Which is nice in the cooler months. And a lot of people overlook it so it's a nice quiet work space. - Pet friendly. There's even a puppachino for the pets. - Good food also. I'm not a big fan of kale so I won't comment on how it tasted. Definitely stop by here if you're looking for a good brunch place in the area.

The fries were hot and really good. The grilled cheese was of ample size and super cheesy. The Greek salad was a touch too simple (needed a few more olives I think to punch it up), but evenly coated with dressing and fresh. The desert case is also packed full of great looking cakes, bars and cookies and worthy of a repeat trip (prices in the case range from $68-88). They advertise a special of like $98 for a glass of Prosecco and a dessert! It appeared some couples were wandering in to enjoy this just as we were leaving. Around 7PM when we arrived on a Friday, the place was not busy at all (which I know is bad for business, but preferred by us!). It was nice to sit with the open air on the first floor and simply enjoy our time. They have upstairs seating as well and it is closed in, the downstairs part is more open to the outside elements when the weather is nice. I walk by this place almost every day and the busy feeling of brunch on the weekend or packed lunch crowd during the week is different than the quieter evening vibe. The staff was friendly, welcoming and absolutely accommodating. For $251 and a good quality meal, we will absolutely return sooner than later.

That is, except for one tiny cake, which my friend ordered and consumed alone because I'm lactose intolerant. Now, I *swear* they still had bagels and bread in their industrial-sized fridges at the back below the coffee machines. They just didn't feel like making me plain toast. Too busy standing behind the counter texting. Still, my long black was delicious, and it was a nice place to sit for a little while. I would be interested in coming back to try their English breakfast, which sounded good and looks like a deal at $85, when I'm used to Island side prices.
