This Karaoke spot is always popular among Asians. Cant lie this place is always packed on a Friday and saturday nights. Want to know why that is? It is because of under age drinking. They have bouncers that dont even care, if you look above the age of 21 or if your a super hot girl or even if you are simply just Asian they let you in without checking ids. This is what i have witness in the past, i am not sure about now but i wouldn't be surprised if it was still going on. The service suck in this karaoke spot. The staffs are very rude and have attitude problems. i do understand why they got attitude problems but still people are there to enjoy themselves and have a good time. I've been coming to 100fun for the last 6 years for karaoke! Great for last minute plans with your friends and affordable rates (except after 9PM to closing is more expensive; like most other karaoke places) What I like about 100 fun is the the of room can use for food or drink in the menu (like most other Chinese karaoke stores), they have promotions such as Sunday-Thursday after 9PM it's half price and the convenient location (between Fort Hamilton and 8 AV on N line) Do expect to smell like cigarettes when you leave and don't expect too much from their so-so customer services. read more

Just went there last night and they changed a the system. Back then they had an "okay" selection of music. Now? There are no remotes so anyone who wants to pick a sound has to get up, move around the tiny walk spaces to get to the front where the touch screen is. Touch screen is laggy. They lost a bunch of songs. They didn't have Hotel California! How can any ktv place not have that song!? They fucked up the lyrics of many songs they used to have the correct lyrics for, such as My Girl by the temptations. (CHECK YOUR BILL TWICE BEFORE YOU PAY) I've been many many times to this place and never had a problem or maybe it's just i didn't know that they sometimes do this: last time i went, i asked for a mini room and well they got me and my friend a mini room. I started to sing at exactly 8:00PM on a Wednesday one day before thanksgiving(that means that i am in happy hour time that means would cost me 10$/hr) as you can see in their website they say it from 2PM to 9PM is happy hour. After 9PM is 20$/hr. So i went on and sang until 12AM. So that means four hours. The first hour should be 10$ + 3hr(20$) = 70$ right? But when i asked for the bill they gave me a bill of 95$ somehow, and i didnt get that much snacks!. The snacks that i order was within the price. So i asked why they didnt say anything and just gave me another bill for 80$ plus tax (87$) then i paid them that amount. Sorry i couldn't take picture of the bill with the amount of 95$. Cuz i was shocked. But still it was supposed to be 70$ plus tax. So it was a unsatisfied experience. read more

A couple of years ago this place was super popular . But over the years it's gone waaaaay downhill. When you walk in the smell of smoke is crazy and when you leave you smell so stinky. The service is kind of rude you call them and first they take their sweet time to come even though it's empty and then they give you an attitude and roll their eyes . Maybe they are under the impression that if they roll their eyes and it's fairly dark that people won't notice but we do. 2 floor karoke place with both the latest chinese and english hits. They have small/med/ and large rooms available. I was able to get a small room for 4 of us. even for small, it was pretty big. i would say we could've fitted easily 2-3 more people. It was $50/Hr and we were able to get food/drinks upto the amount of time we spent there. We stayed for 1 and 1/2 hrs and spent about $25/per person....not bad for a hassle-free, fun night. read more

Came here for my birthday and this was the second time I've been here overall. We planned this several weeks in advance and gave them the amount of people coming and they gave a few options. We asked if the 'medium' room would fit comfortably the amount of people coming and they said yes. For anyone reading the medium room fits about 10-12 people at most comfortably. To think that 17 people would fit and not be either a) sitting on top of each other or b) extremely uncomfortably close is INSANE. They confirmed this over the phone when we called as well as when we went in person. It was EXTREMELY hot (and we went in early June. Not yet 80 degree weather on that day) in the room, and we asked multiple times if they could move us into a cooler room/bigger room where we could actually fit, or if they could raise the AC. They made a face when we asked and brushed us off about the AC. Concerning the room they said they only had another room bigger than this and it was a massive price increase. Had they legitimately told us that 17 people wouldn't fit in the medium room, and been up front about their upgraded price, we could've considered it from the beginning or looked for a different place. I guess this is their tactic to just get any and all customers to give them their money even if their experience sucks. Who cares, they already got our money. Also they may seem to be a bit racist/prejudiced. They speak English perfectly fine but on both occasions I've been here I brought an asian friend and when I personally addressed one of their employees they would ignore me and speak in a different language to my friend. That's completely disrespectful and not very customer service oriented. The drinks are watered