, and a biking / roller blading lane. This can be tricky to navigate, especially when it is busy. While there are no dogs allowed on the path, you should expect to encounter a goose crossing or two during your visit. "The Boathouse" has restrooms, and there are a number of park benches and water fountains along the trail. Don't forget to visit the large playground with the kids.

It's a really enjoyable place to spend a few hours by yourself, with friends and family. Parking and entrances to the park are available on both sides 1) off Schaumburg Road 2) off Plum Grove Road.

The friendly guy at the front desk said the nets are there and you can set them up. What happened to your maintenance man and good customer serve. I asked perhaps I should get a discount for setting thing up for you. I complained to the manager last year and nothing happened. Oh did I mention that when the kids are off from school we get kicked out early. Guess seniors aren't a priority at this center.

Staff is very helpful and can provide info on many of the various classes and programs.

I found out about Golf View from a friend and I was so glad to know about this place. $5 to use their basketball court if you are under 18 or $8 for 18+. This is a day rate not hourly which is perfect. This place has 12 rims and plenty of people there on any given day playing basketball. Perfect!!! I peeked around and it seems they offer a nice fitness room. Their monthly rate isn't bad comparing to other fitness center.
