Loved my Saturday at 19 Acres. Food was mostly appetizers but I order the cheese board and it was great. Service was also great, which is amazing. 19 Acres is a new favorite! I tried their Brazilian limeade cider at ZooBrew and they handed out free pint coupons, so we went to cash in. We have returned two more times, even though it's kind of out of the way. It's a great space with a nice patio and pretty indoor area. At their anniversary party, we learned it was a horse barn before! I've never seen cider slushies before but they're amazing. read more

This place is very special to me for a lot of reasons. I love coming here when I'm in the area, and when I'm away, I dream of returning. It's so gorgeous both inside and out. The railroad is beautiful and scenic. The tasting room is spacious and calming. I LOVE their hard Brazilian limeade - definitely my favorite drink ever! I also love their pretzel with cider cheese. It's warm, soft, and has the perfect amount of salt. The staff are all awesome and so cool. The playlists are even awesome! I can't recommend another place more than this one in all of Oregon. I hope I get married here! read more

I have had a couple of different ciders from 19 Acres in the past and I was very impressed by them. I was highly impressed with their Honeycrisp cider. And it's with that cider I'm pushing this review to a five star score with considerable ease. It was so refreshing and just a great cider all the way around. It's a semi-dry cider which I like this type a lot so that was an extra plus. Flavor features to find with this awesome beverage are apple, clean aftertaste and sweet. The body is smooth and the color bright. The other cider I had was a Cherry Cider, that was a good one as well. Flavors with that one are cherries of course, a dry finish and sweet. The cider is light bodied and very refreshing. But my heart truly lies with the Honeycrisp cider and I highly recommend it. read more

We came in on a Saturday afternoon during a heat wave with 2 friends and their toddler. The indoor space is roomy and there are lots of seating outside as well. We picked a spot inside and went up to order two flights as we wanted to try more flavors. The staff was super friendly and took the time to provide a few recommendations for us. Out of all the ones we've tried, my favorite is the Brazilian limenade. It's sweet and refreshing, more like a cocktail than a cider. Also I noticed there is a kids railway track around the cidery. It wasn't open during our visit but it'd be so fun for the kids if it was. As we were leaving we saw someone setting up for a live performance. I have purchased their honey crisp in the store and decided to pop in as I made my way to the beach. I asked to taste several ciders and the host was quick to oblige. His favorites (and least favorites) were the same as mine and I left with a bag full of cider to toast by the ocean. POG is sooooo good. Thanks for the great service! We were looking for a place to relax and unwind after a long hike. In the fall, I couldn't imagine a better location! With beautiful apples, growing in a small orchard on the drive-in, a cute model train set up, and a welcoming taste room with a spacious outdoor patio, this was exactly what we needed! The pretzel with cider cheese, and the almonds were outstanding, and the ciders were really unique, featuring lots of fruit flavors. In particular, the one that had almond and orange was refreshing! And of course, boysenberry is a state staple. It feels like you are a world away from everything, but that is exactly what the vibe is going for and it was perfect for this purpose! Everyone was super nice and accommodating in terms of letting a split a single tasting between two people in favor of having lots of food. Driving to Newberg, I spotted the sign for 19 Acres Cider and had a feeling it would be special. My intuition was spot on! A few weeks later, my husband and I made the trip for their opening at noon. The sunny weather was perfect for the beautiful outdoor seating. The grounds were stunning, and the ciders? Amazing! We did a tasting of eight and loved the variety. We also went for the Charcuterie Board, and based on the recommendation, added the Soft Pretzel with Cider Cheese. Everything ended up getting dipped in that incredible cheese - it was that good! Our favorite cider was a total surprise - the Brazilian Limeade! It was such a unique and delicious choice, we had to grab another glass. Needless to say, we're hooked! We'll definitely be back, and this time, bringing a whole crew to share the experience. Added bonus - while it was not running, there is a train track that goes all around the property. 19 Acres had a delightful environment covered in falling multicolored leaves and an old town vibe. Immediately upon arrival you are greeted with a mini train station and tracks and saloon like buildings. The grounds are incredibly beautiful. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I got a flight of ciders that was great! The cheese and pretzel side meal was delightful too, however the cheese is very sharp so please be advised on your cheese preferences. I recommend this for a nice cider tasting afternoon. I would come back again. The honey crisp was the winner for me! Note there were many box elder bugs covering the porch, and quite a few bees flying around. So if you are afraid of bugs maybe be cautious when coming here. read more

