Ripple IPA

Great Brews! Had the Ripple collabo with Riip and the nachos and both were fire! Don't sleep on the happy hour menu -- Wowsers. Nick was our server and absolutely killed it! Great food, brew and service!!!

What a cool spot with great food and surroundings! 1886 is located in old town Orange so tons of stuff to look at and places to eat. This restaurant has a great selection of brews and the food we had was delicious and affordable!!! I absolutely loved my biscuits with gravy plate, I can't remember the last time I had a dish with biscuits and gravy that was so yummy and not greasy or loaded with fillers! We got two dishes and water the tab was just under 40 bucks!!! This is a definite go to and I will be back. Totally enjoyed our time and it wasn't too busy or crowded so we could enjoy our conversations as well. Service was amazing!

Nick was amazing as our server. He was attentive, hilarious, and went along with our little jokes. The food was delicious and the vibe of the brewery is just so chill and cool. We got a sour girl, a hard cider, and a mixed drink. All delicious. Happy hour is so worth it here.

Loaded nachos, loaded fries and capicola and burrata flat bread.

First time visiting for drinks and appetizers. Brought the team to celebrate a promotion after work. Staff is OK, not particularly cheerful or attentive. That said, they do their job so can complain too much. Decent amount in items in the sharable or appetizers menu but not much appealed to us. The non alcoholic drinks are very limited. Is that a zero proof mojito or just a lemonade? The interiors are fine, nothing to write home about or really criticize. Tables were clean. Not sure I need to return.

Stopped by for happy hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with $5 beers and $8-$10 food options. The blonde beer was good. The wings were just okay, dry with sauce. Both street parking and nearby parking lots require payment until 6:00 PM.

Stopped by yesterday to watch the World Cup games and had an awesome time! 1886 is located in Old Town Orange off Glassell; there's plenty of street parking around (but I would recommend taking a ride share if you're local and coming during rush hours to avoid traffic). They offer reservations online so definitely take advantage of that when you can, and offer plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating. It's definitely more of a restaurant vibe with a brewery on site, but the vibes are great regardless. Staff is all super friendly, and are quick to serve (even during busy days like yesterday). They make a killer Bloody Mary, and offer flights of their beers as well. I also tried their nachos and those were great as well. Overall, this is a great spot to hang with friends and watch a game or two, and I definitely plan to stop by again soon.

BC Burger! YUM

Trying out new breweries and found this cute place in Old Towne Orange! I must say their burger was one of the best I had recently. Not sure it's cause I haven't had a burger in a while or it's really that good! Highly recommend getting the BC burger and adding $2 for the fries but they said they make their chips in house that's included! We got some appetizers to share Wings- I didn't realized how smothered their wings would be in buffalo sauce but it's their 1886 wing sauce. I could use as a dip instead of tossed Guacamole- it comes with chicharrones! That was a nice surprised The beers weren't bad. We got a flight! A moderate amount of different beers to choose from Not a bad stop for old town Orange. Love to check out all the shops and restaurants near by! Interior is so cute and rustic. Waitress was super nice and knowledgeable!

French toast sticks and bottomless mimosas

1886 Brewing has a great weekend brunch and Happy Hour Menu!! Their French Toast Sticks are a must try but what's great is that they offer a great breakfast combo where you pick a starter, main and sweet for dessert. You also can't go wrong with bottomless mimosas!! For Happy Hour I recommend the burger but they also offer a combo with either beer or cocktail which is even nicer! They have a great patio as well with games and great viewing spot if you're watching the game! Also Dog Friendly so what more can you ask for?!

I mean unanimous 5 start review. Their weekend brunch is amazing. $29 all you can drink mimosas, brunchuterie olatter? Like yes please. Think of it like a charcuterie board but better. Churros with chocolate or Carmel dipping sauce? Check. Donut balls? Check French toast stick Candied bacon Sausage Bread pudding Waffle chicken Eggs? I mean absolutely amazing Cheeseburger was slamming and make sure you get the garlic fries. So darn good. Service was on point and bottomless mimosas were always filled. Great spot to watch a game they had 10 tv's complete 360 view!!!

I've always wanted to try this place. I knew it was going to be good since the owner also owns Smoqued. I ordered the cheeseburger lunch special which came with fries and a beverage.i also had cheese curds. This burger was amazing. I love and juicy burger. I really enjoyed their seasoned fries. Cheese curds are a favorite of mine and these did not disappoint. They were some of the best I've eaten. Service was also very good. I recommend this place.

Turkey ABC Sandwich & Bodega Sando
Randi B.

