    110 Signature Burger*

110 Grill is a hidden gem in West Leb. The staff is kind and friendly and the atmosphere is sophisticated yet chill. This is the perfect place for a first date or special occasion. The Thai Sesame Salmon was divine. I loved the soft jasmine rice sprinkled with sesame seeds. The broccoli slaw paired wonderfully with the sweet and tender salmon. The bang bang sauce was a bit spicy to the point it was almost painful! But I am up for a challenge and throughly enjoyed 110 Grill.

Go to restaurant of a good friend so stopped today for lunch. We ate in the bar which was very nice and lots of room. The bartenders knew my friend when we walked in, always a good sign. My friend had his usual salad with a nice piece of salmon and I tried the Cuban on the bartenders recommendation. The sandwich was very good and I like the fried pickles as a twist on the original. After driving by this place 50 times this summer glad I stopped in and will definitely go back

Service was ok. Kitchen people were loud. Food was ok. Food arrived little cold. Not what I expected. I give the plate 4/10 , Dessert 5/10 , and Service 6/10.

    Gluten free Swordfish*

The service was great! The waiter was really nice, and the service was really quick! I got the gluten free swordfish, and it was perfect! The only thing was that the broccoli was really mushy. It wasn't very loud, and the lighting was really good. It was really nice in there.

A nice, upscale restaurant that's also approachable and particularly considerate of people with food allergies which is cool. Their menu is excellent, very unique and makes me want to come back. The clam chowder tasted great, though could've been a bit hotter. Their bowls are also interestingly shaped and very modern, liked that a lot. I ordered the chicken piccata gnocchi which was fantastic and had the perfect amount of lemon caper sauce with some sliced lemons too. A big boneless fried chicken piece was on top which tasted wonderful. I had one bite of someone's gnocchi bolognese which was just as great (and real bolognese! As in 3+ different kinds of meats, not just ground beef haha). Our waiter was great, very witty and had funny remarks each time he came over. Their brownie sundae was huge and perfect to share among 3 people. Definitely recommend.

Gnocchi Bolognese with garlic bread (supposed to be ciabatta)

The food was tasty, had a nice amount of bolognese sticking to the gnocchi. It was good overall - the restaurant must have ran out of ciabatta because I got a different kind of bread than advertised. The only thing is it felt like the sauce of the bolognese was missing something. I think if it had garlic and diced onion it would have been just right. I understand the restaurant takes allergies seriously which is a good thing but I do wish my dish had garlic in the sauce. The service was great! We had a wonderful, charismatic server who very regularly topped off our waters, made sure we were doing okay and was very funny. The ambiance was lovely and we sat outside. I enjoyed my experience overall and would come back. I also had the oreo brownie sundae which was a very good size and very much a shareable dessert. It was delicious and VERY sweet.

Excellent meal. I didn't realize that they closed at 9pm the night that we went there, but we'd been at Dartmouth all day and arrived at 8:47pm. I wish I remembered his name, but our server was awesome and welcomed us in for however long we wanted. I ordered the chicken caprese meal and a 110 old fashioned. I devoured them both. Amazing flavor, crispiness, and the drink was perfectly made. We left happy and full and tipped well for the courtesy of letting us stay late. Would definitely come back again.

What used to be a sketchy area is now filled with boutique shops, bustling businesses of tech and industry, arts, culture, and restaurants. One such upscale craft cocktail bar is Wolf Tree. If you didn't know it, you might feel as if you'd stepped into a hipster cocktail lounge in Brooklyn as you walk into Wolf Tree. They offer a variety of playful and inventive drinks. My friend was able to get a virgin cocktail but I just wish they had more than one single cocktail on the menu with vodka. With my choices somewhat limited, I went with a drink called "Friday I'm In Love": vodka, citrus, strawberry, mint, and bubbles. It looked beautiful when it arrived to the table and was a palate pleaser with sour, sweet, and minty flavors. They have weekly specials, classic-type cocktails, and what they call "happy meals" - a beer and shot combination. Don't fear, though, they still have Budweiser, Bud Lite, Miller High Life, and other draft beers for those feeling more traditional Upper Valley. We also ordered one of their charcuterie boards that featured local selections of cheese and meats, olives, pickled vegetables, cured mustards, and a baguette. A great selection but like most of Wolf Tree, a little on the expensive side. Overall I enjoyed my first trip to Wolf Tree and I'm glad hip places like this exist in the Upper Valley.

