Last night my husband and I decided to mix it up and head over to the 110 in Stratham to celebrate our 26th anniversary. It was a disappointment, but let me explain. After standing at the Host station and not having someone approach, we decided to seat ourselves at the gorgeous bar. The seats were full, it looked like a way to have fun, be served easily (for both sides), and spend time laughing with one another. Our dinner choices, Cajun Salmon for me and Fish n' Chips for my husband, were delicious. My husband's fries weren't as hot as you'd hope, but the fish was perfectly cooked. I'll attach the pics. When I ordered, I asked our waitstaff if skin was served on the salmon, and if so, could I please have it seared off prior to serving. After being told that skin wasn't served on the salmon, I was very happy to sit and enjoy my drink. When the dinners arrived, there was, in fact, skin on the salmon. Not huge, but def a thing. And now, it really became disappointing. We weren't asked if we would like something else. Happily, there was another person behind the bar who could grab some ketchup, but when my husband thought to ask for malt vinegar, we could not get anyone's attention. We then watched our waiter put on her backpack and off she went without a final check in. Our plates festered in front of us for 20 minutes before being cleared, and no...there wasn't any offer to get us something else. Ambiance? Unwelcoming. Not even a 'Hello' or 'Have a good night'. An up charge for half a Caesar Salad because I didn't want the 2 sides seemed cheap and churlish. As did the, 'So you don't want two sides?'. I have had really lovely lunches at this site, and in the dining area, but this experience has done all but negate any of the good. We all know that the hospitality industry is difficult, and finding staff even more so. I would not, however, be able to treat my colleagues in the same indifferent and uncommunicative way that our waiter gifted to us. I expect a modicum of courtesy and warmth when I choose the businesses into which I decide to invest my discretionary monies. Should you be wondering why we didn't speak to the Manager, we waited to get the attention of anyone to ask if we could speak to him. Finally, we gave up. And no, I don't believe that it's on us to get up and chase down a wait person. We walked out feeling less than. And that should never have been the case. read more

My wife had the chicken on the menu. Even with a steak knife, she couldn't cut the chicken, Terrible, the chef should be fired for serving this meal. At the beginning, 3 items on the menu, they didn't have.. Our second visit & will be our last. No class. read more

The steak and cheese sandwich was inedible. It appears that the entire sandwich was microwaved. Roll was rock hard , steak had a strange texture and the cheese was overwhelming and like molten lava. read more

Enjoyable spot to grab a bite. Very nice service and cozy atmosphere. The Caesar salad we/shrimp was very tasty and the Burger equally as well. The Philly steak sandwich while good was a little light on steak. Would return. read more

3 of us stopped for lunch in Stratham 110 Grill. We each ordered a glass of ice tea for drinks with our lunch. The food we ordered was very good the waitress was indifferent. I dont think she wanted to be there. When the bill arrived we were charged $18 for 3 glasses of ice tea. Considering the ice in the glass we really each got a half of glass of tea. I spoke with the Manager and asked if there was a mistake on the price of the tea. He was not interested to what I was concerned about. I also mention that the price of the drink was not listed on the menu. He just shrugged his shoulders and stood there looking at me. Beware of what you order from 110 grill, the BIG RIP OFF JOINT. You lost 3 customers all over a glass of ice tea. Both the waitress and manager need to get some people skills. read more

