Took my car the rip-off artists Pep Boys who failed the car because the drivers seat was "loose" and my front control arms and ball joints needed to be replaced to the tune of $800-900. Fortunately, they could not fix the fictitious "loose seat" problem and therefore did not complete the other repairs. They failed my car for inspection, not without charging me full price of inspection even though they did nothing except waste my time and make me mad. My friend recommended Saxon Auto Sales since he's been going there for years and their work is fair, reasonably priced, and they are trustworthy. Dealt with Bill at Saxon Auto Sales who first looked at the car. He confirmed that the front control arms did need work and that he could do it...and confirmed my suspicions that the seat problem was BS. Took my car in the next week...he fixed the control arms, charged me $185. Turns out Douche Boys was exaggerating what needed to be done...all that needed replaced were the front control arm bushings and sway bars. Bill even waived the cost of inspection!! Saxon Auto Sales does top notch work and are honest and trustworthy.

Finally the van is back together. This time it is leaking brake fluid. Bad enough to leave a puddle under the van. The dealership's online inventory helped in the decision and changed my mind about which model when that "Certified" word appeared on the smaller 2020 HR-V Sport. By chance the next day my neighbor took me for a ride in her Honda and I immediately put $ down to reserve that certified car.
