After walking around Central and PMQ, we happened across this small Korean-Viet fusion style joint…read more After walking up a tight and small staircase, you reach where the food magic happens. This place is fast food style, so you place your order at the front and find an empty table. When we came during the lunch hour, it was quite busy so either take this to-go or be prepared to wait for an empty seat. The menu is quite simple. The most popular options seemed to be the set meals, which is actually a pretty good size to share amongst 2 people for a light lunch. We tried their banh mi set. The only thing that was Viet-fusion about this banh mi was their pickled daikon and carrots, even the bun wasn't the typical banh mi bun. But sall good, still tasted yummy anyways! The meat is marinated in a Korean style marinade and the sandwich is loaded with tons of kimchi. The spicy corn and cheese fries the set came with were good - nice small side to make your meal less boring. We also tried their Seoulade... this is a gigantic drink and def worth it! You'll be peeing buckets if you end up chugging this. Super refreshing during the hot summer months. This place is def a good option for when you want a quick bite and are wanting to try something different in the area!

Why wouldn't Korean fusion hit Hong Kong? I was expecting more of the same Korean/Mexican stuff,…read morebut it's an interesting take on Korean fast food. I usually like Set A, which when combined with an additional order of Kimchi fries is meal enough for two. I know Set A comes with fries, so why order another set of fries? Because 1) It's a different kind of fries, and 2) they're really good and adding bacon to is worth the 5 dollars. The regular fries themselves aren't too bad. You remember the old school nacho cheese? They put that on the plain fries here. I'm not a big fan of corn, but the corn salad here is just the right amount of sweet and a little spice that it's something I fight over and not something I just give away. The banh mi looks small but it's filling and the bulgogi is not overly sweet-which brings back memories of some pretty bad barbecues. Definitely another item that's worth getting multiple times. Their lemonade is pretty good even though it's basically a mix of 7up and lemon juice-it's still a pretty giant drink that will probably leave you in a diabetic coma. To top it off, the banana milk ice cream is a must get, try to save room for it.

A small, lively restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong with the diner ambiance. When I visited on a Saturday…read morenight, the tables were all full, but there was space at the bar. I ordered the all-American cheeseburger and upgraded my fries to chili fries. The fries were awesome--it's hard to find fries this good. The burger wasn't as good as the fries, but decent. I liked that the onions were diced on the burger. I would go back, but I wouldn't come clambering back. It's also a bit expensive--the burger, fries, and drink were $235. If I'm getting a burger, I'd like it to be more affordable.

The dim lighting and bench seating creates this ambience of eating outdoors in the 50s as a fever dream, and much of this place feels like a 50's burger joint, from the quirky candy jars, the striped tray sheets and strawsatop the shake station, to the polished (steel?) napkin holders and trays, and the crinkle cut fries (ugh. Not a big fan of those) I ordered a American cheeseburger lunch set, with came with a drink- I ordered an Arnold Palmer which they mixed in house, and a side of crinkle cut fries (again, not a huge fan). The Arnold Palmer was decent- nice big glass, with a generous helping of lemon juice, and a tea strong enough to not be overpowered by the lemon. The fries are well seasoned, and crunchy, but as with crinkle cut fries, the texture can vary quite a bit between French fry. The cheeseburger was great! They used a bold, but fragrant thousand island dressing as it's main sauce, with plenty of onions, and pickles. The patty itself was tender and moist, and the burger managed to actually be somewhat smoky! Considering how I only paid HK$99 for this meal in Central, not a bad deal. Might come back and try their shakes the next time around.
