I can't believe it took me this long to write a review. I beg the owner's, Molly and Daryl, forgiveness! Perhaps selfishly I was trying to keep it a secret to protect my stash access to some of my favorite wines in the region. Only 3 miles away from our home, Twill has been our local favorite winery for over 5 years. A small and intimate venue, every attention to detail has been considered and engineered into their presentation and guest experience. They treat you like a member of the family, caring much more about you than profit. Rare in this world. It has been the location of my daughter's wedding and engagement party. And no doubt more family or professional events if/when we're in need. Molly and Daryl are the most charming and warm "neighbor vintners" we know. No pretentiousness. All passion and commitment to excellence. So let's get to the wine. Our favorites have been the Steelhead Pinot (retired), their 2021 & 2023 Color of Orange and their 2022 Willamette Chardonnay. Add to that - the 2019 Johan Vineyards and Bracken Pinot Noirs.....WOW! And they also recently added fabulous appetizers (we loved the almonds and olives) - you could spend a beautiful satiated afternoon with your favorite people - leaving with rested and glowing happy faces. Exceptional wine and kind, honest, easy-going owners. Their rosé is light and sassy, and "The Color Orange" is a really fun blend of Chardonnay and very lightly pressed Pinot Noir, but the Stormy Morning Vineyard 2022 Pinot Noir was absolutely phenomenal. Delicious, bold and full but no acidic finish. We had to buy it. We will be back! read more

Traveling through and stopped and loved our visit. A very tidy tasting room with lots of outdoor seating with views of the vineyards. Delicious wines that represent the region. Of course we bought some to take along. Super friendly and worth the stop which is easy to access from the Interstate. read more

My fiance and I were visiting Portland for a quick trip and wanted to check out a local winery - we had the best time at Twill Cellars! The ambience is so peaceful and the wine is very tasty. The service was also fantastic - the people working there are very kind and knowledgeable. Not to mention there are a couple adorable Bernese Mountain dogs to complete the experience! We would 100% recommend to anyone in the area. read more

Very good wines, excellent service, just a really good experience. We got to chat a bit with one of the owners (Molly) about their story. One of the Chardonnays comes from estate-grown grapes on a very small plot near the tasting room - light and refreshing. My favorite was the Syrah - but if you want some, now is the time, after this vintage is gone, there won't be any more (but there will be more of their other delicious offerings. This is a true gem hidden in the hills! Wonderful couple owns the place and it's their baby and it shows. Incredible attention to detail in both quality of wines and presentation. I felt like the bottle alone was more expensive than what I paid for this wonderful wine. We found this vineyard shortly after moving to the Portland area. The tasting room is lovely and very inviting. We visit frequently and sometimes bring our own charcuterie tray to enjoy with their fantastic wines. We have two favorite wines from here, that we buy often to bring home, Pearl & Confluence. Pearl is a white blend and Confluence is a red blend. Both are very good and are always a hit when we have dinner guests! This place is a gem, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby city of Portland. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves wine and lives in the West Linn or Portland area! read more

Ok, I have driven by the Ribera driveway a hundred times and to be honest, its a small little road that looks like it goes nowhere. My daughter set up a wine tasting there one Saturday afternoon and my lovely wife and I decided to try it. Well the little road quickly opens up to a community of beautiful homes tucked in right next to the Tualiton River. Some have their own little beaches. The wine tasting started and I have to say all of them were outstanding. I have my favorites, but you will have to try them for yourselves. We are going back for sure... read more

You don't get a five star rating at a vineyard without great wine. Everything they pour is wonderful and they have a wine for every occasion. A romantic celebration paired with a high end bottle of red complexity; they've got it. An every day red blend to get you through winter or a crisp white for a warm summer bbq; got that too. To top it all off, the couple that owns it are friendly and fun to chat with and if your lucky you'll meet the sweetest Bernese Mountain dog you've ever seen! read more
