In a word - a nice Californian tex mex with some interesting choices. Longer version (for the brave) - I had my eye on this place from the last visit so I thought this would be the perfect layover lunch just before I catch a flight back home. So after passing by one of their places, I saw that as a sign and went in. You can mix and match to prepare your favorite meal out of five options, choose beef, beans, cream and salsa - and there you go. I have myself a burrito with grilled chicken, beans and cream with the spiciest salsa (salsa brava) and an extra guacamole. On the side I had one bottle of guava "jarritos" - naturally flavored soda, yummy! The burrito was huge and made it challenging for me to finish, and it all tasted really fresh. The rice however can be improved. All in all it was all good but the rice alone was not amazing. One more thing I had missing - salt, put some on the tables so we can put some ourselves :) Yummy meal!

I've really been lucking out on this little stretch of Wellington Street lately! This place has some dope Baja California cuisine. I'd actually call the cuisine "Cali-Mex" (akin to Tex-Mex, and hence the name). Awesome vegetarian menu... and they actually have vegan cheese, vegan sour cream, and vegan "chicken" (in addition to your ordinary meaty/milky fare). The spinach quesadilla is my go-to... in all of its massive glory. I come here when I'm really missing great California-Mexican food; it's basically a little (ok, huge) bite of home. Bonus: this probably is the ONLY joint in Hong Kong that sells Jarritos (if you don't know, betta ask somebody...)

For what it is...It's A-OK : Good, but not Great. Hmmm...I don't have much to say here. The food doesn't have a true mexican flavor but the it does it's job. You will be satisfied and no longer hungry. They have little to no seating space so just take it back to your home or office.

Western food! The…read moreflying pan has very reasonable prices, poor coffee, mediocre food, and good service. I ordered the salmon Benedict, Kenzie the pepper and onion Benedict. The eggs being over cooked, had a non runny yolk. I ordered sides of baked beans and corn grits which were both fine. Our plates came out with the sides switched up. Not a big deal. Not bad for a western breakfast in Hong Kong. Not great either. I've had better western breakfast in Shanghai, though you would think Hong Kong being the international hub it is, would have even higher standards for western foods. Eggs Benedict: 85HK. Unlimited coffee: 35HK. Using a restaurants own WiFi to post a 2 star review about them: Priceless.

I went with an Eggs Guacamole and a mango juice and I thought it was all pretty awesome overall. The food isn't overly expensive, you get fairly generous portions, and they definitely don't skimp on your free sides. The potatoes were a tad dry and I probably wouldn't go with them the next time around, but their grits aren't half bad. Hollandaise sauce is thick, yet runny, and the eggs were poached perfectly. The guacamole was offered in generous portions, and the only thing that I could possibly say they weren't generous with, in terms of portion size was my juice. That's fine though. I'll definitely be back to try a few other menu items.

We were walking through the mall when we saw this Cheesecake Factory. Having been to several in…read morethe USA, we had not realized there was one in HK. Having immersed ourselves in local cuisine for over a week, we thought it would be nice to have a change and testing the consistency of their food overseas. First thing we noticed - no line ups. The locations we been to in the USA often have long waits, but not here. The interior follows the same decor and style as you would see in the USA, so no differences there. The menu is similarly expansive, with a lot of the same familiar menu items we're familiar. Small difference - entrees come with a "free" soup here, like going to a cha chaan teng. We ended up getting two things: - Mandarin Chicken Salad: Good. In the USA, it's referred to as a Chinese Chicken Salad, but it's the same thing. Maybe a bit smaller portion size in HK. - Crusted Chicken Romano: Good. Just as I would imagine it to taste in the USA. - Soup: OK. I don't quite remember what the accompanying soup was, but it was fine. Not memorable. - Complimentary Bread: Good. They use the same recipes so the bread, especially the brown loaf are always a treat to eat. Service was good. Overall, it was a good meal. Although not identical, it's very close to the original in terms of look, service and food quality, although relatively more expensive.

I'm really baffled as to why this place has such a low rating…read more First of all, this is the only Cheesecake factory in Hong Kong, possibly in the region (there is one in Macau, but that's not part of the metro area). As such, there are really a lot of people who want to come here - during regular business hours this place is incredibly packed, and it'll typically be at least a 30 minute wait to get seats. The food here actually compares really well to the stuff you get at Cheesecake factory in America; anyone saying otherwise probably hasn't been around America enough. Cheesecake factory in America isn't like a mcdonalds or taco bell, where there really isn't any cooking going on. In places like these, all the food comes from a single source, and all they're doing is tossing it in the deep fryer (even then this is a slight simplification). At cheesecake factory in the USA, there is real cooking going on, and there can be a real difference from store to store in the quality of the food. The food in this Hong Kong location compares very well to some of the better ones I've been to in America. The menu, same as other locations, is huge, and a great testament to how they can pull off so many dishes in one restaurant. Some of my favorites are the pastas, the breakfast, and the tacos. The wait staff is all pretty good here, and it does give you a slight american feel in that everyone here speaks english. I actually have not been here yet and seen a cantonese waiter or waitress. The only real con of this place are the cakes. The cakes are actually shipped frozen all the way from America. I think this is a bit much. Yes, the cakes here are pretty good, but they could probably make something from scratch that is comparable. It doesn't make sense to me that all the food can be cooked on site, but the cake is impossible to replicate.

