We came here on a whim due to a canceled concert in Manhattan and it was the best decision we've ever made. I wasn't expecting to have this much fun. Staff was amazing. read more

had such an amazing time celebrating my 30th birthday here! The karaoke night was full of fun, laughter, and incredible energy. Everyone was so nice, polite, and welcoming -- it honestly made the night even more special. The owner was super friendly with excellent customer service, and the DJ kept the music going perfectly all night long. You can't bring your own drinks, but you can bring your own food -- and the appetizers we ordered were delicious! The atmosphere felt free and full of joy, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate this milestone. I'll definitely be coming back again for another fun night out! read more

Estelle Cafe & Lounge - Bartender mixing the drinks - Lounges Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Not that welcoming even when it was almost empty, very expensive beverages. Great place to hang out for Soviet folks or to sing old-school Russian songs. Get there early when it's empty if you want to sing, unless, again, you can do Russian songs. Beautiful voices & melodies. read more

This place is a must. Excellent customer service and so much fun. I highly recommend this place. Come on down.

bartenders have attitude and sometimes be overcharging or not playing your song unless you spend a bunch of money.

Very fun environment and very welcoming and friendly staff!! Would come back here again for karaoke

Excellent karaoke and beer! They let you optionally choose YouTube videos to do your karaoke, and this expands the range of options in a very positive way. The owner Peter and bartender Kruschana are very nice. read more

They try to poison me and my girlfriend with there coffee, liquor 100% sugar! Disgusting drinks, I refuse to pay for soviet bartender and security detain me and my girlfriend inside the bar! At one point, after an hour and a half we asked for some fresh air and we're also refused-the "security guard" began to get physical. Don't go here- the owner is despicable and doesn't know how to run a customer-driven business. If you don't like your drinks you will have to pay for them.if you find hair on your plate you will probably have to pay for it too. I'm sure they laundry money the prices are very expensive no customers and still they are on busines!!! read more

Man oh man the bartender sucks bad. Didn't say hi as we walked in. Didn't even come to our table 15min later we walked to bar to mention we would like to order food and drinks it was 4 of us. talk about terrible attitude slamming her hand on the counter saying we are every where and don't know what we want. It was our 1st time there and weren't given menus or any info. Good job to the cook food was decent! Won't ever go again though so sad read more

It really has the look of a front, even to the point where you get the feeling they don't want you to come in. Sketchy people coming in and out but not to eat or drink. Not a single person at the bar, except me. The woman bartender had more than the normal amount of European surliness. I asked her a couple questions and every time she gave me a dirty look and said "what?" How about this? I'm way older than 21, and she carded me. I could never even pass for 40. I could tell they thought I wasn't coming back by the disappointed look they gave me when I did come back after walking out to my car to get my license... it was all I could do not to ridicule her and her boss, sitting there, being a weenis, as I showed them my proof of age. A big hoegaarden draft and "double" dewars with ice (not even close to a double) was $31. That's too much. Worst beer selection ever. Heineken, Becks, Stella, bud light etc. Carlsberg, Stella and Hoegaarden on tap. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars but I can only give 1 !! AVOID this place !! You will never know what hidden charges will come out at the end of the night !! Plus the staff can't be more unsupportive ,they all wanna take as much money as they can out of you !!! Be careful !!! Check your tab! read more

Very nice place, we had great time with my wife and friends, highly recommended!thanks for everything

This is the first and last time I'll ever go here. I recently moved here a month ago and wanted to check out this bar. I'm seriously not understanding the great reviews about this place as I experience nothing great. Immediately as my boyfriend and I walked through the door, the snotty "waitress/DJ/bartender" gave us a shitty attitude and sat us to the back under the speakers. They played awful music, which consisted of bad 80s and hypererotic garbage. The food was basically deep fried frozen crap that I could have gotten out of a homeless man's dumpster and the cheap wines were outrageously overpriced. One of the waitresses was really nice and the furniture was decent. That was about the only thing I enjoyed. If you plan on going to this place, you might as well take the trip to Buckley's instead. At least they have decent food, drinks and friendly staffs. read more

The worst experience ever. Extremely small pours with high prices; the waitress was trying to be nice, but pushed us all the time. Moreover, it doesn't matter if you are singing or not - she could start asking some questions while you were enjoying the song. Will never go again, and do not recommend it to you. read more

