I attended a fundraiser here for the lakeridge high school football team and this was also my first time visiting the winery. It was an absolute beautiful venue. There was great seating inside and outside, the staff was wonderful, delicious catered food, beautiful decorations and wine was delicious. I loved that there was a firepit outside, one large pond out front, areas to walk the property and places to take such great photos. This is a great place to hold parties of any kind and any size. It's located in West Linn and a short drive from Tualatin/Tigard/Portland. Highly recomend.

I only came for an event on Fourth of July, from what I saw it looks like a beautiful winery. People brough chairs and set up around a small pond. There ended up being plenty of space for everyone. I didn't get to try any wine, as it was so hot, I opted for the Froze, which was good, but I felt was way overpriced. It was $13, and then the staff wanted a $2 minimum tip, for something that took them 30 seconds to serve. I changed my tip to a $1 and they didn't seem to take kindly to that. Overall, I loved my experience, and would certainly return to try the wines, and a cooler day.

We were looking to stop by a winery before leaving Portland and we stopped by Tumwater. It's about 20 minutes south of Portland so it's very convenient if you're coming from the city. They are only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays while Saturdays are for members only. There is both indoor and outdoor seating where there are great views of the vineyards. We had their tasting of four wines for $20 which is complimentary if you buy two bottles. After going through the tasting I bought the sauvignon blanc and the syrah which were our two favorites. You can join as a member free of charge which gives perks like free tastings, exclusive wine release parties, and discounts on bottles. The staff was great and it was a great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Delicious wines with tastes served at once in mini carafes so you can relax and have some uninterrupted time, great appetizers like bacon dates. Some membership dining events and beautiful setting- outdoor views of water and hills of vines. Stunning at sunset.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Tumwater! We had the most perfect dinner, the tables and chairs were beautiful with white linens and we were able to be indoor and outdoor. It was lovely and they were able to have the chef prepare a specific menu for us and it was delicious! The wine was amazing of course and everyone had a wonderful time at our rehearsal dinner. I will always highly recommend any event at Tumwater- Becky was an amazing manager and was so helpful!

The atmosphere and service was good but food was a not so good experience. We asked for the bacon wrapped dates and they were out of and had been out of it for a while so we ask for another appetizer, artichoke dip and they were also out of that. I was out of town looking for a great wine experience, but I guess I chose the wrong place.

Greg shared that he had been with the family owned business for exactly 1 year the day that we were there! We told him he deserved a bottle of the reserve Pinot Noir as an anniversary gift, he was great and treated us so kind and never rushed us. We chose to try the Reserve Flight and a charcuterie board. The wine is delicious especially the last 2 Pinot Noirs on the reserved flight menu!! It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday and we will definitely be back! The only bummer is we did not get to meet the owner/family but Greg certainly made up for it.

I heard about it pretty close to the event and my friends I came with had heard of the winery before. I went in with no real expectations. I get around by cane and am a lot more mobile somedays than others. I cannot recommend this to anyone with mobility issues. I was able to get around a bit but the parking lot is gravel, there is a VERY epic hill one needs to hike up that is also gravel and steep and the grounds are very uneven throughout with rough stairs and such. Where they wanted most people to "sit" to picnic was a hill of gravel. The lawns are uneven. The space is gorgeous but again, this is a nightmare if you have any mobility challenges. I truly appreciate the thought given to everything here and I sincerely feel that they are just doing the wine as a means to fund their gardening and space which makes me clap and scream bravo. The space is gorgeous though i saw some of the website photos and some of the areas I think were better previously - they seem to keep adding gravel and I wish they would go with that old world feel they are trying and even do cobble or stone walks. Anything but gravel. Which brings me to the wine... I chose the rose and that is one of the first bottles of wine I genuinely found uncomfortable to drink. My friends said their Pinot Noir was just as awful. I noticed later that even the label is haphazard. It was shockingly bad and I am not a wine snob in the least. So, with all that... I say that is you want to experience a sort of rustic Spanish villa you stumbled on to definitely drop in. I am sure their tastings are maybe where is at for some but their tasting room has an incredible view of the grounds so that alone is probably worth the gravel trek in and $15.
