The shop is small and crowded with all others who enjoy tongsui and the line moves fast despite the wait. You can order via a QR code at the table or with staff. The menu is simple and they've got most of the must-haves at dessert shops. They have a minimum spend per person if you are dining in, so beware if your group has a person who doesn't do sweet soups. The worst thing (or best thing) that could happen is you eat one for them. The tongsui we ordered were all very basic and while they were delicious, I couldn't tell if they were better or higher quality ingredients compared to other shops across Hong Kong. If I were to be in the area and wanting tongsui, then sure why not. But I am unsure if I would purposely take the train and walk here.

The almond tea one on the other hand is not too sweet and great for anyone who doesn't like sweet desserts. Both are perfect and refreshing for a summer day.

It's my older sister's favorite tofu place so we had to stop by to grab a bowl of good old hot tofu, which is like a dessert. Be aware the dining area is small and cramped. You will likely have to sit next to a stranger in close proximity. It is street food style and casual dining. Folks order, eat and go! The tofu without a doubt was smooth, silky and fresh. They also have soy milk and some other food, but we mostly just came for the tofu since we had a few other stops on our food tour. There's 2 storefronts right next to eat other, although only one has a limited amount of seating. We thought the other one was for takeout, not sure if that was actually the case or not but they still let us order with them and take it over to the other storefront to sit and eat. We ordered a cold tofu pudding, mixed deep fried tofu, and soy milk. The pudding was soft and silky, and there's some sauce/seasoning at the tables for you to add. I don't think it was really my thing but it was interesting to try! I enjoyed the deep fried tofu a lot more since I prefer savory things. I didn't try the tofu ice cream since I didn't notice that was an option, but it sounds unique and I'd probably want to try it if I'm ever back here. Overall it was cool to try and worth a visit if you're a tofu fanatic. I'd probably come back again if I were in the area but wouldn't make a trip out just for this.

You'll be sitting basically elbow to elbow with strangers next and behind you. But that doesn't matter because their desserts are so wonderful! Some of my favorites are the tong yuen (glutinous rice balls) that come come with peanut sauce. The one that comes in the ginger soup is good too (for this dish, the balls have fillings inside, such as sesame or peanut sauce). Another good one is their sorbets, which are perfect for a hot day.

The taste of durian was also soften quite a bit, making this dish a bit more doable for those who do not like durian. Given that I really don't like tea, it was actually very nice. Also, I left a shopping bag there, not realising until I got home. Called up the restaurant and thankfully they remembered who I was, found the bag and kept it until I could pick it up the next day. They do have another cafe in sham shui po I think.
