You know when your having a craving and nothing else will do until you get what youre searching for? Po boy shrimp sandwich was on my mind, my friends are in New Orleans and that's one of their specialities. I INSTANLY wanted to have those delicious fried coated shrimp with all the fixings. I searched on yelp "po boy sandwiches" I got a few hits but OFISH stood out. They had exactly what I wanted and it wasn't to far. Called for a pickup as we wanted to go by the water on this glorious +8 sunshine day in Montreal. We got two sandwiches and 1/2 of bang bang shrimp. DELICIOUS is the first word that came to mind as soon as I unwrapped my sandwiches and mmm was second after my first bite. Sandwich had all the fixings... crusty bread, lettuce, mayo, tomatoes PICKLES and of course delicious little shrimp which were battered perfectly. It was not messy it was fresh and made with love. I highly recommend grabbing one. The bang bang shrimp are delicious covered in a mayo dressing reminded me a bit of the Big Mac sauce with shredded lettuce and sesame seed you can't go wrong. Fantastic shrimps I tell ya. You will also be pleased to know there's 15% off when you take it to go. Students get a little freebie as well free fries and drink so you can't go wrong. Delicious fish dishes were delivered via UberEats from Ô Fish. We had a promotion; and we had a family gathering. Every member enjoyed their platter immensely. I took fish and chips. My fish has batter of Caribbean spices, with fries, chipotle sauce and coleslaw. Everything was good except the coleslaw which was disgusting; you know it was rotten. It slightly put the vibe down to enjoy my food. Hopefully, they will careful next time before sending something expired, and keep it fresh. read more

I was very surprised by this restaurant! I lived in the UK for 6 months and tried plenty of the "best fish and chips" and was always left disappointed. For me, it's really the texture of the battered and fried fish that doesn't appeal to me. O Fish is now my go-to place because of their panko breaded option. It is nice and crispy, not greasy at all and the tartar sauce and vinegar coleslaw is just amazing. Portion size is just perfect and you'll definitely be full with all the fries that come with it. The fake newspaper is also a cute touch. Excited to try the other options they have available! read more

Just picked up to go a crab cake po boy. Damn that was good! Got a symphony of after tastes swirling in my mouth 5 minutes after finishing it. Was here one before and had the shrimp po boy. The food is always fresh, presentation is tasteful and customer service is outstanding. Even when ordering through delivery apps, the quality is always up to par. The 10-piece cod is pretty good too, my daughter (aged 2) loved it; though I prefer the fish in the fish and chips, as it is more airy (not sure if that's the word to describe it, maybe fluffy?) and tender. The fried pickle is pretty good too, it helps with getting rid of the greasiness of fried food. another one of my favourite is the shrimp po boy, get it, it's amazing. The calamari is pretty good as well churros is good, but a bit small and too sweet. overall, amazing food and service! read more

Yay for this new Fish and Chips that just opened on Monkland avenue. My missus - a native born Maritimer and daughter of a Fisherman and Fisheries officer gave Ô Fish's Classic London Fish and Big Chips (as she calls them) are a hundred times better than those from a nearby seafood restaurant. The owner of this tiny shop is really nice too, so it's easy to feel good about spending time and money there. Ô Fish is licenced so you can have a beer with your yummy food. Look forward to an expanded terrace so that more of your friends can join you. read more

Mediocre at best. I ordered the half portion of the "London" fish and chips. It took a long time, and when the fish arrived it was overcooked and very oily. Same for the chips. I lived for years in the UK, and have eaten literally hundreds of fish and chip dinners. I would never mistake this for, say, Harry Ramsden's, or Bryan's of Headingley. The interior was clean and pleasant, the portions were decent and the tartar sauce was tasty and abundant, but that's the best I can say. I've only visited this place one time; maybe they were just having an off night. I don't know; but I'm not in a hurry to return. read more
