i asked for ant and silverfish removal services. they responded fast and professionally. they came out and the two men were very kind, respectful, and informative. i was nervous but they worked quickly and sprayed inside and outside. they said the spray would dry in 15-20 minutes and it had no smell. they even putting some traps outside so the bugs stay outside rather than coming inside. very pleased to have them maintaining my home. :) read more

I contacted Bulwark about a Wasp nest in the tree in my back yard and they scheduled with me promptly. I appreciated that cause my dog goes and does his business outside and I don't want him to get stung. We had a mild to moderate sugar ant problem and finally after many months of cleaning and no improvement, we finally said, bring on the exterminator - after the first visit, they mostly disappeared for 3-4 days, then a resurgence like you wouldn't believe; we called them back several times thereafter, and I honestly felt like I had to explain to each associate where to lay bate, where to spray , etc- I would have loved someone to come in a just assess and take care of the problem , I'm not an ant expert over here - finally, after we were now 4 months in, and no improvement , only short the cash we were forking over for a monthly subscription- I told the rep, one final shot, please send someone and have them spray around the property- the rep came over, sprayed, saying he located two huge ant streams around the house (why did THaT take so long?) but , 1 week later, no change - they are everywhere and therefore we are looking elsewhere for support. This company has been so responsive. We started with a mouse in our walls. They came out and did a thorough inspection. They left some bait traps and sticky traps. After a couple of days, I foam sealed a hole and waited. The glue trap caught the lone mouse and we never heard it again. Then I called to say I didn't think we needed rodent service but had ants. Absolutely terrible service. When I made the appointment with Bulwark for spider control, I specifically mentioned that I want to de-web my backyard. The person who came in for service for the first time explicitly said they do not do de-webbing of the backyard. So basically I was misled to begin with. The service person when requested went in the backyard and came out within 2 mins. None of the webs were removed. When I called the customer service on the same day, they called the service person who was still outside my home. The person knocked and confronted me that I complained. Their customer service apologized and scheduled a second appointment. The person came in an hour early and did not have the professional courtesy to call. I wasn't home at the time, and the person left without doing anything and charged me for it. Bulwark does not have a communication channel between their service folks and customer support. Any notes the customer support folks make on your account will not be communicated with the service folks. You'll be left scrambling and begging them to do what you're paying for. I immediately cancelled my services with them. To be fair, the customer support people are nice and offered to help. I've been with Bulwark for probably 7-8 years now. Never had any issues. Staff is always professional and on time based on the text notifications I receive. In shopping around I believe that their prices are reasonable compared to the other exterminators in the area. We had a pretty mild case of fleas with our dog but didn't want to risk any chances so we went searching for a flea treatment. Got called by bulwark exterminating next morning after putting in a quote request on Yelp and promptly scheduled an appt. The pair of exterminators that arrived were very very professional and quite frankly funny and pleasant to talk to. There were in and out in about 20 minutes which was awesome because I had stopped by in the middle of my work shift to open the door for them. For a 2 bed 1.5 bathroom flea treatment we were charged $300+ tax with a 60 day warranty, which I think is very fair. We have been using Bulwark since we moved in 2.5 years ago. We had ants the week we moved in and they quickly came to service our house. They let us know that it would take a day or two for the ants to take the bait but to call them if they are still around and they would come to re-treat. I ended up calling them in again and within a day there were no more ants. Since then we've had quarterly treatments and have had minimal pests inside/outside on our home. We are notified the week of the service, the day before for the estimated time, and the day of, they will ring the bell to see if there are any specific issues or questions.
