Some of my family members in HK claimed it to be one of the best restaurants in Hong Kong. Certainly when I walked into the restaurant, I was amazed by their incredible interior and dining space, also had the view of the harbor. They have huge dining hall that easily fits few hundred guests. We ordered pearl shrimp dumplings, crab cake, roasted duck and waygu beef noodles soup for our meal. All the items had amazing flavor. Roasted duck had delicious crispy skin. I had never seen waygu beef in a soup dish before. The soup was mixed with vegetables, little spicy, but full of flavor. The service was top notch at the restaurant. All the staff members were super attentive, making sure water glasses/ tea cups were full all the time, cleaning out empty dishes and helping guests with all other requests. Dishes were served in short time, only the baked crab cake took long. The restaurant also gives 20% discount Marriott Bonvoy members. They also have some half priced dishes for Bonvoy members as well.

If I didn't feel like going out after a long day of being touristy/family, I would visit here. I generally went for the beef brisket wonton noodle soup. The broth was a little heavy on the 5-spice and I would've been fine with a cleaner broth. However, the noodles, brisket, and wontons were on-point. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the wontons were delicate and filled with shrimp. The noodles were toothsome and weren't too soft. The set meals are a pretty good value as you can choose from a variety of entrees (noodles, rice porridge, etc.), a side dish/dessert (like vegetables, fried wontons, dessert soup), and a drink (hot soy, hot teas, etc.). I didn't go for the fried wontons but the fried fish balls were quite good. They were very hot but soft with a slightly crispy exterior. There wasn't a fishy taste to it, so it seemed more fresh. The choy sum was okay, though the broth it sat in was a seafood-based broth which wasn't really my style. Service was decent though like most places in HK, you have to flag down someone and don't expect someone to come to you. This spot was good (and clean) enough for me to not have to visit my former wonton spot, Mak Man Kee. I mean, Chee Kei was good enough where I didn't feel compelled to endure a cramp place with small portions and poor service. I just don't have to deal with that anymore.

Couple the fact they're located on one of the highest floors of iSQUARE (#1), this means one can enjoy their food and a view at the same time. Let's start with the dim sum. It's all very good. I have to give them kudos for high quality renditions of spring rolls, egg tarts, rice noodles crepes, shrimp dumplings, Malay sponge cake, and number of other items. The tea is good as well and for the most part, everything is high quality. Speaking of quality, the hot pot presentation is definitely IG worthy. More importantly, the broth for the Chinese herbal and mala were very clear and full of flavor. Sure, their a la carte ingredients are a tad spendy and somewhat portion challenged, it is still completely legit. Reservations are always recommended at places like this. There is no hard dress code per se, but I wouldn't recommend coming here dressed terribly. Service is always very good and super courteous. I would highly recommend coming here in a group because hot pot and dim sum are best enjoyed with others. ____________ (#1) A beastly mall in TST: http://www.yelp.com/biz/ECraV3C99IfQIrE_hCB9Ng

We ordered a chicken and Chinese sausage one and one minced pork with salted fish. They were generous with the toppings but I barely got a taste because my son devoured two of the dishes himself. I did get some of the crispy rice on the bottom and it was delicious. My favorite thing about claypot is how flavorful the rice gets from soaking in all the meats or whatever toppings. The menu is impressive, I have never seen so many choices. I wish we had time to explore more of the other claypots like the razor clam with black bean sauce. Why is everything in HK so darn good!? I noticed the foods here were cooked on the softer side also, so it's elderly friendly. My favorite here was definitely the cha siu. We ordered a wonton noodle soup and they forgot the noodles and the broth was nontraditional, but the wontons were good. Overall, seems like a great place to avoid crowds and have dinner with family. As other reviewers mentioned, this is a private club and requires reservation. I asked a family member why there are clubs for restaurants there, and she said that it's for convenience and quality.

If you are near here, eat here!…read more We were the only westerners in the restaurant, which gives a good hint about local quality. The menu had a LOT of items, each numbered and with short descriptions in English. Everything was, as you'd expect, served family style. We had the hot and sour soup, some veggie dumplings, shredded beef with vegetables, shrimp in chili sauce, all served with tea. Each was fantastic! Seriously. Not good. Not great. Fantastic! There was enough soup for four, which magically disappeared from our table for two. We cleaned every plate, and not because the servings were anything short of generous. The service was also great, while a bit hovering as they seemed worried about how we might handle everything. For one, I was happy they noticed us struggling while making a mess trying to shell the shrimp, bringing us a knife and fork (and extra wet-wipes). Interesting to me, this was the first time we each had two sets of chopsticks. Thankfully, the internet quickly taught us that one set was for serving ourselves from the community plates, and the other for eating. Don't use the eating pair for serving or the serving pair for eating -- it is bad form, especially with COVID being so huge here. Note: they are happy to bring serving spoons, forks and knives if you ask (or appear hopeless). My other mistake, in addition to the shrimp peeling fiasco, was not tipping. When I saw the 10% service fee, and knowing tipping is totally optional and not expected in Hong Kong (and most of SE Asia), I still should have left a bit more, especially considering how helpful they were.

The pork chop was fried to a golden brown and loved the slight curry flavoring they add to it. Only dish I didn't really care for was the chopped veggie with tofu skin dish. It had a weird taste to me but then again it could've just been the lack of sleep I had on the plane ride from Male. Would head back to try some of their other items.