The interior and the cocktail menu reminded me of the cocktail bars that I frequent in NYC. It's quite cute, dimly lit. I think it's a great place for a date. I enjoyed the Night Vision. It's a rum based drink with carrot, ginger and pineapple juices as well as sesame. My friends got the Knife Fight which was a bourbon based drink with lemon ginger pineapple. Tasted like a gingery whiskey sour. If I'm in town again I'll stop by and try something else. Not sure if this is normal or if their AC was broken but it was super hot inside.

The tuna Crudo, with some sesame crusting and a wonderful sauce was delicious. The sauce had a warmth to it without overpowering the flavors. The tuna was seared perfectly. Next was the Hamachi ceviche. The citrus came through here and it was a more subtle dish than the Crudo, but very tasty. The spicy beef, raw, was amazing. The sauce it was mixed in, was very spicy, and the peanuts added a nice crunch. Even with that much power, the taste of the beef came through. The last of our small plates was the grits. This delicious smooth and rich concoction was a great accompaniment to the spice and zest of the other dishes. The grits, the cheddar, the truffle and the mushrooms had a sublime feel to the mouth and a subtle flavor with richness. For dessert, we had cappuccino, espresso and cannoli. My wife thought her cappuccino was great and I felt that the espresso was rich and smooth. I think it's better than you get it most restaurants. The disappointment, however, came in the cannoli. I would not recommend this dessert at all. These felt like they had been filled a day or two ago. There was absolutely no substance to the cannoli pastry whatsoever. However, a cannoli is not gonna keep me from coming back to this place! I will return.

Drive 5 minutes over the state line to Putnam's in White River Junction, Vermont for that sommelier-staffed experience. Love the ambience and rigorous focus on elevated, quality ingredients, at Putnam's. They have a corkboard-covered 3-ring binder menu which is aptly named a Field Guide. Trust me, this name is earned by the Tasting Notes alone. The field guide is like a thesis for advanced Upper Valley sippers, Vermont or not. If you forgot your book or paper, just saddle up to the Putnam's Field Guide. You'll find an elaborate offering of editorial descriptions of beverages from wine to martinis (6 kinds) to beer and whiskey (one from Japan). Btw, it's rare to find a wine bar that doubles as a gorgeous coffeehouse serving pastries, espresso-based drinks, teas and breakfast sandwiches on weekends. I'm looking forward to enjoying them sometime if I'm back. The offering at Putnam's Vineyard rotates seasonally, so I will describe what was there on my visits. Visit their website for updated menu surprises. As for the evening and weekends Fall menu, they call their offering Picnic Food. It's a modest title for an extensive offering of appetizers and a few sandwiches. Think fancied-up olives, pretzels, Brazilian cheese puffs, a craft beer mix, 2 melty sammies with Vermont cheeses (1 with turkey, the other veggies), beet and chevre arancini, dips and a vast selection of desserts. Vermont cheeses, apricots, Marcona almonds, dried apricots and crostini are looking divine on the cheese board. Oh, and there's also Superbon Madrid potato chips with Osetra caviar and a mini spirit of Gaston Chiquet champagne. Just saying. There is also a weekend brunch menu with bagels and egg sandwiches. As for the wine, I recommend a flight at Putmam's. In the fall season, these flight offerings were named: the Bella Blanca Wine Flight, the Falling Leaves Mixed Wine Flight, Fireside Reds Red Wine Flight, The Forgotten Bunches Mixed Wine Flight and the almighty and an unforgettable Sparkler Flight. In this flight, I slowly savoured 3 wine sparklers at $25 total. (And no, I cannot spell savour without a "u.") These wine flights are a true value. And here are the wines in the sparkler flight: 1.) Cava 2021 by Avinyó 2.) Crémant de Bourgogne Sparkling Brut Rosé NV by Albert Bichot 3.) Lambrusco by Villa Castellazo ROTA The Cava is everything. All three were delightful and I showed up needing warm fuzzies on an evening where there was live music so the total experience was extra lovely. There is also a whiskey flight! The coffee and craft beverages selection for the fall/winter menu includes a nitro cold brew, a brown butter latte with Maldon sea salt and biscotti and a FROLA New Orleans style cold brew slushie with maple syrup and coconut cream. To any craft and coffee beverage you can add Vermont Ice Cream Coffee Liqueur or Whistle Pig Piggy Back Bourbon. Yes, please. If you are making a trip of it, catch the local bbq joint across the way from Putnam's at lunch and then visit the wine bar for drinks. Layer up, because I've been nippy there twice, and then linger over one delightful beverage after the next. Oh, and there is a charming wine shop at Putnam's with handmade gifts to peruse, as well.
