If I could give this company no stars I would. Had a one time service in September and never received an invoice. Imagine my surprise when I get billed every month their after. When I tried to remedy the issue with the company they gave me the "Oh never in my 10 years has this happened" excuse instead of owning the issue. The icing on the cake however was that I received an invoice today trying to charge me for the fifth consecutive time. Is this a joke? Is this really how you do business? Bulwark responded quickly and setup a visit to solve my pest issue. I signed up for their recurring service plan (no contract which is rad). Renz came out to take a look at the home and yard and talked me through his approach, what he could and couldn't do etc. I feel very knowledgable about where my money is going and feel great about the work and value. Logan came to do a routine inspection today. Like all visits by Bulwark, the visit was 5 stars and above and beyond. What I mean by that is Logan does more than just spray the property. In addition to treating my home, he proactively sought out other risks and addressed them, too (e.g. getting rid of wasp nests). Therefore, Logan and Bulwark treat these routine visits not just as an attempt o fix a current problem, but also an attempt to prevent new risks from happening. So I think these exterminators should be exterminated. The service was ok. They don't really do all they say especially about the spider webs. We call to get rid of service. My husband and I both received over 10 calls still months after canceling to find out why and how the did and if we were happy with service. I eventually had to block their number. My husband didn't block and he still gets the call. Incredible! read more

Called trying to get some help. Because it's a raccoon issue and not the standard pest type removal, I wanted to ask them if they handled that before spending 5 minutes giving them all my personal information. I got a lady who answered the phone and immediately wanted my info. I explained before I'd give that I wanted to know if they even handled raccoons. She put me on hold to find out then came back and told me a "local partner business" did it. I said great, give me the information. She would not. Instead she went back to asking me for my personal info. I said no, I wanted the other business's information, and she refused. I finally made her admit she was going to play middle man and Bulwark would control communication and interaction with this "other business." I called on a Saturday, obviously I didn't have time to play telephone with several different parties, I needed to reach the actual business that would do the work and talk to them, not to mention the hassle of trying to do a transaction that way or the extra money wasted. Apparently Bulwark is too busy being a gatekeeper and acting like an agent for other businesses. No thanks. If you want to waste your time call here. read more

I really appreciate bulwark exterminating. Reuben did a great job for us today. One thing I appreciate about them, is that every time they come to spray our home. They send me a picture of what they've done. It's nice for peace of mind, (since I am usually at work when they come), to see that they've been there. This companies integrity is terrible. They came out to my property and did a half service. Then they said they sent out a guy for service , and when I checked my cameras, their service provider sprayed for 30 seconds hopped back into his vehicle and then left . Meanwhile, they turned around and billed me for a full service. I called them several times, asking them to do their diligence and make sure the job is completed. They continued to schedule and never came out , then billed me several times for no service at all. After not reaching me and running up charges , they then sent me to collections and tarnish my credit. I followed up with them and spoke to a manager by the name of Colleena , who asked me to aend her the footage from a year ago to resolve the issue. However, she also stated that since it's in collections, she can't do anything, which is a mixed message. Once she couldn't deedxalte the situation and became defensive, she pushed me to the next supervisor, Kari! This became the third person they sent me to on one phone call. Again , they ran us in a circle to only blame us for them, not providing their services, continuously charging us, and then sending us to collections. I recommend to NEVER , NEVER, NEVER use this company for service. Make sure you check their work diligently and your cameras because they will due the bar minimum. read more

Don't waste your money. I called them out for moles and was told they provide a robust service, including planting traps. The technician showed up unaware I requested a mole service, sprinkled my lawn with something, and left (what did he treat my lawn for if not for moles?) The receipt he gives me makes no mention of a mole service (attached) I clarify with the technician on the phone that their approach is to (paraphrasing) try different things at the technician's discretion; this means that they don't have a formal approach and just wing it. I find out that I get this treatment every other month with unlimited callbacks. I saw more mole activity, and the next callback appointment was a week away; the technician sprinkled the lawn and left again during the callback (did not provide a write-up of the service performed). Then it's more of the same: More activity and I have to wait another week for another dusting. This approach is too slow; I have a mole destroying my lawn, and this company wastes my time and money. This company seems disorganized at best and fraudulent at worst. They didn't know why they were showing up. They sprinkled my lawn with something but have not provided a written record of what (so I have no idea what I'm paying for). I'm still getting activity, and it's on me to plant traps and take other preventative measures (what I'm paying them for). My "service agreement" doesn't even have the word "mole" on it. In fact, it doesn't specify a service, just a term. read more

I am a customer of Bulwark from the Tacoma, WA branch. I originally reached out to Bulwark with a flea infestation, and they told me that they would work with me from the first visit and the following 90 days to treat the infestation. But I have to say, I've been very disappointed with the service. 1) The company promised to send me instructions on how to prepare for treatment--and I reached out two additional times for said instructions--but they never followed through to send said instructions. It never appeared in my spam filter too. 2) Upon arrival, the technicians said they would spray both inside and outside, but during their last follow-up visit, they skipped outside, missed 3 rooms (2 of which are connected to the source of the infestation), and refused to treat the attic or crawl space. This is a major concern of mine since we have an old, unsealed house that has fresh rodent droppings in the attic. 3) The technicians sprayed our pet supplies, such as beds, potty mats, scratching posts, and toys even though the spray is poisonous to animals. And I know this is partly because of us not picking up, but they arrived much earlier than expected and unannounced with no instructions on what they were spraying or treating. 4) They sprayed around most of our furniture rather than underneath it, even though most of our furniture is standing at least 6 inches off the ground and/or mobile and on wheels. This defeats the purpose of targeting the baseboard or perimeters of the room to keep pests out. 5) The technicians sprayed the power strips in our house, concerning since liquids are not meant to contact electricity. This could lead to short circuiting and/or ruin our internal wiring and electronics in our house. I don't know whether I'm disappointed because the quality of service is so low or my expectations are too high for what I would consider reasonable services. I called the local branch's supervisor to complain, but I expect I was lied to again because when I called, the responder told me they were the manager but refused to disclose their last name or phone number. Neither did they understand how the process of flea treatment worked when I asked. They said they don't know what technicians spray, either inside or outside the house. And when she commented saying she would send someone out, no one followed up. I don't know if this is the norm with Bulwark, but I am greatly disappointed with the unprofessional service and the amount of lying with the company. read more

We just moved into a house that had been infested with spiders and wasps. She was able to spray the entire home down inside and out. She also used a special organic material for the inside which is pet safe! She also scheduled a follow up to remove the wasps nest after the treatment has some time to sink in. Phillip was out today to do the next treatment in my plan. he explained what he was going to do and started work. After an outside inspection, he found carpenter ants, and 3 wasp & 1 yellow jacket near. He sprayed for the ants then knocked down the nests. he explained that once the nests were down the wasp & jacket swarms would relocate. He advised to wait an hour to allow for that. I requested a quote for pest control through the Yelp app and got a response very quickly. They asked great questions to confirm what we needed assistance with. The process was quick and easy to schedule someone to come out and their pricing was very reasonable. Logan came out to do the spraying around the house and take care of the moles in the yard. He was professional and wore a mask while he was in the house at our house. He answered our questions and got everything done thoroughly and efficiently.
