The selection can vary but the everything bagel is okay (HK bagel makers seem to forget the salt) the onion bagel, if you can get it and the jalapeno as well has a nice heat and spiciness to it that goes well with their sandwich options. The ordering options are a little confusing, but basically you can get your bagel and spread or a sandwich. I've tried the salmon one-delicious, has the saltiness that I've found lacking in HK bagels. The BLT is simple and tasty and pairs well with any bagel they have. I recently tried to Pastrami bomb and while I need to be in the mood for it, the mix they have is satisfying and well put together. The staff is nice and you can tell they're really trying to go the extra distance. We got a catering order from them and they sent us a nice thank you note along with the our order. I'm gushing, after being bagel deprived for so long I'm grateful for this place.

This review is primarily about the service I received while there. On the whole, the staff were friendly and helpful, with the notable exception of the Manager, Caroline. She was unfriendly, unhelpful, and teetering on the edge of downright rude. She was dismissive of my requests, and almost exasperated by my failure to understand that a croissant sandwich is not, in fact, considered a sandwich for the purposes of the lunch sets. After deciding against the set, I selected my two croissant sandwiches (insert eye roll here) and asked for a cup of ice. She agreed, accepted my $190HKD - which I thought was steep for a sandwich, a mini sandwich, and a bowl of fruit - and promptly forgot about the cup of ice, which I didn't receive until I asked someone else for one. The issue is not that she forgot, it's that she was standing there when I asked again and impassively stared at me like it wasn't her job to be dealing with such trivial requests. Overall, it's a nice space with really beautiful bread products, but I hate being made to feel unwelcome or burdensome to a restaurant's managerial staff, as I was anything but rude. We decided to walk the mall (forgot the name) and ended up finding a quicker, more casual to go option. But the seating was limited and needed to be reserved again as well. Well, just around the corner was another sit down restaurant, no reservations needed and we were lucky to get seated quickly. We had to wait about 30 min before afternoon tea so we started off with some delicious fruit mock tails . The afternoon tea (we went with dai pai dong) definitely hit the spot and we of course ordered the menu option with tons of delicious little bites. It's been almost 3 months now since I had it so I can't remember exactly what we ate but I remember there wasn't one thing I didn't like. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice afternoon tea experience. Especially if you're looking for something more on the casual side and less pricy.

I got a Salted Caramel Tart and it was...just okay. It looks amazing and it's clearly been made with care, and yet in terms of flavor it's just nothing terribly special. The caramel taste is far too subdued to make any real impact, and the whole thing is sweet to the point of distraction. (It really lingered on my palate afterwards, to the point where I had to eat something salty just to get that cloying taste out of my mouth.) I have to assume Robuchon's savory options are much, much better than this.
