Black Sesame Soup: The thick charcoal- colored soup of ground black sesame seeds is hot, sweet, and sticky. The black sesame has complex flavors that are deeply nutty, earthy, savory, and a touch bitter. There's enough sweetness that allows for the flavors to shine through. The texture is rich, creamy, and smooth. This is the best bowl of the shop. Sweet Walnut Soup: The mild walnut flavor pairs nicely with bolder flavors. The earthy and nutty flavor is creamy and comforting. Sweet Almond Soup: This highlights the aromatic flavor of almond extract, which is very tasty. The floral and fruity flavors are hats to miss.

The shop is small and crowded with all others who enjoy tongsui and the line moves fast despite the wait. You can order via a QR code at the table or with staff. The menu is simple and they've got most of the must-haves at dessert shops. They have a minimum spend per person if you are dining in, so beware if your group has a person who doesn't do sweet soups. The worst thing (or best thing) that could happen is you eat one for them. The tongsui we ordered were all very basic and while they were delicious, I couldn't tell if they were better or higher quality ingredients compared to other shops across Hong Kong. If I were to be in the area and wanting tongsui, then sure why not. But I am unsure if I would purposely take the train and walk here.

Thinking back, I regret not trying the Spicy Satay Beef Instant Noodle. I will have to look for this back in the states. The aunties working here are just the most adorable, very kind and welcoming. This place can't really go wrong if you wanted to have some nice dessert. The service is really quick. The waiters would come to you immediately and ask you for your order. Usually people come and know what they want to get. The place itself is quite small, so there isn't a lot of seatings people come and go quickly I would have given it five star if the seats are more comfortable But it is kind of crowded and a bit rush. My favorites are Carla, a mango and vanilla mouse and Jeanne, a chiffon sponge cake with fruits in between the layers. They constantly change their selection and sometimes they won't have my favorites, but I've never actually been disappointed by any cake here that I've tried. One thing to note though is that each cake is quite small (especially for its price). The latte here is very good as well - very smooth and served piping hot, and isn't overly milky. Another thing I love is their brioches - my favorite is the brie cheese and turkey one. The turkey is so nice and tender and the cheese goes so well with it! I do dislike the fact that they do not offer cake sets - each piece of cake is around $38 and a drink is around $35, bringing the total to close to $80! For me, this is quite pricey and this is why even though I love Agnes B, it's not a place I go to often, but if it's a special afternoon or if I've got particularly good company, I definitely wouldn't mind. Oh and a special mention goes to their frozen yogurt, which I think is more reasonably priced than the cakes - I really dislike frozen yogurt that tastes like ice cream, so I love the frozen yogurt here because it has a tangy taste that completely sets it apart from ice cream-esque frozen yogurt. The frozen yogurt comes with a free sauce and topping. I usually skip the sauce because that sweetens my yogurt too much though, and they have fresh fruits like blueberries and strawberries as toppings which really complement the frozen yogurt.
