This company is in a word wonderful. we had signed up with another company who turned out to be over priced and didn't do a very good job. I was able to get out of that contract and went with Zunex. They negotiated the price so it was what you get when you have a knock on the door and not what you get when a sales person comes to the door. Very reasonable. They did the first spray and we immediately noticed less of the stupid black flies that were by both doors. After 30 days they come do another spray to break the egg cycle and every single one of the flies is gone. they are pleasant when they come, very efficient and well worth the cost. they treat the entire yard so you really do get rid of the critters. read more

They were ineffective but more significantly they are now saying we signed a contract and can not cancel the service. WE NEVER SIGNED A CONTRACT PERIOD. Alex is awesome! We have an ant issue, and 2 beehives. All these years we haven't let the techs come do the backyard. I have only seen maybe 10 ants in the last month that i started service and I usually have an army. So thank you to the people doing the actual work on the front lines. I will never use this company again! A few months ago, I was outside, working on a busted main waterline in my yard , and a door-to-door salesman came up and talked me into signing up ! And begrudgingly I did , I didn't have any pest issues at that time and just recently my roommate downstairs found carpenter ants, so I called them immediately because on their website, they clearly state they warranty their work for a year ,great ! Right ?? No !!!! Only if you're still under contract with them and paying them every month or every three months quarterly !! so if you cancel their services at any time, and it's been way less than a year before you last saw them, they will not warrantee their work as stated on their website for a one year warranty !! Overall 1-2 stars. Rounding down due to poor communication and the terms and conditions. I'll break down this review based on sales and services: Sales -- they are dang tricky. Don't sign or take their signs at all as a part of the "terms". Whatever special they have, it's a TRICK to lock you into a years worth of services. DO NOT SIGN OR TRUST THE SALES PERSON. It's a initial service fee "discounted" unless you break the contract then you owe the "discount" back. Also, it pay look like you're paying a lump sum for X amount of services but get VERY CLEAR ON THIS BREAKDOWN OR PRICE OR SERVICES. They said $175 for 4 services + initial fee which would cover the quarter. NO -- IT DOESN'T. It's $175 for each service. I didn't get a chance to read this contract upon signing cause it was on the persons phone. If a lawyer wants a class action, I am in. Sales Grade: 0 stars if I could. Service -- it is hit or miss. Initial "wasp treatment and other pests", they did it but wasps kept building back nests. Also, the nests and eggs were still in the same place. Asked them to come back and deal with it cause they "guaranteed" the services, one man was really good and took care of all the nests (3 total) and disposed of them. He was the only bright spot on this. Service Grade: 2 stars Overall Grade: 1 star. Really be careful and inspect what they do. You can do all this yourself by being proactive in the spring time. I'd rather just do this myself cause it's overall, it feels like a scam and you need to be prepared for the bills. It's more than your cable or insurance bills in the end. I received the service through the owner on a knock on my door ... on his scooter .. For one time, he was trying to make more clients . He promised he wouldn't over charge and or only charge one time fee. Next thing I see , is they over charged for 200$ for absolutely nothing since their is no contract , no verbal agreement.. They supposedly claimed I agreed on an agreement mutually for upcoming occasions . I was charged 200$ dollars for technically nothing And I called customer service line only to be told "You agreed on this , it's not our fault , you didn't want our service " I was like "what are you talking about ? I never agreed on more than a one time fee" They seem to only want money out of you For nothing . Very rude . After having a horrible experience with another company we gave Zunex a call to fix a rat problem under our house. Thomas came out quickly and found 4 entry points that the other company missed. He did a wonderful job sealing up under our house so no new rodents could enter and laid traps for any that may be hiding underneath the home. He spent hours doing the job right. After he was done sealing up underneath our home he began spraying around the house for insects. My husband and I were very impressed with how thorough he was, not cutting any corners. He cleaned up spider webs with a long brush around our decks roof (the other company we used to use NEVER did this). It is a wonderful bonus to not only not have any creepy crawlies on our deck but to also have their old webs gone! Once he sprayed around our home, detached garage, and shed he still wasn't done! He fog sprayed our yard to kill any spiders that live in the grass (another thing our other pest company never did). If you are looking for an AMAZING company to handle any of your pest needs call Zunex! They are a WONDERFUL company! They will come out to look at your problem and give you a quote before beginning any work and go over the service agreement so you understand any charges before they begin. Thomas even offered to pay for the tax himself since he didn't tell us about it in our quote, which we said no to because we expected tax. Such an honest, thorough, and knowledgeable company. Like Jason says in his review, TRICKY SALESMAN. They offer a great deal just to get your credit card number- a one time deal but then all of a sudden you see a charge on your card for $187. Totally unexpected. When you ask thee office about it they start lying, you signed a contract. I did not. I signed what I thought was a permission to charge my card. They will make every excuse to not reverse the charge. Then apparently the guy was out TODAY spraying my grass with no warning and no one to verify that they were really there. so now they have an excuse to justify the charge. I have to update my review because these guys are seriously the best. Our ant problem returned with a vengeance... and right by our bed. First off, I REALLY hate ants. And this time they popped up right by where I sleep so that's not good. I emailed and set up an appointment for a few days later. Well then we pulled back the bed and saw how bad it was. I called to see if they had anything sooner and they made time for us the same day. Then they came out, spent time inspecting all around the house, and applied a treatment. Wow. We had a difficult situation w smarming yellow jackets embedded in a ceiling in the barn. A zunex arrivced and took care of the problem. His work was methodical, careful and not only met but exceeded what I though was necessary to be done. He used several chemicals while protected in a hazmat, and then caulked the likely adjacent places where the Yellow Jackets could find their escape route. A gentleman for sure, and a marvelous company to have such employees. The price was better than other exterminators as well. I appreciate this visit and the result very much. read more

We had Zunex out to spray for bees in the eves; they went up and above by providing a complete servicing for bugs around the house. They serviced the lawn and dusted our hedging to protect against bugs. I have used other pest control services in the past, Zunex's communication is second to none. They provided a portal that has all the documentation of the work provided as well as visibility into up-and-coming services; you can easily pay the invoice online through the portal provided. Salesman came to door claiming to have been servicing my neighbors home for 5 years. A Lie! We explained we did not want their service, but he would not stop selling and when I asked him to leave he refused. I explained that our property is clearly posted "No Trepassing", he said it didn't matter that he had every right to be there. I ordered him off and had to pint out that we had cameras recording him and what he said, then threatened to call the Police to have him arrested and so he finally left on a Segway scooter. It is the second Zunex salesperson to come in a week and both were rude and refused to leave. read more

I have always tried to get rid of the ants, today when I saw a bunch and I used up the rest of my spray. I figured I needed help, contacted Hunter and asked for help. Josh and Yegger came out, I talked to Josh as he was getting things ready. As Yegger was spraying the inside, Josh was outside spraying and getting ready to remove a hornet nest. Josh showed me where the ants were coming in and I was blown away, he laid bait and asked me not to kill them lol.