I saw this place while driving by and decided it was a place I needed to visit. It's a wonderful location with a great patio area outside of the tasting room. It looks like an amazing event space. On my visit we had a tasting flight of about 1/2 of the ciders on tap. We also had the cheese board as well. The ciders were ok, seemed a bit dry to me, but I did sample the pommeau first and that may have played a part in that. The cheese board was nice, but the blue cheese is strong. Such a great addition to the area! Perfect place to hang out and entertain with friends with amazing ciders and small bites. Bonus is they are baby/kid friendly as well! Kudos for the high chair availability and changing table in the bathrooms!! I wish I remembered to take a picture of their cider board but they have so many to choose from: honey crisp, Marionberry, imperial, pineapple, passion fruit, their new strawberry hibiscus, and a new seasonal Yule where you can get either cold or hot. I definitely recommend the flight (it comes in 4 choices) so you can try them all! The staff was also very helpful and friendly as well. The charcuterie board we got paired really well with the drinks and (not pictured) the pretzel was soft and chewy with creamy rich cider cheese. Limited food choices but the cider and ambiance is great here! Side note: our engineer friend who used to work for a railroad was nerding out about the small train tracks around the property! They asked the staff about it and apparently the previous owner built the whole thing themselves! So cool! read more

I think this place has only been open a few weeks now, but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and ciders. They had 8 or so ciders on tap available to try and a few others in bottles. Good selection of beer and wine too for those who prefer something else. The setting here is the real draw. The main area is a totally redone barn with very impressive woodwork. The weather was less than ideal when we visited but the outside area looked really nice. Of note, is a 2+ mile model train track that goes around the property which apparently was from a previous owner. There are impressive rail bridges and tracks built for that. It sounds like those will be running next summer which will be cool. Definitely worth a stop to visit or at least a detour when visiting Ponzi or other wineries in the area. Cider is made here the way it should be made - with real fruit and no additives. I have had the opportunity to taste each of their ciders, and each one is exceptional--my favorite- the Honey Crisp. Great place for some cider and a snack! We got two flights so we could try eight of their 12 flavors. We really enjoyed their ciders. They are not overly sweet and the fruity ones taste very natural. Our favorites were the Marionberry and the Strawberry Hibiscus. Each flight is $12 which I think is pretty reasonable. Food boards range from $11-32. We got the pretzel and the meat board. Meat board was $19 which is a bit pricey, but we enjoyed it. Great, fast service. Staff was friendly and answered questions. I'm excited to go back during nicer weather when the doors will be open and we can sit outside. We also bought one of their growlers. It was $24 for the bottle and a fill. Refilling it is $12. The also had an insulated growler for $60. Great atmosphere. Glasses, shirts, and hats were also for sale. read more

Specialties

Our tasting room resides in a converted horse barn, thoughtfully updated with reclaimed wood accents and modern touches. Visitors will be invited to enjoy the scenic landscape through the floor to ceiling windows, or outside on one of our two patios, while sipping a selection of curated beverages. Tastings and single glass pours of 19 Acres Cider along with a selection Oregon cider, beer, and wine is available. To complement the tastings, a selection of delicious food offerings will be available, including charcuterie boards, house-made cider cheese with a soft pretzel, and rotating gourmet snacks.

History

Established in 2021.

19 Acres Cider Co. takes pride in knowing apples, with over 40 years in apple farming. Our family farm, Oregon Heritage Farms, is just over 400 acres with 250 of it being dedicated to apples. After decades of selling apples commercially, we had literal tons of not so pretty apples that we had no home. After dumping so many apples onto the ground we figured we had to utilize the waste. So we decided to take 19 Acres of our farm and dedicate it to a new project, 19 Acres Hard Cider Company. We take immense pride in knowing that we take care of the apple from bloom to bottle.

