Very good spot for some snacks and drinks. The service was fast and nice. It was karaoke night, a lot of people sang very good. Fun and nice place to hangout!

First time here. Seat yourself. Which I like. Nice short menu. Mostly appetizer type food. We got onion rings which were crunchy. The sauce served with them which they should bottle. Nice and bright inside. Very clean. The waiter was awesome. Prices were cheap for these days. I recommend. Justified.

    Taco Salad Bowl $16

Disappointed with the Taco Salad Bowl for $16. It was tasty enough but very small and consisted of mainly lettuce, with two small dollops of gueccomole and sour cream and a spoonful of minced beef. Yes, I know food prices have gone up, but even so, the markup on this dish must be phenomenal.

Itsy bitsy Korean ribs for $13

I don't review places first visit, unless they're amazing or suck. SNAX is neither. I've been there 3 times and they're average. Each visit the food is not great, not bad...average. They're a little overpriced for the quality and size of portions...shrinkflation maybe? This micro sized Korean ribs order was $13. That's about $1 per bite. Also not happy about my take-out order tonight; the order had one ask: "NO CHEESE" on the burger. Our one and only request due to my spouse's lactose intolerance. We got home only to find cheese on the burger. Fail on SNAX. I want my tip back, and an air freshener for our bathroom later.

A party of 4- The Good News: The food was good . I had the Brussel Sprouts and the Shrimp Salad and both were very good. (Sorry, no photo... I was hungry). Others had a Cesar Salad and Carnitas, The Bad News: The service and wait were very sub-par. Our server was nice but I ended up going back inside (we were on the patio) on two occasions to her stirs for our drinks and then utensils for our food (after it was served). Had we waited, our food would have got cold. Secondly, we waited approximately 45-mins after ordering to get our food. The server was kind but forgot about us often. The patio gave us a nice view of the sunset Had the service been better, I would have given 4.5 stars.

I'm excited for a new place, and especially one that has a gluten-free menu. I would love if they also had gluten-free bread, and some other information. I wouldn't recommend it if you're celiac, since they don't have a dedicated fryer. But I had plenty of options and they were very nice. They also brought our take-out order to the car for us. We got a ton of things and everything was fine, nothing SO exciting that it was cravable. But I would definitely go back and try a bunch of other things and probably get the korean bbq ribs again, or a salad. The sticky shrimp, not GF was great, with just a slight kick. It definitely has a big, fun menu that is different from everything else in the upper valley. So I hope they find a following and keep honing. Thank you for keeping it safe. Good luck!

Right next to the Residence Inn. Food was very very good and a great menu. Servers working hard on a very bust Wednesday happy hour. Good selection of beer and drinks. I wish it was a little less bright inside but still very happy with this establishment.

Mixed feeling for this restaurant. Was hoping for good fries but it is burnt. Waiting is pretty fast.

Deep fried cheese melt sandwich, honey salmon, Korean BBQ ribs, curly fries, fried rice, crispy chicken fingers

We are a family of four. We stopped by one Friday evening in early August while staying at a nearby hotel (near Dartmouth Medical Center). It was the only restaurant nearby still open and it looked lively with lots of people and a good ambiance. We had been driving for hours (lots of traffic on the way) and were pleasantly surprised to find what looked like an amazing fusion menu. Service was prompt and courteous. We loved the decor and actually took some pictures (there was a huge scrabble board in the background which we find unique). The lighting and the tables were very inviting. We ordered quite a lot of food since we were hungry. Then the food arrived and we were very confused. The ingredients weren't bad but I think you have to try really hard to make such unappetizing food. 1) Fried rice was extremely salty. I'm guessing the chef might've accidentally tipped over the soy sauce bottle. It was not edible 2) Korean BBQ ribs were overly sweet. Good quality ribs but they were sweeter than desserts. Korean food has a balance of taste. This was not balanced 3) Honey salmon with snow peas tasted like dessert as well. Good portion fillets of salmon swimming in honey. I love salmon but I couldn't finish one filet 4) Crispy chicken wings were both overly sweet and overly salty. Could not eat more than one 5) Curly fries were good. A bit salty but at least they were not ruined 6) Cheese melt sandwich was deep-fried. Tasty for first bite but too rich (drenched in oil after being deep-fried). But this was the only thing we could really eat so we ate half of the sandwich After spending more than $100+, we walked away hungry, and leaving a table full of food. In summary: don't order Asian food here. The fusion food here is not done right. In full transparency: we are Asian Americans and lived in Asia for five years before returning to Boston area ~3 years ago. So we have high expectations.

Our hostess and later server, Leona, answered the phone and was extremely pleasant in letting us know she could get us seated. What a great combo!! We also split the spinach salad which was perfect for winter with dried cherries, blue cheese, candied pecans and apples. We also had the artichoke fritters which had a subtle taste of artichoke and bits of tangy lemon. We split the ginger pork meatloaf and it was a creative, delicious take on traditional meatloaf. The flavor was reminiscent of the inside of a superb Peking dumpling. The dining room was decorated with beautiful area photos and there was beautiful display of custom designed knives that could be seen in a show case on the way to the restrooms. I took a photo because it may come in handy for a future gift for some aspiring chefs in my family! Excited to add Thyme to our list of stops in between our travels to and from MA to VT.

Dinner Service was excellent and Loretta gets a shout out for her tableside manner. Manager on duty also gets a call out for accommodating my special request to slice and serve the ciabatta rolls we had just made earlier that day at King Arthur Flour. The ambiance was great, it's just sad that the food, every item we ordered whether a pasta or a short rib or a fish, were all just meh. and an expensive meh. Brunch I had higher hopes for brunch the next day given my excellent experience the last time we were in town. Should have stuck with what we ordered the last time (lobster eggs benedict, pancake, frittata, day in milan chicken sandwich). This time we ventured out and ordered the recommended duck hash which was just a bit of a mess, greasy, and not that tasty. The Day in Milan chicken sandwich was still amazing and amazingly messy to eat and the fries excellent - 5/5. But overall, most of the food we had a Pine this time was a miss.

Some dishes are, some miss the mark. Over or under cooked. Plated in a challenging way. Something listed in the description of a dish is manipulated in a way that you think it's missing from the dish. Things like that. I think they don't test their dishes enough before putting them on the menu, or it may also depend on who's in the kitchen. So it's not my FIRST choice of places in the area. If you didn't know it, you might feel as if you'd stepped into a hipster cocktail lounge in Brooklyn as you walk into Wolf Tree. They offer a variety of playful and inventive drinks. My friend was able to get a virgin cocktail but I just wish they had more than one single cocktail on the menu with vodka. With my choices somewhat limited, I went with a drink called "Friday I'm In Love": vodka, citrus, strawberry, mint, and bubbles. It looked beautiful when it arrived to the table and was a palate pleaser with sour, sweet, and minty flavors. They have weekly specials, classic-type cocktails, and what they call "happy meals" - a beer and shot combination. Don't fear, though, they still have Budweiser, Bud Lite, Miller High Life, and other draft beers for those feeling more traditional Upper Valley. We also ordered one of their charcuterie boards that featured local selections of cheese and meats, olives, pickled vegetables, cured mustards, and a baguette. A great selection but like most of Wolf Tree, a little on the expensive side. Overall I enjoyed my first trip to Wolf Tree and I'm glad hip places like this exist in the Upper Valley.
