First time leaving a negative review ever. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of accountability from this company. We hired them for a wasp nest removal that was supposed to be a professional, thorough job, but the experience was anything but. - Unfulfilled Promises: When booking, I was explicitly told the service would include treating the area (preventative spray). However, the technician simply knocked the nest down and left. When I followed up, the company claimed treatment wasn't "necessary," completely ignoring what was promised during the quote. - Refusal to Resolve: I reached out to management to request a price adjustment since the service was incomplete, or at the very least, to have someone come back to properly treat the area and inspect the vents located right next to the nest. Both requests were flatly denied. - Unjustified "Height Fee": I paid extra for the height, yet the technician didn't actually reach the area to clean or inspect it properly. If I just wanted the nest physically dislodged without treatment or cleaning, I could have done it myself for free. - Lack of Professionalism: The debris was left in my personal household trash bin instead of being hauled away. It makes me wonder if they have the same unhygienic practice of dumping dead rodents or other pests into customers' private bins when handling those types of calls. I paid a premium for expertise and a specific scope of work that was not delivered. The fact that they refused to make it right or even honor their own verbal agreement is highly unprofessional. I still hope to see this matter resolved properly, either through the promised treatment and inspection or a fair refund for the unfulfilled portion of the service. read more

Andrew did a great job. Andrew notified me via text when he planned on showing up to do the work which is very much appreciated and considerate because I have a renter who had to take time off from work to let Andrew into the home so that he could do what he needed to do. He did a great job on the exterior of the home; installing new air vents that were missing fins; built and installed a crawlspace door to seal out rodents. All in all it was a great experience for me and my renter. read more

We have been using Sentinel Pest for over twenty-years. They used to be considerate of client schedules. Now we are being told when they will show up by a text the day before service. When we informed them we would not be home to unlock security gates, they said that we cannot skip service. The office staff could care less if they lose your business. We did ask to have the owner Wayne call us, and was told that he may or may not to get back to us. Guess they have gotten to big to care if they lose clientele. Sad and unprofessional. read more

I'm a newer customer, but my experience with Sentinal Pest Control has been 10/10 so far. Their clear communication, knowledgeable service reps, and customer service have been outstanding. Our first rep did a thorough first service, and we had a call back due to some ant activity. They came back out 2 weeks later for an additional spray, at no additional cost. You pay the day of service, instead of the popular monthly bill/ quarterly service, like I've seen in the past which I prefer. read more

Very disappointed. We initially signed up with them for the rodent package (we had mice) and also subscribed to their every other month preventative treatments The first few visits they just told me when they are coming which I thought was a little annoying cause I don't seem to have a day but it was the summer so it was ok The visit before the last one they just texted me to say when they are coming again and I told them we had to do a diffeent time cause we weren't home/ kids schedules and was able to successfully find another date Out of nowhere I was billed yesterday for a service yesterday . I had no idea anyone was coming or came. I had to look at my cameras to see someone was here. I was not notified at all!! Also, my backyard is gated/ locked... 3/5 of my house is behind the gate and where most of our pest concerned are I messaged them telling them that it wasn't ok for them to just come without saying anything and 3/5 of my house is therefore not serviced Their response... is wow. I know they are a company to make money but it's black and white telling me they care more about fitting as many visits as they can in a calendar year than actually performing the service as they should (every other month) Also it sounds like the expect me to just be a sitting duck at my hours waiting to see when they will come or keep my gate unlocked everyday just incase they decide to suddenly spring here. And no, they did not bother offering to come back to take care of the 3/5 of my house that they didn't service. read more

Sentinel billed me $98.17 for our monthly inspection service without providing the service or having scheduled an appointment. They insist a message was left the day before. There was no information on their 4 second message. Typically, I get a text the day before requesting an appointment. There was no text. I called to question the bill and was told the service man knocked on my door, but did not get an answer. Without an appointment, it's hard to say what they did or did not do. I insisted upon having the bill refunded until they could come out WITH an appointment and I'd be happy to pay as I have in the past. They said they would refund me but the bill would still stand, which is not really a refund. I had to cancel my monthly service to have them understand that you have to provide service to deserve to be paid. I can't recommend Sentinel as a business that deserves to have my credit card on file. They broke my trust and wanted to argue about why they think they deserved to be paid for non-performance. read more

Kevin is a fantastic technician. I have had issues with spiders, rats, and mice on my property. Kevin is always friendly and timely with coming over to help me out. My dog is absolutely obsessed with him and I really appreciate how friendly he is and always makes sure that my dog is inside and I know when he's there so he can do his work. I have had Sentinel servicing my house for over 3 years and I appreciate the continuity of care, quality of their work, and the value. Definitely recommend. read more

Christian was excellent. Extracted yellow jackets and sizable nest from above our bedroom ceiling! He showed up same day as jackets entered our home. An opening in drywall exposed the nest. Highly recommend this company! Everyone on the team, from the front office women, to Erich (1st contact to diagnose our problem), to Markus (our ant killer) was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. We had a severe carpenter ant problem which showed up when we had a leak and had to tear into our walls (only to find their nest). We could book a time that fit into our schedules. The service techs will text or call to let you know when they would be at you house between the window of the booking (and they were spot on). Erich explained everything after his inspection, even had pictures and drawings, told us what the cost would be (and even had a discount for military and 1st responders), and didn't try to sell us a "package deal" (carpenter ants usually one-and-done application). When Markus came on the day of application, he actually came earlier than his window (with the same 30 minute-out text). He explained everything and listened to our concerns. My husband has COPD and uses oxygen. The hardest part was being out of the house for a couple of hours after the application. We consider that a small price to pay for protecting our home (carpenter ants eat wood). Thank you Sentinel! Hoping that we won't need to use you again, but if we ever have a pest control problem - you will be the ONLY company we will work with. read more

I can't even understand how there are only 4 reviews on here. If I had the time, I would write 18 more to really give you a thorough idea of how much I appreciate this team. Kevin is our tech and has been since we bought our house. We text on the weekends to ensure the service timing for the following week works for our schedule. I text him when I have an emergency and he responds faster, and with more assurance, than my mom would if I called her with a meltdown. Kevin virtually has held my hand through rats, ants and other problems we've encountered at our place. AND...we both love ice. I know this seems like a random comment, but when your pest tech and you have a HUGE fondness for ice - let me tell you how that creates more trust and camaraderie that you could even imagine. #pelletice Anyhow, Kevin shows up (more than my mom), Kevin comforts me (more than my mom) about the pest issues we've had and no longer have in our home. No show for an estimate appointment: So this happened with an appointment that was scheduled the evening before. Initially I was feeling lucky because they said that the soonest appointment was next day/tomorrow due to a sudden cancellation. Next day comes and no show! I called to follow up and they said the appointment was for the following day. Ok no, when you say tomorrow, that means tomorrow/next day - not the day after tomorrow. Not hard to misinterpret that statement. Anyways, waste of time - even if the estimates are free, it doesn't account for my time taken off from work waiting for them to show. read more
