The hubby and stopped here just for some home cooked traditional dinners. It was good, perfectly proportioned, and very reasonably priced. Service was very good and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing. Average nose level. Very clean. Bar restaurant decor with big screen TV's. Lots of regulars. The hubby said the salmon is the best. read more

Both meals ordered had little to no seasonings. My husband's steak was cooked ok, but was tough as hell. He couldn't finish it.

We stopped in for an early dinner and we were seared right away.The staff was very nice they also have handicapped access. It was definitely an outdated restaurant inside . We ordered the the new pretzel bites which were very good. Also ordered the steak tips and mashed potatoes and the new turkey but sub unfortunately the pizza made it look like a roasted turkey it was a very wet turkey roll . Unfortunately I could not eat it but our waiter was very nice I reordered a Cabot cheddar burger and it was delicious. We also had desert the apple crisp it was good not my fav but my cousin loved it .. All in all it was a good experience. We came to sit at the bar and have their Salmon. We've done it before and found it to be the best. I like their dry spice mix and my buddy likes the balsamic drizzle. I appreciate the veggie choices: you can pay extra for the grilled asparagus I like with my fish. Unfortunately, I can't get out of there for under $70 for just my dinner and a (smaller) wine. Larger portions would make me happier. I ate at the first 99 in MA in the 1970s and like that once you eat there, you know what to expect at all of them wherever they have sprung up over the years. Consistency! Even the "kid" bartender when Seabrook opened 30 years ago IS STILL THERE! (How can you forget a guy named Danger?) Management is doing something very right. First, let me say that the service I received here was exceptional. It was relatively busy and I was still acknowledged and taken care of quickly by the bartender. The food I ordered just was not great. The sirloin was chewy and I was only able to actually consume maybe 1/4 of it, and the sides were bland. We stopped after shopping for lunch, ordered a combo steak tip and fried shrimp to share. The order came exceptionally fast, not sure how they cooked steak tips that fast. Given we ordered them med rare, they were easily med - well. They used to be best around years ago but now were more pepper vs the teriyaki they did in the past. The shrimp were good however. Service very good. Beer selection didnt include craft local beers and given the amount of breweries in NH we were surprised. Probably opt for Applebees in the future. read more

Great food at great prices. I was doing some shopping in the area with my mother and before heading back home we stopped by for a quick dinner. We were seated almost immediately even though it was a busy Sunday evening. The waitress came by our table and dropped off some popcorn to munch on and some water to drink as we looked over the menu. We both decided to order the same meals and what we got was the Country Chicken Dinner which is basically a fried chicken cutlet topped with gravy. It came with cranberry sauce, a biscuit and one side. I opted for the mashed potatoes and my mother got the corn. We both really enjoyed our meals. The value for the money here is excellent. They give you plenty of food at a reasonable price. The dining room was comfortable to eat in and they kept it very well heated on a cold New England winter evening. The server was efficient and got our dinners out to us quickly. If you're looking for great service and excellent food then look no further! read more

I had such a lovely lunch experience here with my wife and her grandparents. In the week between Christmas and New Year's there was a short wait for a table, only a few minutes. We were seated in a comfortable booth and treated to exceptional service by Heather, who kept our water and soda topped off throughout the meal and played along with Papa's many jokes. I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to the meal because the ambiance is very "sports bar," but felt more like a family restaurant that everyone could enjoy. The menu was surprisingly extensive and oh my, it was tasty. My broccoli cheddar soup was thick and not watery at all and the chicken caesar salad was massive and didn't skimp on the croutons and chicken. We had such a delightful and tasty lunch that I'm sure we will be back the next time we're in town to visit! read more

If I were just to rate the menu & food - I'd give it a 3. (3.5) Very standard, consistent to all 99 restaurants. All Star Burger was large and tasty. Nothing spectacular with food or drinks (another member of the party had two different drinks that were unpleasant) The primary waitress hit or miss... accommodating and friendly enough, but failed to bring a second drink order and had to ne reminded a couple times. The 99 restaurants brought back their prime rib on Friday and Saturday after 4pm and Sunday all day. We went to their Seabrook, NH restaurant today. Great meal. We ordered the rib medium rare. It was 16 oz and cooked perfectly. Fork tender. I had the mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. My wife had the grilled asparagus and a salad. Really good salad and vegetables. Can't say enough. I hope it works out for them. To be honest, except for the burgers and an occasional Royal Sirloin, we had kind of backed off going there. Not that the food was bad, it had become run of the mill. Their regular menu needed a kick in the backside. But that prime rib. Wow!!! read more

This 99 Restaurant does a lot of fundraising for local organizations including Boys and Girls Clubs. That is outstanding to say the least because there aren't many restaurants that do any fundraising. This restaurant is a favorite for us. Parking lot is huge off Route 1. Walk in the door and greeted with a friendly receptionist. Of course expect to be busy during peak hours. You receive a buzzer when that takes place and put on a waiting list. Right side upon entrance is more quiet seating. The left side can be noisier because it is in same area as the bar which has tv's and always a group in there watching a game. We ordered the ultimate nachos with everything in the side. Was a nice plate. Had the Balsamic Chicken with rice and broiled broccoli tonight with the side of honey barbecue. The honey barbecue wasn't all that great tonight either. So next time I will skip that option. It was a bit too harsh. The food is very good, very friendly staff and will to help. read more

