From the bright, neon, cyberpunk-y decor that reminds me of NYE in Chongqing, to the amazing selection of Asian tunes that cover everything from Hindi to Malay--it was like the UN threw a music festival and every Asian was invited. Plus, how can you not love a room for 15 people costing only $60/hour? And the cost counts as a credit toward food/drink, essentially ensuring free bites and sips for the whole party? This place has potential. There are things I liked and some I didn't. First, the payment policy. I have an issue with being required to pay a tip before the service even starts. They make you pay for the night plus the tip before you can even order food or get instructions on how the night will go. That didn't sit right with me. I spoke to the manager, and they said it's their policy and we couldn't participate until the service fee was paid. I ended up paying because I was with a group and didn't want to mess up the night trying to prove a point, but if I wasn't, I would've left. Second, the food selection is very minimal, and I wasn't a fan of anything I tried. I had fried chicken, fries, and a spring roll. Everything was greasy. Now back to the mandatory service fee. After paying, the only time staff really checked on us was to tell us how much time we had left. If we needed anything, we had to press a button to request service. They didn't come by on their own. So it's hard to justify paying $65 for that level of service. On a positive note, the rooms were nice, and the karaoke part was fun. One suggestion: invest in a better karaoke system. Searching songs on YouTube and finding karaoke versions worked, but it would be a much better experience with a more streamlined and visually appealing setup. The service itself, once we called them, was fine--they were nice, and they even extended our time a little past what we were supposed to have. Would I recommend it? Maybe...if you don't mind paying the service fee upfront and you're not going for the food. If you're hungry, I'd suggest trying a different spot with better food options. read more

The atmosphere was lively. The room was a little tight, and I do wish there had been a coat closet. Some of the food was a bit greasy, but the drinks were definitely strong. Good karaoke and they run a tight ship. Went here on a Saturday night at 9:30 pm and assumed we would be turned back but it was the total opposite. We were able to secure two hours of amazing karaoke and were given access to the coolest rooms equipped with mics lights and control pad to request service and control lights and the screen to search for songs on YouTube. You must be 21 and over to get in as they serve alcohol I would say the not so best part was the food. Everything is fried and not well thought out. A group of us came here for a birthday on a Tuesday. The place is huge with a lot of rooms. We started with a smaller size room and asked to be moved to a bigger room since we were so many. The second room was much better. They brought out a bottle of Dusse and tequila with some juices. For food, they brought out a tray of French fries and wings. We all devoured the food. We drank both bottles and went to the bar to take more shots. Shots were $9. Each person in our party paid $60 for karaoke. Karaoke was a lot of fun. We all had a good time. This is definitely a spot that will mark up your bill and hit you over the head with fees if you're not paying attention. The karaoke selection is just OK. Some of the songs dont have videos and other songs don't have lyrics on the screen (no lyrics! at karaoke!) I went with a group of friends and we had the best time because we were together, drinking, dancing and singing, and its hard not to have a good time when all those things are in place. The cons- the food was gross. The drinks were 100% watered down and Im fairly certain were just sour mix with seltzer water. The service was mediocre. Not terrible, but not exactly the best either. If you have a fabulous group of friends who kinda want to karaoke and dont care much about specifics, this place will do just fine. I used to go to 100fun back in the day, for over a decade for friends' birthdays and just to hang out after dinner with friends. I remember liking this place a lot, but I have not been back until recently. My review is based on my most recent visit. The AC in the room we had was not working properly, so the room was a bit hot, but me and my friends still had a great time. Food and drinks are covered up to the amount you spent on the room. I never give any establishment zero stars but this place deserves no stars and all bad reviews. Why do they fool you with nice exterior and interior designs with neon lights and cool vibes just for them to be all rude and greedy? All they care about is "Your tip is not enough." If tips are that important to the workers please just charge gratuity on the bill. If not, then we know management is not on this and the workers are just making customers tips.. on no service? I was disappointed that our group of 8 was placed in a very tight karaoke room. There was barely any room to move around and the room felt very hot. FORCED TIPPING WITH NO ACTUAL SERVICE The front desk forced me to pay a minimum of 20 percent tip even though i was not given any service. They also did not notify me about the tipping the entire time I was there and even after I had payed. The front desk only called me when I was about to leave. The front desk staff was also very very rude, constantly rolling her eyes and speaking in an obnoxious manner when we inquired why there was an extra fee to pay. read more

