I love this place! The owner is super sweet "issa". If it was just her or workers like her i would give 5 stars no doubt. BUT theres this asian girl that Always seems to be forced to work there. And is soooo rude. She always makes my drinks lacking less boba less flavor than when issa does. Issa makes things perfect because she does it out of love. But this girl makes me want to turn around and leave the place. Because i dont want to order from her. She always charges me more than issa as well. Its like what? The price says 2.75 issa charges me that but this girl goes umm "thinks about it" than goes $5. Uhh ok let me pay her instead of mAking a problem but than it doesnt turn out as good? If i ever ask a question she rolls her eyes as if she wants to say "ugh why am i here" This place is awesome and issa is too sweet to have a worker or family member like this scare her customers away. read more

I was so excited to learn that they got a boba place in Simi Valley. Honestly, I was kind of disappointed. Their boba tea was not as good as I'd hoped and expected. When you're craving some salt and a bit of home, this definitely hits the spot. Get the pork chop combo or the popcorn chicken combo. Perfectly battered and salted, with white rice, steamed veggies and a boiled egg. Shanghai dumplings served here. Not fabulous but its better than nothing. Service is amazing! read more

My favorites are the spicy popcorn chicken, chicken rice soup, handmade taquitos with fresh salsa and the jasmine green tea with whichever fruit flavor I'm craving; lychee, mango, lemon etc.. coffee drinks are great too. I go here at least 4 times a week or more I love the boba and food is great and quick when I'm lazy or need a snack. The little gift shop is fun to browse in and my kid loves to play checkers or one of the other table games while me and my girlfriend sit on the comphy couches and talk, relaxing atmosphere, great service and yummy product! I love everything I try, my husband likes the variety of the jellys and boba available to ad to the variety of drinks. My 8 year old has the have the potstickers and the chicken curry is great, high recommend it, a regular place me and my family visit . read more

I just came here with my boyfreind and I really enjoyed the service the lady working there was nice and attentive. I had ordered the lychee slush and it was the best I've had and my boyfriend ordered the vanilla cookie drink it was really good as well. Seeing as there are no boba places closer than the valley I decided to try 118 cafe. The past 3 times I've gone here have been totally inconsistent. The women working here making the drinks are all very helpful and friendly. I haven't tried the food but here's a review of the drinks: Milk tea and Almond tea boba are decent. I am used to sweet matcha green tea drinks so the matcha was pretty nasty in my opinion. However -The Jasmine Green Tea with boba is what will keep me coming back. Delicious. Although I prefer my milk tea over ice, the blended drinks here have stronger flavor. They also have an assortment of games like chess and mancala that make this place fun to just chill at. read more

Great little cafe. We've been going to this place for the longest time on and off. We usually forget about this place because we always go to Alhambra / Monterey Park area. I'm glad we remember it today. Saved us a trip to Chi-town. One of a kind in SIMI valley. There are tons of this kind of Taiwanese style cafe in Alhambra area. Traditional Taiwanese snacks are the type of food they serve here. The owner has the memory of an elephant, we haven't been here for a year or so but she still remembered us and what we like to order. Staff are super friendly and accommodating as well. so i finally had some of their food. i had the crispy pork chop and the fiance got the crispy salmon teriyaki. after our meal, i would have to say that, yes, i would totally be back for more of their food! it reminds me of my fiance's mom's home cooking. i miss home cooking that only a mother can make. for the pork chop combo meal, it came with rice, veggies, soy sauce egg, and green tea for less than $6! totally worth it! like i said, i'll be back for some more yummy food! read more

This place is friendly, options are clear, quality is high, cleanliness is good, lots of food and drink options, and the boba and jelly drinks themselves are pretty okay. I had the thai tea with jelly and it was definitely the real deal without being overly sweet or too watery, though I could have used a touch less ice. The owner is honest and hard working, and despite the young atmosphere, there's plenty of space and seating. I'd recommend going in off hours if you just want to relax for a bit. read more

Ordered a strawberry lemonade smoothie with boba and when I was consuming said boba i got something other then boba. I quickly made aware that there was small red pieces of plastic not just a small amount but an abundance amount of plastic. It seems the worker who was making the boba dropped some plastic inside the blender without notice. When I went up to question said boba i was told it was syrup pieces and informed it was definateley not plastic. I ended up throwing it away after my friends helped me confirmed it was plastic. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else because i for one do not like consuming plastic in my boba. read more

We like this little hang out spots. First time we went, we decided to try many snacks and to be honest, good was just okay. Popcorn chicken was too salty for us. But we found something we liked recently. It is their chicken croissant sandwich. So simple yet really good and healthy and for only 5 bucks... Boba is alright. We go to another place for milk tea. Best bobba ever! I like the Macha Green Tea Bobba. It is always really cold and chock full of bobba. I also really like their chicken curry, their corn chowder soup and everything I've had there. It is a great place to hang out and play board games and things like Jenga and Mancala. Once a month they have Kung Fu movie night on their big screen TV. read more

The service was great and the tea with boba was good, the food was bad. The food was greasy and tasted as if it was heated in a microwave. It seems that they picked up a bunch of appetizers from Costco and they either fry or microwave food. I had an instant stomach ache. read more

I love their smoothies, especially the apple one. It is so creamy and refreshing. They offer you regular dark boba, small dark boba or small pink boba. I ordered the veggie chicken crispy. It came with white rice, steamed veggies and crispy soy chunks. They were a bit salty and unappetizing. I gave them to my sister and she tossed them. The steamed veggies and the rice were perfect. I also ordered mozzarella sticks and the cheese was good and had a nice chew but the outside breading was weak on flavor. The marinara dipping sauce was also kind of weak on flavor. Aside from the overly salted soy chunks I will definitely return to 118. Overall great find and cute little gift section along with magazines and games while you eat. read more

Absolutely love this place! They have a ton of selections, food and drinks. My family always gets the squid balls and the chicken! I always get watermelon slush with mini boba and it is amazing! Also had the almond, cookies and cream, and taro and they are all great! The staff is always nice and they even have little board games to pay with while you wait.
