The bun was delightfully soft, but structured enough to hold up to the juicy patty. The patty itself... HOLY YESSSSS. Their patties are made of dry-aged beef and cooked to medium perfection. Erroneously assuming that I just had a milkshake that had a slightly overzealous serving of caramel syrup, I gave it another try. I have to admit that I like a thick milkshake, but it seems that Five Guys just makes them far too sweet! I might just forego the milkshakes next time. As for the burger, do they HAVE to serve it in a paper bag? I was eating it in there, I'd have been perfectly fine with them hurling the burger at me with just the wrapper. Considering how they ship those bags from Wisconsin, it makes me feel even worse about wasting the packaging. The burger was okay. I like that the bacon was nice and crispy, but the patties had a texture that suggested that they were processed (duh, fast food), but what bugged me the most was that I had 4 slices of American cheese, and none of those slices were melted. The best, though, has to be; the fish burger, which is like proper British battered fish in a bun. Far too many folks make their fish burgers like MacD's, so this chunky battered number is a great change. And also the veggie burger, which is a great rice and bean burger, a decent size and full of the goodness. We don't want a portobello mushroom posing as a burger, we want a burger (just with no meat!). Other lovely things on the menu include their shakes, which I find a good blend of sweet and creamy, without being too sickly. It is essentially a fast food joint, so you pay and get your food in paper. There is usually a short wait as they make to order, but only a couple of minutes. The restaurants are plastic tables and chairs, and you have to bus your own rubbish, so it does feel like any other fast food joint. The only difference is the food is just that much better and fresher. Definitely give the fish burger a go, it's really good.

Like most Triple O's the fries aren't fantastic in that they are rarely crunchy, but they being said, I generally prefer thin cut fries. To be fair, they also give you enough each time to fill you up properly. Triple O's makes good milkshakes, vanilla wok always be my favourite. But keep in mind that since they seem to use blenders for the milkshakes, you may need to stir the shake regularly to keep the ice crystals from clumping up. Again, I'd argue that their milkshakes are better than most fast food joints on the grounds that they scoop real ice cream into their blenders and then they just top it off with milk. If you're out of ideas for where to eat, and you'd like to spoil yourself without blowing your budget. Just have Triple O's. It's a piece of Vancouver that you can experience in Hong Kong.

One of our friends had a soup of the day which was butter squash. It came with a piece of tomato-rubbed toast, Spanish style. He liked it. We also ordered a Caesar salad for two which was large enough for the four of us to sample. A solid salad but lacked a bit of dressing. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he brought out more dressing on the side. For our mains, my GF and one of our friends ordered ordered the Iberico pork chops grilled and served with roasted potatoes and half a head of roasted garlic.