Typically russian lounge with russian karaoke and russian customers in general! Prices are fine! Really low quality of hookah itself! So if u in the mood of soviet russian place in nowadays u should come by, otherwise dont! read more

I am so sorry guys, but this place is so bad: I spent a little bit time with my wife and they charge $50, barman person is dead, never come and ask you how you feel or something like that, so my review is: never going there if you want spend a good time!!!! , , , !!! read more

First time actually coming here always would pass by it but decided to try it out with a friend since they have hookah had a good time smoking hookah and having 2 drinks which one of the drinks was free with the check in plus they have karaoke maybe one day I'll do karaoke lol but I definitely would recommend this place to all my friends and fellow yelpers read more

So the sad thing about this place is that the hookah is really good for that area. However, the service was horrible. I went for a late night walk and decided to stop in. They were quick to ask me what I wanted and to take my order. 15 min later as I am smoking my hookah I am told that they were closing (why did you not tell me this before I sat down to relax). I was so satisfied with the hookah that I simply said okay sure, do you mind if I finish my hookah, as there were several other people at the bar. The server said no problem. Which was great, but then they just stared at me for the entire 5 min that I attempted to fill my lungs with as much smoke as possible (I do not like to waste my money). They also turned on the lights and turned off the music and just continued to stare at me. As I was leaving I asked the bartender what are your normal hours so I know next time. She looked at me, and completely ignored me. This happened for about 5 more times. Then I asked one last time, and said, "hey, I am asking, to receive an answer". She said that, her answer is, that she doesn't know (you could have just said that). The owner came over, and she nicely told me that it depended on the business. I said okay, that is all I was asking for. So in short, these two stars is because of the horrible brunette bartender they had on 10/14/2015....... She sucked. read more

I'm pretty sure this place is a front. No one at the bar but told it's full? People walking in and out without eating/drinking? FRONT! First thing when we walked into the Soviet Union we were told that the bar is "full" there's was only one guy there. I guess the bar is only for Russians? TERRIBLE!! a glass of wine listed for 10$ a shot of "vodka" that tasted like water for 33?! NOPE 1$ to Sing a song? NOPE when we confronted the old fart manager he legit said "are you going to commit suicide for 2$?" NEVER again don't waste your time here! Shit drinks, shit service, shit karaoke. waste of time and money. read more

It wasn't enjoyable place at all. I could say that it was the worst experience ever. Soviet Union atmosphere, typical Russian place with rude bartenders that gave us a look like we're some freaks. Very loud, prices are ridiculously high for place like this in Brooklyn. For example I paid $18 for my mojito and $8 for beer, and it's not even some fancy rooftop in Manhattan. That's the first time I noticed so much negativity from waitress. read more

First off if I can give the place 0 stars I would. There's no words for this place. First we were all friendly and trying to enjoy ourselves, until a bloody man came in which left blood all over the entrance. I should mention how he came into the lounge to clean up instead of calling the ambulance, this led to blood all over the bathroom which was left uncleared. So disgusting. It was all very suspicious and made us all uncomfortable. After having questions about the bill - overpriced beverages - the manager came to us very rude and when we questioned the fees charged he put his hand in my cousins face and raised his voice. At this point we were fed up and paid and left. Super disappointed and surprised at this place as we got referred to go here that is was a nice place to be. read more

WOULD NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! Do you know how they wash all their glasses? They RINSE them with lukewarm WATER!!!! That's it! Nothing else! when I asked if there's at least soap they use they've said no. The glass I've got had somebody's lipstick on it - they do nothing but dump the leftover drink and rinse with water!!!!!! I watched that for hours! It's like drinking from somebody else's cup all the time there and who knows what disease you can get by simply enjoying your night out!!!!!!! Is it enough to never come back???!?! Well it gets worse!!! The stuff is really mean as well as the owner. The speed of service is super slow, had to wait for my food and drinks forever when the bartender girl was simply talking to someone else ignoring me for half an hour!!! Should have walked away right than! In addition to said above they never check id meaning they do serve underage and simply let people smoke cigarets well as WEED!!!! How's that? I don't know about you, but I think there's a lot of better places in Brooklyn for me not to ever come back there, Aw yea, and their food is complete deep fried garbage:/ WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY! SAVE YOUR TIME ABD MONEY - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more