down, super expensive (even for NY prices) and bad customer service makes me really think I'm probably never coming back. Oh and we had paid until midnight. At 11pm they came down to tell us our time was up. We all knew we had until midnight. We had to come to speak to the manager to make sure that we had the correct timing. Um no, maybe YOU should check that we had the proper time instead of making one of us lose 10 minutes of their paid time to 'make sure' of your mistake. The only reason i go there is the people i go there with, otherwise...never in my life i'd be there. Some of the rooms are extremely stuffy and hot, gets real gross with a room full of people. The song list is pretty limited compared to many other karaoke bars, they'll have the trendy ones, but if you want other less popular songs by the same artists, don't have your hopes up for that at all. Drinks are way too expensive, $150 for a bottle or something, and it's never enough. with mixers or chasers... $16 or something for a bottle. flipping insane prices... The usual bill (when i go with 12+ people) will come up to $400 or more, for 3'ish hours of karaoke...singing the same songs...and drinking..not that much liquor. They have different sizes of rooms to accommodate the size of your party...prices are different when its day time and night time....i cant remember how much it was in the day time..but i think the night time is about $25/hr correct me if i am wrong...in addition, you can order food and drinks under your balance...so if you are planning to sing for an 1 hr...then you can order up to $25 dollars worth of food, if you go over, then you will be charge extra.... They have a wide variety of songs in Chinese, their English section is ok..but their Korean and Japanese section is rather weak. If you come here often enough....you will probably be given a VIP card which will give you a discount towards your bill....=) read more

My friends booked the giant room located at the second floor; it has a small karaoke section connected to a patio and outdoor space with TVs , chairs, and barstools and easily fit 30 people. Not a bad karaoke place. It's too "asian" for my taste though. I prefer Duet in Manhattan more than this place. Their stupid dice games are too loud and too distracting, especially when you're the one that's singing. The food is not bad. One star for that. You get to order food and drinks up to the price of the room. That's pretty worth it. They only have snacks though.. so you have to have enough people in the room to order a lot of food because they're all tiny portions. They do have a good selection of English songs.. Another star for that. Duet has more though and more up to date with their songs. The machine is ANNOYING to use! First of all, it's all in Chinese. Second of all, you actually have to sit there and scroll through each page on the machine to put in your songs. Of course you want to choose as many as you can so you don't have to sit there and scroll through everything again.. but that means when your songs come up, ALL of them plays in a row.. meaning never-ending singing on your part, which pretty much makes you the mic hog. Probably my favorite ktv location because it is so cheap and has the best collection of Asian music! Location is humongous they have a lower level as well. The bathrooms are not too bad but so tiny. The sound system is good and they have touchscreen for song selection - as compared to books of song names in some locations in midtown. So outdated. Food is cheap Costco deep fried crap that is overpriced above manhattan rates. Drinks also that way. The waitresses do not know English or common drinks besides beer so if you ask for whiskey neat they will screw it up and charge you. The bartenders are better through experience. Now the good. My friends and I were in there for about 1.5 hours on Saturday night and it only cost $65, and that included 2 bubble teas, 1 hot tea, 1 Heineken, 1 long island iced tea, a bottle of water, and a seemingly endless bowl of chips. The video's they played behind the songs mostly had nothing to do with the music, which made it all the more hilarious. It was pretty packed by the time we left (about 1 am), mostly with locals, and underaged kids. But definitely a great find so far into Brooklyn. I've been drinking in the Chinese bars for... let's just say years, that even owners and bouncers knows that my friends and I, well, that we're quite the generous kind of tippers. So first off we walked in asking for the price of VSOP. They have a kid (is he even 21?) at the door tell us $190 for a bottle and well, we were going to walk cause around the block, it's $135 with Green Tea included. Here, it was +$18/bottle for green tea. Spoke with the bouncer, and they said it's B1G1. Confirmed with the kid so we sat down and ordered 2 bottles with 2 bottles of green tea and started drinking. Not even 1 pitcher in, they have another kid walk over just to ask us "if we ordered". My friend pointed at the bottles, uh, of course we ordered. Then he proceeds with telling us that, "Oh btw, you know those bottle are $260 B1G1". Okay, so I asked the kid who sat us and he said, "Oh I thought it was $190, but it actually starts at $190 and can go up to $500 a bottle depending what you order. VSOP is $260. I gave you a menu and thought you would look at it before ordering..." Uhm, excuse me, we walked in asking specifically about VSOP, you said $190 and so we ordered. Why would we even