Unique and adorable dim sum spot with an elevated vibe although it's expensive compared to other options in Hong Kong where of course dim sum is abundant. Overall: 4.25/5 Value: 4/5 Food: 4.5/5 Presentation: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 I was drawn by all the adorable posts on social media! Cute dim sum in the shape of animals such as the bbq pork bun pigs and more. Taste is as expected for dim sum but presentation takes the cake here - the mini bird buns housed in a mini cage, and beautiful plating across the board to make for an aesthetic meal. Pricey but the setting and atmosphere is sophisticated and worth at least some up-charge I reckon. Service is also attentive. Can have a wait at the busiest locations in peak time but there are several different locations across HK and some are less popularly located. Worth a visit if not only for the cute photos!

This Yum Cha place is adorbs!! Especially the emoji-like buns. We got the hot custard molten buns and they were really good.

Super adorable and yummy dim sum! Buns were soft and full of flavors decorated with cute piggy/monster/bird designs. You must get their eggplants they were SO good. Mostly small plates which is perfect for sharing among a group. Aesthetic interior and food in general so if you want a cute insta pic this is probably where you want to go to. A bit on the pricier side but I think it's worth it for the experience.

I have been to the other location once and decided to come here with my family who haven't tried this restaurant before. Obviously everyone loved the cute steam buns they have and the best part is that its yummy too! Even though the food is pretty price its not horrible to just go once to try it. Overall the food is very good and a nice variety of stuff to order on the menu. My only complaint is that i wish it was a tad cheaper but i guess its so expensive because of the way the food is decorated. Everything was very flavorful. On my next trip back to HK i would probably go back again for the cute barfing buns

Was so excited by this place when I saw the menu and I wasn't disappointed at all. First of all, the ustensils and plates they use are fancy looking and cute. The tea they serve is very good. Everything on the menu looks so good. The buns they have are served as cute little characters!!! The bbq pork bun is in a piggy bun. Everything we ordered is delicious and nicely presented. The staff is also friendly and nice. The meal was a bit pricey. It cost us 636 HKD for 2. However, the food was delicious and the experience was great. Definitely worth a try.

Great atmosphere and ambiance. The menu is easy to read and understand. The items available were substantial and the food is very clean and pretty. People say we eat with our eyes. You go in for the experience but as far as the food...it is pretty to look at and eat, but it's not food that I could eat everyday though. The buns were pretty good. Skip the birdcage special (it's doughy pineapple).

BBQ piggy pork buns, chili green beans, beef noodles, honey balsamic chicken wings.

Yummy, adorable food. Can't go here and not order the character buns :) the green beans were my favorite. Location is lovely and the service is great. Spent about $30 US dollars each. We ordered all of this plus rice and two specialty drinks. Fun experience. We were super super full after leaving.

Everything was delicious, which I was not expecting! Best dishes imo were the salted egg yolk fried green beans and the glittery rainbow ha gow so yummy! And CUTE!

I saw this place on Yelp and knew that we wanted to try it. You can call it fusion dim sum but some of the dish and the presentation are amazing. Prices are on the higher side for dim sum but the work that goes into these creations are amazing.

The cutest dim sum ever! Of course it will be pricier than regular dim sum, but it's too cute to pass up. Make sure to make a reservation before you plan to go. The other dishes like the noodles and veggies were good too, but it's a great place to take kids for some cute dim sum!

Getting to try it in Hong Kong, the home of Dimsum, I thought this was going to be a 10/10. Yeah, not quite. The wrapping of each dishes were thicker than most places, so that was already offputting. That plus the taste of the fillings inside the xiao long baos, it's like you eat one and you already feel fed up and over it. And then there was no Har Gow in the menu, one of the most essential in a dimsum restaurant... Price was also much more expensive than your typical dimsum places in Hong Kong, and then some outrageous charges like $12 for tea per person, when it's literally one teapot at a table... and adding an additional 10% if you want to take the dishes to go if you don't finish... Yeah, this is a hard no. The only reason why I'm even giving it a two star rating is because customer service was spectacular and the tea was pretty tasty.

No reservations taken but no waiting for us. We were seated immediately. A menu was provided that described about fifty choices in Chinese and English. I lack a taste for the exotic so the six items we selected had vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, or shrimp. We are less adventurous than some and, without guidance, stuck to ingredients of some familiarity. Rather than bringing all at once, there was a measured pace for delivery to our table. As dim sum lovers, we dug in. The experience of robust flavors and the environment combined to give us a genuine Hong Kong experience. Our total bill was less than $100US.

Sportful Garden (what kind of a name is that?) does a pretty good job, creating new dishes as well as refreshing the staples, like the super long spring rolls. If you can hang on for a little bit and come in after two, you get the happy hour price which is 40% off many dishes plus some staple dim sum dishes for HK$14-18 (like, US$2). Early birds before noon gets a discount too. They also have roasted pigeon for $33 (US$4) each, and even provide gloves for you to enjoy with your hands. While I very much want to order the super-instagram-worthy birdcage dim sum set (I've taken a pic of the menu if not the real thing), my sensible mom insisted that we order from the discounted menu. I managed to get the piggies though (with purple yam filling). I simply have a weakness for ordering things so cute I suffer a pang of guilt eating them. My favorite is the sponge cake, so light yet creamy, but all dishes, including the noodles, are delicious.

Situated at the very top of the isquare mall in TST, it's a convenient location both for Kowloon and HK siders. The restaurant itself is a beautifully bright space with amazing panoramic views. It's quite modern/upscale and would be a good place to go for work lunches etc but you won't get any nasty looks rocking up in shorts/tshirts etc... (i went there in gym gear). The food...wow. I thought after 30+ years of eating chinese food i'd pretty much seen every iteration of a spring roll. I was mistaken. Granted it's hard to make the case for a spring roll to be the standout dish at yum cha but i've never seen them done like this (pictures attached). Each one is about 20cm long and stuffed with juicy fresh shrimp. I have it on good authority that they are also a massive crowd pleaser for kids too. Other than that, every dish was equally superb and fresh. All the usual suspects (har gao, siu mai, lo bak gou, char siu sou) were top notch; fresh, juicy, thin skins. The lo mai gai was another standout - not the usual stodgy, dense, overly sticky lump; rather it was surprisingly light and the meat didn't taste at all congealed, with just enough glutinous-ness to make the rice sit neatly. And the crispy pork cubes...oh the crispy pork cubes. I'd been craving these for over a year since the only offerings to be found in NY are better described as lumps of soggy fat with a micro film of crispy skin and occasionally a bit of pork. All in all an amazing feed. Adding it to the list of regular places to hit in HK.

They gave us a booklet along with the paper to fill out, and most of the dim sum was the classic dim sum that I'm accustomed to. Their chiu chou fun gor was alright for me. Their cheung fun wasn't the silky light type, so I was just alright with it. Their Chicken with Sticky Rice wraped in Lotus Leaf was huge though, way bigger than those in Los Angeles. Their fresh mango custard roll was my highlight though, as they had chunks of mango in the middle and it was sweet. Would try this again.