My teenaged granddaughter and I recently lunched at the 110 Grill in Stratham. Seated immediately at lovely table where ambience was quaint and quiet allowing us to converse and savor our time together. Female Server was top notch!! Professional but not "stodgy", accommodating but not "condescending", constant but not "intrusive" and ALWAYS smiling; made us feel that WE truly mattered and she honestly appreciated her position of being a 110 Grill wait- staff member. FOOD was phenomenal! My 110 Cuban (sandwich) was LARGE , FULL of ingredients and flavorful. Granddaughter had Mac-n-cheese. It presented well, pasta was "al dente" and cheese sauce was smooth, rich but not "overpowering". Of course, we also had to have the 110 Grill French fries !!! Pure perfection! We were here last week and the food was terrible. Other locations are far better. The waitress was overwhelmed with 4 tables on a Tuesday and forgot drinks, sides and a to go order through out the meal. The food itself featured an overcooked vegetable noodle dish and passable fish tacos with a side of flavorless and unseasoned rice and popped a billn of more than $50 bucks for the two. Sometimes you just want to be spontaneous and go out to dinner with your loved one. Not at this place. Being a long time resident in Stratham we can tell when the 110 is busy or not. We decided to roll the dice and give 110 at try. The parking lot was half full and looked like our chances were good. Not till we met Bruno at the host stand. As we entered the building we noticed that the outside was half full, the inside was moderately full and there was just hand full of people at the bar. Well, Bruno said no, you have to wait for a table. I said, it seems fairly quiet, why the wait? My manger said to. 20-30 minute wait. Not an offer to sit at the bar or even eat or let me check with my manger to see what I can do. Nothing, zilch, nod-a was offered. Hey 110, there are a lot of options out there. We drove down the street and sat down at your competitor's. 110, your host is the face of your restaurant. If you're greeted with a frown and negativity, we're not coming back. I'm not angry, but I am disappointed. I think the batter they use for any fried item (Calamari, Fried Pickles and Hot Chicken Sandwich) is probably corn meal based and way under seasoned. The past two times I've been to this location. Has been horrible. Tonight I ordered take out and the waitress forgot to put in the order. So after I drove 30 mins I left with nothing. Last time I was there I walked in to slow unreliable service. No one was working together and all tables were dirty. I went to eat at 110 Grill in Stratham with my husband and two children, Pam was our waitress. To say she was amazing is an understatement. Both my children have severe allergies, and we have allergy identification cards. Not only does she write down all of the allergies she brings the cards to management to keep at the window to ensure nothing is forgotten. Service was ok. Food portions were lacking considering the prices. Had the Crab Rangoon dip as a starter. Dip was delicious but their choice of what to dip with was questionable. It was mostly potato chips dusted with bay seasoning. Taste was ok but the chips were soft like they were damp or stale. A better choice would have been a fried wonton or even a toasted pita chip. Wife order fried clams. Not bad. Batter was nice but shoestring fries is a McDonalds move. Also came with Cole slaw about a cups worth. More on that below... I had fish and chips. A small filet of fish. Nice batter but again, a small portion of fish combined with a small portion of shoestring fries and a tablespoon full of Cole slaw for $21 bucks. Really? Double the portion of fish, add some real sized chips (not freaking shoestrings), and a real portion of slaw. The slaw seemed more like a garnish there was so little. How can you mess up on a fish and chips in New Hampshire? Probably will not return there. read more

Passing through the Exeter area for the first time in many years and a lot has changed. On the other hand a shortage of restaurants especially open at night is still the same as when I grew up here 30 years ago. I'm trying to remember what was located in the spot where 110 Grill is- a trite shop? A grove of pine trees? Either way it was not here when I last drive by. Props to 110 for being open somewhat late- I think we were the last folks seated on a Sunday night at 8. I had the burger which wasn't bad and the Brussels sprouts surprisingly good- but slightly soggy. My daughter loved the Mac and cheese and finished all her fries. Service was great. read more

We ordered two raspberry iced teas which came in a 12 ounce glass with 6 ounces of ice in it and they charged us six dollars a drink. To me that's completely outrageous. Every time we come to 110 Grill, we end up saying, "We'll never go back there again." But somehow we ended up back there again this evening. Apparently we're dumb. The waitstaff at their Stratham, NH location have all outward appearances of having been completely beaten down by the constant disappointment this place serves up to customers. You want to know how a server feels about their job? See whether they make eye contact with customers as they walk around. 110 Grill staff avoids eye contact unless absolutely required. From the time we sat down, it took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. We ordered drinks, which took another 10 minutes to arrive. We declined appetizers because we didn't have all night and ordered entrees when the drinks came. 40 minutes later, 3 of our table's 4 entrees arrived. 5 minutes after that, the 4th arrived. In 110 Grill terminology, "no pickles" apparently means "hide the pickles underneath the meat so the customer will be really surprised when they bite into them." At any rate, we won't be coming back. Delicious Dinner Spot Wait times can be a little despising. But the food is amazing. I get the same thing everyone i go which is the 110 Grill Special, Tuna, Avocado & Cucumber. This is something they do right between the different textures and flavors of sweet & savory everything in this dish pairs perfectly together leaving you delighted! After dinner i recommend the Peanut butter cascade that is vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cups and hot fudge that makes you satisfied with your whole entire experience! read more