ANTI-BLACK staff and according to the security, so is the owner. Came for a night out to celebrate my baby sis' birthday but instead was treated like my service didn't matter. The bartender committed fraud by writing in the final amount on bills before people could tip and the wait staff ignored us. On one instance when my sister asked a question an employee looked at my sister like she was an alien from out of space. Pretty good place for cheap singing. A lot of servers, everyone seem to do their best as they respond very quickly when the service button is pressed. Unpopular opinion apparently, at least according to these other reviews but I actually had a great time at 100 Fun! My past experiences haven't been great - crowded, and dirty, small rooms. It's also been at least 10 years since I've last visited. The trick is to come with a super large group. For this latest karaoke session, my husband reserved a big room on the second floor for our bridal party get together (about 17 people in total). We had our own private bathroom (but it's super small and hard to turn around in without touching anything), and our own private rooftop area, which was really nice. It was very spacious, even for the number of people we had. We ordered bottles and snacks. The snacks are mostly fried and only about half of them are good, but you're not really going there to eat. You're going there to drink and sing, and if you happen to get hungry, it's nice to have something to snack on. The song selection could use some work. They didn't have quite a few songs that some of us tried to select. They don't even have Gangsta's Paradise, I mean come on! That's a classic! Not sure if I would go with a smaller group but if you're willing to throw down the $$ and have a large group, 100 Fun is actually 100 fun. read more

We didn't appreciate being rushed out to pay the bill, Customer service is Important! It's our 3rd time here and although our group made the best of it, their customer service is not good at all. Meh. The best thing about this place would definitely have to be the decor but if I'm being honest, you are much better off making the trek to K-town in the city if you're looking for a good karaoke spot. Let's get into it. Unlike most spots in K-town, 100 Fun is not BYOB. Which is fine, that's their prerogative. They advertise pretty heavily that you'll be charged a $300 fee for any outside bottles so be warned. They do offer packages though, I wasn't the one who paid so I'm not sure if it goes by the amount of people and time but we paid $65 for an hour and it came with $50 worth of credits. It was four of us so about $17 each which wasn't bad. It looked pretty empty when we walked in and we couldn't hear much, at first we thought it was because the rooms were just soundproof but later on we realized it's just cause it was slow. It was 11pm on a Wednesday to be fair. The reason why I say you're better off elsewhere is because although the room was nice, a lot of the equipment was jenky. 1. Their actual karaoke software didnt offer songs in English, only Chinese. So we had to use YouTube. I didn't like that, lol. I feel like for that, I would rather just stay home and use my own microphone for free. 2. Because we were using YouTube, we were basically screaming into the microphones trying to hear ourselves over the tracks volume, which also was unable to be adjusted. There was a whole touch screen on the wall with mic volume, song volume, crowd reactions, etc that literally just did not work. Only button that did work was the service button and when they came to fix it, they didn't show us how to adjust the volume ourselves. They had to restart the system, opened up a panel in the wall, raised our mic volume manually and even then, it just was not ideal. They did offer us 15 extra minutes for the inconvenience which I thought was nice. As for food and drinks, we got a round of casamigos reposado shots which were about $8 each. Not bad at all. The presentation was fab, I will say. We also got edamame, popcorn chicken and an order of fries. Edamame wasn't seasoned consistently. The ones on top got all the salt, everything else was bland. The fries were pretty good, they reminded me of McDonald's. Again, not consistently seasoned. The popcorn chicken was the best out of everything we had. On our last round of drinks, they definitely forgot two of them but we were already done with our hour and didn't want to stay any longer so we just left. If they updated their actual catalog to include a larger variety of songs then I would come back, but I definitely will not be returning to sing from YouTube, it just defeats the purpose for me. read more

my second time going & it was recommended by me that my group of friends/family. The service was completely HORRIBLE! We had a shot ferris wheel which was mixed when we asked for TEQUILA more than once. Then we asked for another ferris wheel & they kept sending a person who did not understand english or anything we were asking. He came with another man who spoke english but watched him struggle to communicate with us. These workers sat and didn't accommodate us at all we weren't able to use our room credit! By time they were done talking and acting like they understood what we said . A worker came back and told us our time was up after going back and forth for 30 minutes!
