The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had L'Occitane toiletries. The TV had a lot of English channels to choose from, and the in-room wifi worked perfectly. The mini bar was all free! In terms of rooms, I found this hotel better than nearby Ovolo Noho, which I've also stayed at. This is a great choice if you're looking for a comfy boutique hotel in Hong Kong island. So, we wanted a nice but affordable spot to finish out our trip in Hong Kong before heading back to the U.S. We opted for one of the upper suites with a skyline view, and let me tell you- the view was epic! The room was also quite spacious in comparison to most of the shoebox rooms you will find in HK. They use Malin+Goetz and Loccitane for toiletries, which is great because I'm a sucker for luxury grooming products. They also have a nice gym and a free refreshment nook next to it that is open 24/7 (with water/Coke/Diet Coke/granola bars). A small restaurant is attached on the main level of the hotel, although room service is not offered. The front desk desk was very helpful with our bags and made us feel welcome during our stay. Additionally, they were able to arrange a 3:30am taxi service back to the airport for our departure. This isn't the type of hotel with a gigantic lobby and lots of hustle and bustle going on, as it's somewhat tucked away and used to be a private residence tower. However, it is a high quality place to stay if you are looking for a 4 star hotel in HK that is in walking distance to many of the trendiest neighborhoods. Check in was a breeze and the front desk reception was super kind and helpful. I appreciate that the staff is not judgy, as can be with most establishments in HK, and were quite respectful and kind. The room was immaculate and a considerable size for HK standards, location was prime, in close proximity to the MTR and all the best rated restaurants and nightlife. Our 3 year old son was given a couple really nice little gifts right off by the gentleman at the front desk. They provided us with free breakfast which included eggs,meats,breads,fruits,yogurts and more. Over all an excellent experience here.

Not a single speck of dust or unwanted hair. I can feel that the carpet was shampooed. We booked the Family Plus: - one bedroom with a King Size bed. - two twin beds. - two desk areas. - dining table area. - master bathroom has two sinks, soaking tub and a separate shower with strong water pressure. - I was surprised to find a half bathroom. - there is a spigot, water is filtered and safe for drinking. - foyer area has a bench and shoe rack - free daily breakfast at the Lion Rock restaurant. - since HK rains a lot, you can borrow the hotel's umbrella with a $100 HKD deposit. Make sure you return them when you checkout so they can cross out your name or else you'll be charge. This suite is located at the end of the hallway, giving you peace and quiet. I have to give a huge shoutout to our lovely and darling maid, Hwa, who went above and beyond. Coming back to our room on our second day, she runs up to me and asks if I needed maid service. I told her not today. She kept insisting like 3x to empty all the trash bins and replace the used towels. After I kept assuring her that she didn't need to, she still knocked on my door a minute later. When she hurriedly finished she told me to make sure I have the green light on everyday so she can tidy up. I also appreciated that she wore slippers. That is what us Asians do. Lol. The location is so so good, you are right next to Langham Place, a fantastic mall with amazing architecture, and Mong Kok is pretty much in the center of Kowloon and a quick MTR ride to TST or HK island. You can walk across a sky bridge to Langham Place, and then access the MTR in the basement level. The service was geniunely over the top. The bellhops were amazing, they were so helpful and hard working. We asked for a taxi one time and there were none waiting, so he hailed one from the busy street for us! Another amazing service example, I was using a piece of paper for my mouse to work on the glass desk table, and when i came back later that day, the maid had replaced it with a Cordis mouse pad free of charge! Also everyday the maid would coil up all my phone charging cables with free of charge Cordis branded cable ties. We had the breakfast buffet and it was fantastic and had so much to offer, including a noodle bar, eggs benedict bar, dim sum, congee bar, HK milk tea and coffee, latte/cappucino made to order, etc. I could go on and on. The gym and pool is really nice, offering sweeping views of the city from the 41st floor while you work out. The rooms are comfortable (although ready for a refresh) and functional. Bathrooms are spacious and well stocked with amenities. If you book a Club room, you get access to a lounge on the 36th floor, with private check in and concierge service. There is lounge with mini buffet breakfast, afternoon tea snacks and drinks available throughout the day. We've stayed here a few times and have enjoyed every stay.