Just awful. The wait staff is horrible, the food is blah. Every time we go, (maybe once a year), we remember why we don't go very often. The portions were surprisingly small, and I think we either had a new server or just a not so good server. A FEW of the orders were entirely wrong (found out later it was for another table). Since my first review two years ago, I'm sad to say, we've had some mediocre experiences here... but tonight was an exception. Ariel was an extraordinarily attentive server (who plays volleyball on a pro-team out of Manchester. Who knew??), our steak was perfectly cooked, our drinks were spot on, and the flourless chocolate cake (substituted salted caramel for hot fudge) was delicious! Thank you, Ariel and team. This place is + has become an "over-priced" Applebee's. Not good value at all with excessive and very obvious portion control policies. For the prices being charged - definitely expected more. Maybe "just maybe" got 3 scoops (spoonfulls) in my cup of clam chowder via our takeout order. Minimal amount of steak as topper for salad, minimal amount of chicken as topper for wife's salad. We had a lovely first visit tonight to 110 Grill! The food was outstanding and the service was amazing. Our waitress was Diane and she was so helpful. As soon as we sat down she explained to us the amazing rewards program so we could get signed up. It will be well worth having now that we know about what a great place this is! We haven't visited for upwards of a year so we decided to go for a late lunch today. Arrived around 2 pm and were seated promptly as it wasn't very busy. Waited about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged at our table, our server was apologetic saying there was some confusion as to who had our table. We ordered the calamari appetizer and 2 seltzer waters which came out fairly promptly. Then it went downhill from there. My husband had the chicken caprese entree, the fried chicken breast was thin and seemed overcooked as it was dried out and hard to chew. It came with a side salad, the lettuce was wilted and drenched in balsamic dressing. I had what used to be my favorite dish there - the kale Brussel salad - with seared ahi tuna on the side. The salad was very bland and honestly I think it had been sitting in the refrigerator for a day or two, it didn't taste fresh and was soggy. I left half of the salad and pieces of tuna as they were chewy and didn't seem freshly prepared either. My husband left almost half of his meal also. All in all, except for the calamari appetizer which was good, the meal was a huge disappointment, especially to the tune of $78 plus tip for an app and two entrees (server was nice so we gave her 20% as the bad food wasn't her fault). I now see there are several poor reviews on Yelp. With all the good restaurants in this area, I hope you will up your game and improve your food dramatically or you won't survive. DON'T GET TAKEOUT!!! I really, really want to love this restaurant because the food is great... but no, no, no. When you get takeout, order accuracy is routinely an issue and the portion size is considerably less- boooooo! The past two times I'be called in my order, the orders weren't actually entered, so when I showed up to get my food 30-minutes later I had to sit at the bar while the food was made. While the hostesses/servers in both cases were VERY apologetic, that does not give me back the time. In neither case was I offered a beverage while I waited nor did the Manger come over. I paid full price in both instances. Zero service recovery. Booooooo! Again, I really want to love this place, but clearly they don't care about meeting the basic expectations of their guests... like making the food. (One positive to having to wait was that I got to hear a server talk trash about management. I recommend you treat your people better or you're just going to be more understaffed.) read more

I would give 2.5 stars ... my daughter had the fish and chips and was pleased with the fish. Very good sized portion and cooked well. Good flavor and texture. I had the pomegranate rack of lamb with fingerling potatoes and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto - it was good but not worth the price. The waitress told me there would be 4 chops; there were 3 ... tiny chops. They were cooked perfectly and were tasty just not a decent portion. The fingerling potatoes had no real flavor except overdone rosemary and the asparagus was one set of 3 very small and overly cooked spears wrapped in a sliver of prosciutto ... the Malbec wine was flavorful. The atmosphere is nice and the place, while full, was not noisy ... The waitstaff was very nice and professional. We might give it another try but, maybe not for a while.