The excitement began during the drive up to the tasting room from the roadway, where incredible views across the valley took my breath away. The clear vistas on the fall day were gorgeous, with much of the Cascade Range in view. Once inside, we were greeted in a warm, bright space that felt comforting and familiar. There was football on, views galore, and plenty of fascinating Oregon history and wine country information - a true space for anyone! Mary was our server (I think), and she was very helpful for the entire journey. It was great to learn so much about the history of the land and the current owners. I enjoyed tasting the variety of wines produced on the property and nearby, and I definitely preferred the rosé blend and the Chardonnays. If you are a fan of Pinots, you will like them, too, but the aromas and flavors are slightly tamer than my preference for bright fruit and spice notes. We also ordered a charcuterie board, and the crew was very accommodating to all of our needs. We spent some time walking the grounds, too, and I can absolutely see myself returning to drink some rosé by the pool in summer.

Diane is a wonderful host and she has a passion for wine making. The wine tasting was small, intimate, and special. I loved that she surprised us with some snacks and food she made. Diane gave us information about how the wine was made and specific notes of the wine and just overall did a great job. She's extremely friendly and reminds me of my family. I want more people to come experience what I did at Nemarniki Vineyard. My experience nothing short of incredible and I cannot wait to potentially come back in the future. The views from the house were stunning, and the atmosphere she created was beautiful. The wine tasting was $40/pp and you can book it through the phone. I was first skeptical when booking since there were only 2 reviews on Yelp but I'm glad I took a chance on this place. The wines were fantastic and I would highly suggest coming here versus other wineries/vineyards.

First, the lovely employee accommodated my request to a white and rose only tasting, and of the 4 I tried, 4 I LOVED. I even took a bottle of the rose to a new years party and it was beyond a hit! I typically only am drawn to chardonnays but the Lilly of the valley white blend was superb as was the rose (and the others). My husband had the charcuterie board and it was (according to him) delicious and we wants to come back again to enjoy it. All said - we are fans, and now have a group of more fans wanting to come out for a tasting (or for the non-wine lovers - a charcuterie board) 10x10 recommend this local gem!

We had a Saturday tasting where we were the only ones there for an hour or so, and were joined by three other guests for the last half of our visit. Boyd Teegarden (co-founder) conducted the whole tasting and was obviously able to provide the most insight conversation about the estate and his wines. We enjoyed everything and will continue to get some roses and pinots. Having that personal connection adds so much.

The quality of wines were amazing, and we enjoyed David sharing stories of his transition into wine making. He also shared every detail on the wines we tasted. Imagine sitting at the table with your friend sharing a glass of wine, but he is also the one that made the wine. That would be here. Friendly, approachable, and worth every minute! A 10 out of 10 experience. Our group of 5 has been fortunate to travel through many wine regions over the years. When traveling to Willamette Vally, Bells Up is a must stop on your itinerary.

This place also doubles as an Airbnb so if there's ever a stay the night kind of deal, this winery offers it. I got the wine tasting of four which consisted of a pinot gris, cab franc, pinot noir and a rose of pinot noir. My favorite out of the bunch was surprisingly the cab franc, even though we were in pinot country. Very green and vegetal tasting. It was a weird way to get to the bathroom which I had to walk around the building because the farmer was sleeping in the main room. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a tasting was around $28. I'd say a good value and good wines with a great view.

The service is wonderful, it feels like your guests at someone's house. just enough talk and descriptions of wine without being overbearing. we never had to wait for the next pour, they saw when we were ready and magically appeared. It's dog friendly, so my friend brought their lab pup. The owners also have dogs - but be cautious as one of their large dogs went after our pup. Thankfully the owner was able to grab him and kept him locked up for the rest of the time, but it did have me quite rattled. The next time, we will leave the pup home out of caution.