Had brunch here on a Sunday. Got there at about 11:40 and there were ample tables available, yay for no wait! It looks nice in here, there are lots of TVs and they had every imaginable sports game on when we were there. The chairs were so comfy! I was very pleased with the seating. Our waitress was really nice, but she was swamped with some very needy tables, so I think she did her best with us. He had one of their light beers and said it was ok. I had the Yuzu Lychee hard seltzer, wasn't a fan. It tasted more like apple juice to me, I didn't finish it. I had the Bodega Sando that has scrambled eggs, a hash brown patty, bacon, "spicy" sauce, and is served with house potatoes. I really liked my sandwich and the potatoes! I didn't find the spicy sauce to have a hint of heat though, I was fine with it. He had the Turkey ABC sandwich with bacon, lettuce, avocado, and pepper jack cheese, served with chips. I liked my meal better, but he enjoyed it. We do want to come back, he wants to try their burgers, I want to try the Brunchcuterie board which sounds really unique and tasty. We'll make it a point to visit again soon!

Fantastic Brewery in Old Town Orange with fantastic service. Our bartender was friendly and gave great recommendations. I was able to get a red ale which I feel like is hard to find these days and my friend got a pilsner she loved. We split chicken wings and sliders and crispy brussel sprouts during happy hour and it was all very reasonable. I loved the antique woodwork that can be admired from the interior and the exterior of the building.

Dropped by on a Sunday night while in the area with my husband. It has that brewery vibe on the outside, but it's way more pub than just brewpub. Solid food menu and great beer/cocktail lineup. We'd snacked earlier so we weren't too hungry, and shared a couple plates. We went with the guac with chips and chicharrones, and the gabagool burrata flatbread (delicious). I went with the strawberry mule, and my husband grabbed a beer, I forgot which one. Everything tasted way better than expected. Definitely a must try if you're anywhere near the Orange Circle. Wish it was closer to Whittier, we'd be regulars.

Are you board game friendly? As in ca. a small group eat, drink, and play a board game at a table?

Absolutely! Our patio is perfect for this.

Do you guys do bottomless mimosas?

Yep, on sat and Sunday brunch between 10am and 2pm.

Any gluten free beers? Are kids allowed?

Kids, yes. It's a full restaurant. As for GFB, I'm not sure. They have a rotation though. So, I think they usually have at least 1 GFB.

Do you have gift cards available?

Yes, we sure do.

Do you accept party of 14?

Yes we do.

Do you have a happy hour meny?

They have happy hours from 3-6. Just not sure about the menu

Do you take parties of 8 people?

Yes.

Are you guys open for outdoor dining?

Yes

Do you have any Vegan friendly menu items?

Yes! The grain bowl without Parmesan is a great option and delicious!

Is it dog friendly on the patio?

Yes it is, 2 dogs max. Must be well behaved.

Will there be wine options?

Yes, a lot of options.

They have a lot of screens throughout the brewery to watch the game, and there are food trucks with a variety of food. It gets pretty busy on weekends and on game days, so parking can be hard at peak times. Both the huckleberry and baja sipper seltzers were really good and sweet, and the baja sipper one tastes like mountain dew baja blast. We also got the bronx bomber pizza, which comes with marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, jalapeno, garlic, and parmesan. I've heard good things about the pizza here, but it came out even better than I expected. The crust is thin but still soft and crisp. They do online orders for the pizza, but not on the weekends. We wanted to do a half and half pizza to try another kind, but they don't do that on the weekends either. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Probably the busiest brewery in Anaheim--and that's saying a lot…read more We tried visiting on a Friday night and couldn't find parking anywhere nearby. The lot was completely slammed, with a line of cars cruising and waiting for spots to open up. The surrounding industrial buildings weren't any better, with completely packed lots despite the heavy tow risk. Since we were in the area for a couple of days, we decided to come back the next afternoon, and the parking situation was much more manageable. It's easy to see why this place draws a crowd, though unfortunately, it's not for the beer itself. The industrial space is massive--both inside and out--with plenty of seating. There are screens everywhere, including a giant one on the patio that makes it a great spot for watching sports. You'll also find several stationary food trucks on-site serving up comfort food ranging from pizzas to loaded fries. It's very family-friendly in the afternoon hours, though the vibe likely shifts quite a bit once the sun goes down. The main issue--and the reason for the 3-star rating--is that this is a brewery, not just an event space, and the beer simply didn't impress. While there's a wide variety on tap, they don't offer tasters or flights, and everything is served in disposable plastic cups. You're forced to choose between half or full pours, which makes sampling more than a couple of beers a bit risky. To top it off, prices are fairly high with very little cost difference between half and full pours, making it clear they're pushing volume (and pitchers) over craft exploration. Ultimately, if you're looking for a lively social hub to hang out with friends, Brewery X is a solid option. But if you're searching for genuinely great craft beer, there are much better choices around.