Took my sons ID and friends ID and grabbed their ID and credit cards and with any communication. Not professiona, very bad service and so disappointing to a location we are lucky to be at once a year. It was my first experience with this chain and it was a good one! We happen to be staying just down the road and spotted this restaurant first. This location has a large dining area as well as a large bar. Complimentary popcorn bowls are served on each table. Service was good and very friendly. Our waitress mentioned one of the specials being a lobster roll. Sounds perfect to me! You had the option for cold lobster mixed with mayo or hot lobster in butter. Both would be served on a toasted roll. I opted for the hot lobster. It was plenty packed into the roll and full of flavor. If the lobster roll wasn't enough, it was served with a small cup of clam chowder, coleslaw and loaded mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese? Of course it was good and stood out among the sides. If you aren't familiar with 99 restaurant chain like me, I would compare it to an Applebee's or Friday's type chain. We go every weekend. Today we go in and we want a seat at bar but busy because GAME SO WE DECIDE TO JUST TAKE A BOOTH. SHE TAKES ALL THE information and we have approximately 5 steps and now she's rude and says my mask has to be over my nose but the whole time talking to me i had it Just in between nose and covering my mouth . I have a medical problem and i tried to tell her but she was really disrespectful and so my husband said we were out of there. We will not be returning and that is sad . We went to 99 in Seabrook. We've been there before but won't be back. The hostess was nasty because I found the booth uncomfortable and wanted a different one. We had asked for a booth not a high table but this booth was less roomy than the others. We were very polite about the request but she didn't like it. she said " you can't just sit at a hightop? " so we did take the nearest one even though at our age of was difficult to get into. Apparently the table we chose was not one the waitress was happy with. She, Trina, was rude as well. Very serious and businesslike never smiled. She was short, and the service was horrible. she forgot my soup. Never checked back with us once our food finally came. Waited forever for our check. Less than one star! Dinner last night was a disaster. Arrived as a group of six at 8:10 and were seated at approximately 8:45. We were given 2 menus, for 6 dinner guests.??? The server took our drink order and when she came back to our table and we weren't quite ready she informed us that the kitchen was closing. This restaurant closes at 11 normally. We ordered and the food was delivered pretty promptly. We then tried to order a 2nd round of drinks and were told the bar was closed. We asked why we weren't told and she said they don't let guests know per policy??? What??? At this point we are all annoyed. And then we were treated to Stephanie. She needs to reconsider her vocation. She escalated the situation to idiocy. She was rude, accusatory, and I'd had enough of whatever she was selling. Complete and total jerk. She walked off and then we get another "manager". She drones on about COVID and just basic bs. So to recap: They should have advised when we were seated these pieces of information: 1- restaurant is closing at 9 tonight folks 2- this includes drink orders (which is bizarre but whatever) 3-we can only provide 2 menus (btw they said "technically they were only supposed to get one" WHAT WHAT WHAT????? 4-basically we are selling food but we are abandoning the idea of enjoying dinner with friends. So come here, eat and screw!!!!!!! The 99 should be ashamed. We have been going here since they opened and won't be rushing back. I have 99 reasons NOT TO GO BACK. Came in with a friend for a burger and a cocktail after shopping. She is celiac and has been for many years. The 99 offers a large selection of gluten free options for her and she quite enjoyed the burger. The waitress was knowledgeable about celiac disease and answered all of her questions. My Cheddar burger was yummy and we left very happy. On a side note, my man LOVES the baked scrod. He has it almost every Friday for lunch. read more

Mickey was amazing. You can tell she truly loves what she does, as a server myself, I can tell when someone genuinely cares about their customers and she most definitely does! She pre bussed at any moment she could, everyone's drinks were constantly filled and she kept us updated when our food was coming. We're patient people, we didn't care about waiting, we get that, that's why you go out to eat, but it was very nice for her to do especially being busy with other tables and looking to be short staffed of servers. My husband and I were here recently. We had no problem with our server or food. What we did have a problem with was the elderly hostess. She saw one of her old lady friends sitting near us and all they did was dish about anything and everything. Hello that hostess was supposed to be working. She was not. Instead her and her elderly friend disrupted our meal as they were both loud and rude. When you're bored and drunk, where else would you go on a Sunday night? Why the Ninety Nine in good ol Seabrook, NH of course. Being slightly inebriated, I chose to stick to the munchies....which is quite possibly the greatest idea I've ever had after tasting my friend's food. We all started off with the signature French Onion Soup which is quite tasty but not as good as Bugaboo's. From there we moved on to the gold fever wings.....the greatest food ever invented minus the innate possibility of it most likely containing transfats and other fats that aren't humanly digestable. Only one person got a meal which I unfortunately had the opportunity of tasting. The chicken masala. ICK! I would not feed it to starving children....or even the labs rats at work for that matter. It was not a masala sauce....it was beef gravy with a few mushrooms. But then again who was the idiot that ordered chicken masala at the Ninety Nine......not me thats for f'in sure. Our waiter was nice enough to go get her a steak after we declared the chicken unfit for consumption by any living organism. While the food wasn't the greatest...the company and drinks were, making this experience better than it probably was. read more

Was lucky enough to eat lunch at the 99 restaurant for three straight days. Couldn't get enough of it. Had different items every day. Love the three course combo for around $14. It was quite pleasant. Lobster Mac was good, the salads were good, and the shish kebabs were good. We sampled all three desserts the mini ones, in three days and they were great too. Looking forward to coming back to Boston and visiting this restaurant. read more

The nachos as an appetizer were awesome I highly recommend the guacamole. Our waitress was awesome and filled our orders promptly and her food recommendations were great! I'll be back. The 99 is a staple. Open late, big menu, plenty of tvs, crowd pleaser. You know it. Not sure if we've just been at odd times, but we've never waited for a table here. Always good to have a place you don't have to wait. The service is friendly and fun. read more