look at the menu? Asked for his manager and watched him walked to his manager to speak with him. Guess what? His manager never came. So we continued drinking and halfway through the bottle, we asked another kid to speak with his manager, and he said, "Oh he's busy, he'll come around later." And I asked, "Will he be over here before we finished the (first) bottle?" He gave me a smile, shrugged, and left. Okay, still never came, BUT THE BOSS WALKS IN. Mind you, this is all within the first hour we've arrived. So since no manager came to solve our problem, I went directly to the boss to explain what happened. I didn't put names down, but apparently that don't matter. And guess what? The manager was suddenly "free" to address the problem? Lol he claimed, no one ever told him so he didn't know and that's why he never walked over. I told the boss to check the cams, cause he definitely knows that 2 people assisted us and we saw one of them go up to him and talk to him. I told the boss, "If we walked in and you told us $260 off the back, it would've been fine. But your workers told us $190 and another coworker told us $260 AFTER we popped the bottle. That's not fair -- it's a $70 difference! We've been drinking at these bars for years, and that is just not how you do business." He cooperated (I guess) with an angry face and said he will check the cameras to find out who messed up and that he will take care of the bill. He apologized and said he will fix the problem. He really did seem sincere. Next thing you know, manager walks over with a pitcher. I asked him what it was and he said, "It's free, on the house, and we will take care of the bill. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn't know." Whatever. Pitcher was strong, but not even remotely close to how we make our pitchers. So apparently, they thought we will be drunk off 2 bottles and THAT pitcher cause when the bill came, it was the $260 + $36 (2 x $18/bottle) = $296 + tax = 321 and change. LOLOL they're SO CUTE, that they think we'd be drunk and can G us like that! Okay, fine. We already expected the worse, but we gave them the benefit of doubt and one of my friends said the boss will give us 25% off, GUARANTEED. I even said the boss was nice and probably just charge us $190 for the 2 bottles. But obviously, neither of that happened. 2 bottles and a pitcher and they wanna play games. So we joined them and paid exactly $321. And guess what? Of course they knew LOL cause a guy walks over and asked if he can count before we leave, and I said go for it, but we leaving. He followed us out and said, "Oh, so there's no tip?" Like honestly? Really? We technically gave you $70 tip to make up for the difference in the bottle that you guys LIED to us about. And I said, "No. Your buddy (pointed at him cause he walked out with him) told us the wrong price. You guys did nothing to fix it. That's all we're paying." And now, the buddy, Mat (can't even have a real English name), who was playing innocent and apologetic the whole time has the audacity to tell me, "don't point fingers." I literally laughed. After a few more back and forth, my friends told me to just leave. Friends are always right at times like this, so I listened and left. Like honestly, have our $70 and never our business again. In conclusion, this business is a SCAM. Why put up with this? Just go somewhere else. Don't let this business live on. I have been here several times and recently I went on Saturday it was pretty busy I had a big party I also called and made reservations and while I was entering they ask me to pay for the full 3 hours and service /gratuity fee up front. This was shocking because I never experience that ever. My friend who was an attorney was there and ask a few questions. They express that their policy had changed which wasn't expressed while making the reservation or on their website. As we were getting clarification then security came and made it seem like there was a big issue when it wasn't. I was pretty embarrassed. They also ask for us to pay a service fee/gratuity up front which was odd. I've never been to a place that has done that. We had a big party and of course with big parties u always have folks who are a few mins late. They only take one card so everyone had to send me their money. I even had to pay for my friends who were finding parking. I prefer to pay at the end. Just my experience! The food was okay drinks was meh. Place looks pretty but I'm not coming back. I used to go here all the time when I was in high school. The sound quality seems to get worse each time I go. The microphones never seem to be charged and the staff can be rude at times. The perk about this place is that the amount you spend on karaoke is the same amount of credit you can spend on food and the range of items on the menu are decent. The waitress stood and counted the cash in front of us and demanded 20%. If this is a requirement they should have written it on the menu or somewhere else. The drink selection is par-ly priced for manhattan, and but the juice drinks are moderate. The alcoholic drinks are a waste of money and very weak. Rooms are small and huge depending on what you pay for and unfortunately how often you go here and know the staff. ***Ppl get drunk and rowdy around 2AM, so leaving early around 2-3 is a good idea. Only knock on this place. Songs are somewhat up to date. I really think its a steal when you pay 40 per hour which includes alcoholic drinks and decent food.
