My family used to take me to Cafe de Corals a lot when I would visit in the 1980s. They are a part of my fond memories of growing up in Hong Kong during Summer vacations. I had to eat here again, and have my boyfriend experience it.
There are quite a few Cafe de Corals - some locations are larger than others. This is one of my favorite locations - clean, big, and plenty of seating options.
You order at a self-service kiosk (which can be daunting, since there are a lot of choices, but fun at the same time). Since it can be busy at times, I suggest looking at the menu online first.
We ordered 2 Sizzling Steak Plate Sets, and 2 drinks (lemonade and red bean icy).
The drinks were not great, but they do give you complimentary hot tea, which was nice.
The steak plates were good, as well as the Borscht soup. It does come with a hot dog, but it was super bland. read more
