Visited this restaurant since we were staying down the street at the Mira, and this was by far the worst place we've dined at in HK, and I thought you can't really go wrong with any place here (no bad meal yet in all my trips).
The restaurant is very hidden (close to LKK waffle place & McDs). You go down a corridor, and then go up the stairs to the first floor. There are no signs except some handwritten letter on a piece of paper. We stepped in and it was bustling with diners! Good sign, we thought.
We then asked the server if they had an English menu, and we got a sneer and a menu. We were sharing a table with another family, and they had ordered numerous dishes, so we thought it didn't look too bad. The restaurant didn't look too fancy, but the prices indicated otherwise, and the fact there was 10% mandatory gratuity (not a lot, but in HK where you don't tip, it is). We don't mind paying more, OR tipping at all, but the fact that we ordered two bowls of duck noodles (at 62HK each), and got tiny bowls of dried rice noodle (the kind you get for $1), with slivers of duck meat is a complete joke. We had to go downstairs to McDonald's after since we were starving after our "meal".
Service really isn't that great in most casual restaurants in HK, but it was extremely bad at this one. Totally DON'T recommend unless you want to walk away hungry and ashamed after for wanting more. read more