As you can see from the pictures, the only place to put them was by the seating area on the floor. There wasn't even a luggage rack. If you have more than 2 large suitcases, you're not going to have anywhere to walk. The bathroom was narrow and clean. The two beds are about twin size and only separated by a small nightstand. Sonic the person you're with snores, you better bring earplugs. The tv was a good size, maybe 36"? There were two USB adapters by the table & chairs. There weren't any outlets by the bed. Housekeeping was great. There were some days I told them they didn't need to turn down the room. Rooms could be updated. There is no bottled water; however, there are two 7/11 stores about a block away. I paid for the breakfast buffet. The buffet was just alright. I didn't think the selection was that great and the coffee wasn't to my liking. There are an abundance of restaurants, dessert places, specialty drink stores (boba, tea, etc..) that are within walking distance. I wish I knew this because I would've skipped paying for the bfast buffet; but it is convenient. The hotel is very walkable to all types of restaurants, stores, specialty drink places, lady market, the MTR, Nathan Rd (one of the main streets) and the gigantic Langham Shopping Mall on Argyle street (I believe). What I liked about the hotel is that it's 1-2 blocks from the busiest foot traffic but far enough to where you're not fighting people outside of the lobby and quiet enough. Some insights: * 7/11 stores: There's 1 about a block away & another one about 700ft. So you can get bottled water & anything else. Also, there are 2 pharmacies nearby as well. * Laundromat: Sunshine Laundry Convenience Store ( Shop 67 ) 陽光洗衣便利店 67分店 This is just 1.5 blocks away. This place was a lifesaver! There's only 3-4 W/D. You can use your octopus card or I think they take credit card as well. You can Google it but I think it's $40-$50 HKD. It automatically dispenses detergent as you wash. Great for general undergarments and dirty jeans, socks etc... * Luckin coffee: you really need to download the app or Alipay HK app. I think the drinks are discounted more if you use the apps. I couldn't do it bc you need a HK #. I was super bummed bc I love their coffee. There's a location on Nathan Rd and Argyle Rd. * ChaTraMue: this is just 3-4 blocks away. I wish I discovered this place earlier on. I got their coffee latte w/boba. It's one of their specialty drinks. It was SO GOOD! * Zoff: If you need glasses, this place has great frames. You can get your eyes checked and grams within 30mins-an hour! They're great. I didn't want to drag my suitcase through all the foot traffic so I ended up calling an Uber, which is very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel. For the price and convenience to everything, I would stay here again.

He brought us to check in on the 15th floor as we had booked a room with access to the executive lounge. Throughout our stay, the staff in the lounge were terrific; remembering our names, room numbers and even our preferred cocktails. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety and there was definitely something there for everyone. We enjoyed the various restaurants on the property and a couple of the dishes were outstanding. However, a day into our trip we had a rather big snafu with my father's mobility scooter breaking. Obviously this was going to affect our trip in Hong Kong, but Raymond, the Chief Concierge came to the rescue! He lent us a wheelchair to use and arranged for a rental scooter to be delivered to the hotel. He kept in touch with us throughout the week, giving us suggestions and making us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. I can't say enough good things about Raymond, except kudos to you, sir. A++. You, alone are a reason I would return. The hotel was packed because of the Chinese New Year. I observed how well the staff worked with each other and the guests; it was a well oiled machine. There were some festivities in the lobby to celebrate and the general manager, Mr. Wipper was there. Ah it all made sense now. The extraordinary attention to detail and exquisite service came down from the top! It was clear this GM had standards and his staff respected that, and him. The airlines had cancelled our flights home because of expected bad weather. Bobby, the rooms manager, whom we had met upon arrival, didn't flinch. Although they were at capacity, he somehow managed to extend our stay for 3 additional nights and then change again when the airlines cancelled us for a second time. Well done Bobby - the airlines could learn a thing or two from you. All in all, we had a marvelous time at The New World Millennium hotel in Hong Kong and I would highly recommend staying at this property!