The inside is very cozy with the bar as the center. I read the menu is seasonal and completely changes. My guess is what we had in December 2025 is no longer on the menu. The two cocktails we had was very unique with unusual ingredients. I think it was called Like-Minded Creatures and Paradox. Somehow the unusual ingredients came together very nicely. They do not skim on the liquor. I had a good buzz after one drink. In case you're wondering, they do not serve food. Just snacks/chips. Our server was wonderful. She didn't hover, but came to our table as soon as we make eye contact. I recommend this cocktail spot. We had a good time. Not fit for large/big groups. Perfect for 2-4 friends.

The atmosphere is intimate and fun, making it easy to see why this bar has earned such a strong reputation. Every drink felt like an experience rather than just a cocktail. That said, I was surprised by how aggressively the staff pushed for an additional tip after already adding a service charge to the bill. It felt out of place, especially in Hong Kong where that is generally not the expectation. It honestly felt more like something I would expect in the United States. Overall, the drinks and concept were excellent, but the awkward tipping interaction took away from an otherwise great experience.

I miss having a blue cheese dip, and this place delivered. The wings were also beautifully a seasoned and succulent, making this place an excellent place to go before or between drinks (Provided you're still sober enough to order and follow instructions, of course). The buffalo wings were great, as were their Thai wings. Back then, they also had this wing and drink combo which felt like a pretty solid deal, especially since beer is arguably among the best complements for wings. I do appreciate the quirky decor and the relatively clean bathroom facilities, and while the place was packed, serving staff were still quick and attentive.

CALIFORNIA STYLE WINGS with RAW GARLIC and PARSLEY were my favorite (pictured above). The garlic and parsley came out strong in the first bite and that's what I loved (garlic flavor works great on any food I guess). This one was the HERO of the menu.... (Metaphorically speaking....the perfect VILLAIN could be the next flavor that I tried - CAROLINA REAPER WINGS.... coz it was SOOOOOOO SPICY ... and of course delicious too!!) CAROLINE REAPER WINGS had a spicy level of 4 out of 5...... so BEWARE .... and better be ready to wipe that sweat from your forehead . The other three flavors were AWESOME in their own right.... but I guess they can be overshadowed by the California wings and Carolina Reaper wings. The other three flavors I tried - WINGS with BBQ DRY RUB; CAJUN STYLE DRY RUB WINGS; HOISIN HONEY GLAZED AND SESAME WINGS.

However, they've since moved to a bigger space so I'm ok with sharing my not so secret place. I've tried almost everything on the menu and basically everything there is good. The burgers though-they have burgers with chicken, which doesn't count but are still delicious. Why come to a burger place though and not order beef? The beef here is fresh and delicious and it's cooked medium rare-medium. I only eat burgers at that level if I trust the beef to be high quality. I always get the burger here at that level. Price wise, compared to what you can get at other burger places it's just...you can't compare. While other places have a quality burger you pay-what you get here for the price is ridiculous. Wow! Super surprised there is a yelp entry for this restaurant!…read more This place I feel is not in the most ideal area. Personally, I don't like coming to LKF to have dinner or lunch or whatever. Still, I can't fault them too much for the location, and many people have actually done the same since there are a number of good restaurants in LKF area. This place is primarily a steak place, though they have a few other things to choose from as well. I believe lunch times they offer a AYCE sort of option, where you get a main and then the salad bar is buffet. I've been to it before and it's pretty good. I've heard however since COVID they have changed it somewhat. The other night I came and got the seafood guazzetto, which is about $300 HKD, and has a bunch of different things such as fish, octopus, clams, etc. Lots of seafood essentially. Other things I tried included the sides of brussel sprouts, mushrooms, bruschetta, some of my brother's sirloin steak, some of the fish of the day (halibut?). Overall, the food is quite nice. I will say, they tend to use a bit too much butter/oil here. I know this is kind of true whenever you eat out, but here it is definitely noticeable. I would recommend them to tone it down just a little bit, since there are always ways to spice up your dish without going overboard on the fats

I came here for dinner three nights ago, and I'm still full from it!…read more The five of us shared bruschetta (it comes with four but they added one more for us), the cured meats (a great curated selection), and the meatballs for appetizer. They also brought out some veggies and dip before we ordered (which I had never seen done before) along with bread. The highlight of the night was the steaks of course. We shared the florentina (aka the porterhouse. A 32oz wagyu beast) and a filet. The meats came on a cutting board already cut, so the sharing was easy. They were perfectly seasoned, tender, and flavorful. We had roasted veggies and creamed spinach as sides. The latter was addictive! Chef Todd was around to explain their meat selection when I walked around to check them out in the case. We didn't get to send our regards to him, as we stayed late and were the last to leave. Todd, if you're reading this, hail to the chef! We went without a reservation and were seated right away. It was a Thursday night, but we had gotten there around 9 which might explain the vacancy. It's a great option for groups and celebratory dinners :)
