The pictures they use on the menu set your expectations a little higher than it should. This probably explains why they write a disclaimer on the menu that it may not show up as shown.
As for the food, I got the combo that got me the noodles, pan fried dumplings and a side of vegetables.
If you like your food really salty, then I guess you will like the noodles. It comes in a thick broth that is very salty. You could probably mix in the same amount of hot water as soup and it would still be strong enough in taste. The soup was thick, but the texture tasted like corn starch or something was just added to thicken the soup.
In the picture, the side of vegetables was gai-lan, but I got steamed romain lettuce.... huge difference from the picture.
On the bright side, the dumplings were decent.
I also got a bubble tea. My personal preference is for the larger pearls - the ones that just fit the straw, but they use the tiny tapioca pearls.
Overall, just get the dumplings. read more
