I went to get a mani and pedi here. The service was horrible. I asked for polish but they gave my gel and instead of removing it they layered regular polish over my pedi. I had to pay for the gel price even though I clearly asked for regular polish pedi. My nails were thick and crooked, I don't think they use mma monomer because they acrylic clumped up and was a gelly like substance and stringy when I soaked it to remove them. Normal acrylic would melt off. read more

Mind-blowingly UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE staff here. I waited nearly 2 hours to see "Nikki" for a gel manicure and pedicure, after making an appointment with her WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Despite this, I was still willing to give this place another shot. So, I made an another appointment well in advance with "Nikki" and when I called the same day to confirm it, I spoke to "Linda" who was extremely rude. She said they had no appointment for me and that they forget to write appointments down all of the time and that their staff make you wait hours to see them sometimes. She said "IT HAPPENS!" This is the second nail salon I've gone to in Fresno and at this point the last. They ripped off my last set of nails with and extra nail tip. I paid no mind and continued but that was the first red flag. Second red flag was when the nail technician asked me what shape I wanted and I said coffin but was given square nails. The pedi was nice but the lady doing my set was rushing through them and gave me 2 crooked nails. I let everything slide at the time because sadly this was better than the first place I went to. Well.... Big mistake I'm an currently soaking off my nails and it's GOOEY AND HARD TO REMOVE. Seriously MMA ACRYLIC!? Not only is it illegal but it's super hard to soak off. This is ridiculous and seriously part of the reason I get anxiety trying new nail salons NEVER GOING BACK. ***Update**** Called and talked to one if the nail technicians and was offered advice on removal of the set . But honestly the salon was more focused on the fact that I wrote this review about my personal experience at the salon. Although I thanked the nail tech for the advice I was told they only soak off prior sets if asked for in advance. The reason you don't rip of any type of extension is to prevent damage to the nail bed so if you go in ask for nails to be soaked off in advance. Extremely rushed didn't care about what my nails look like in the end paid the full amount when she didn't clean up my cuticles didn't massage my hands with lotion and did not use a hot towel which is what I like the most. The ending filing session was extremely rushed and uncared for. The filing made my nails look extremely messy and the paint is all chipped now. They look good actually which is surprising but I wish she took a second just to take a look at the mistakes and give me a nice relaxing manicure. read more

Took my 5 year old in with me to get pedicures. She looks forward to getting pedicures whenever we go, regardless of where we get it done at. First, they need to hire a receptionist because the owner kept going back and forth from doing my daughters pedicure and getting back up to help customers. He did this about 4 times sitting down and getting back up to help other clients. I know she's 5 but it truly is about the customers experience. Also, they started my pedicure first and had other nail techs go help other customers who came in after us before the owner finally sat down at did my daughters pedicure. By the time I was done with my pedicure, they didn't even start on my daughters yet. Truly upsetting. My 5 year old had to watch me get mine done before she got hers done while they went and helped other customers who came in after us. Would not return. Hire a receptionist and have one at all times so you don't need to leave while doing a customers pedicure to help another customer coming in. Also he was not wearing gloves while he was doing my daughters pedicure and got up to help customers without washing his hands in between customers. read more

UPDATE- so now I have come by this place several times. Out of the 5 pedicures I have received, only once did I leave satisfied. They rush through their pedicures and at $60 w/gel I expect more. Their customer service has quickly declined since they opened. There isn't a receptionist so when you walk in they'll ask what you're getting done and that's about it. You won't even be offered the polish books to look through. Also, if you are getting your nails done by anyone besides Sophia or Linda they'll pop off or chip quickly. Sophia is also always overbooked so you'll be waiting for your appointment. Since they don't have a receptionist it's also 50/50 they'll remember to write down your appointment in her calendar. I've seen it happen before. I really, really wanted to make this my go to place but based off their customer service alone I just can't. read more

This was my first time here at 1 million nails and spa. This older gentleman was the one doing my pedicure. He was rough from the start. He took off so much skin around my cuticles that hours after the pedicure my toes are still extremely irritated and red. I told him as he was doing it that it hurt me. He laughed and continued. The massage had to be the worst part. He massaged me so hard and when I told him it was hurting he laughed again and said okay and CONTINUED to hurt me. He proceeded to my feet and started popping my toes!! I had enough and told him NO I DO NOT LIKE THAT PLEASE STOP. He said okay laughed again, and continued to pop my toes after I just said no. My friend was next to me the entire time and witnessed it all. I will never be coming back here again. read more

Pros: The salon did not have an overpowering smell of chemicals. I was greeted and serviced quickly since it was not busy at the time. The lady that gave the pedicure was clear about the what I would be paying since I wanted gel and French tip. She checked if I liked how she did the French tip before continuing. Cons: I woke up with one of my toes swollen at the tip and throbbing with pain. I had to go to Urgent Care because it was infected. I called the salon. The person I spoke to said that sterilize their tools, apologized and said they will look into what happened. I've never gotten an infection from a nail salon before. Now I'm scared to go. read more

I got a gel mani/pedi yesterday. The lady who did my pedicure was so amazing, gentle and kind. The other lady who did my manicure did not do my nails well. I had gel already on my nails from a previous mani and she didn't even remove the polish underneath the color! I mentioned this to her as I realized she wasn't completely removing it and she said it's fine, so I figured she had some sort of technique to somehow fix them while having the previous polish. I kept looking at my nails to see if they looked good and she'd immediately tell me to put my hands under the lamp. I had to ask her to add color to the edge of my nails because there was a big gap missing it and she tried to say she'd just file them, but I told her no I didn't want that. She also cut 2 of my nails shorter than the others and left them round while my longer nails are squared. They look so bumpy and ugly, I wouldn't ever go back to her. This was lazy and ignorant of her to do. I want to emphasize that the lady who did my pedi was great and the place was really clean, but I'm really upset about my mani. read more

I had a great experience here. I didn't have any sort of expectation but it was really really great. I got a premium pedicure. I needed a day to relax and treat myself and I felt really relaxed.
