I called them a couple weeks ago for a quote to get rid of mice. The lady who answered the phone was polite enough in the beginning and answered my questions. But somehow, when I asked whether or not she could email me the quote information, that seemed to trigger her for some reason. You know that tone of voice someone takes when they're smiling through gritted teeth? That's what she gave me. She said they don't have the information in email form and "I don't have time to write it up for you". Then she reminded me rather gruffly that they've been in business for 30 years so "we know what we're doing", told me to have a nice day, and hung up. I decided to go with another company with better customer service. It's not even whether or not you could email me - I get it if you can't. But three decades of being in business is plenty of time to learn not to be rude. read more

We found a hornets nest on Sunday and were able to schedule an extermination by the following Tuesday morning. The prices were reasonable, slightly lower than other places we queried, and the timeline to remove the hornets was weeks faster than other pest control companies so it was a no brainer. Tim, our exterminator showed up right on time, we walked through the service, and he pointed out follow up items for us to keep an eye on, in case we have infestations pop up again. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough with his services. We will be keeping his card handy should we have any future pest control needs. read more

We contacted them on Monday because we found a large yellow jacket nest in our roof right above our back sliding glass door. They came out the next day and took care of the problem and cleaned everything up. We are so pleased and thankful for such great service. Don't waste your money with these guys. If you have rodents, hire a rodent exterminator who is also a licensed contractor. First off, the technician was 45 minutes late to the appointment. Second, he walked the perimeter and checked the basement for access points and found nothing. I asked if he would check the roof and he said that since they are not contractors, they are not allowed to go on the roof. Basically, we settled for not finding the source of the problem which they seemed ok with. The technician placed bait stations around the house and all but guaranteed me that these would solve my problem. The rodents are supposed to leave the house, eat the bait, and die 3 days later. I asked if the rodents would simply go back into the house and die, they said this wouldn't happen, but I don't know why not still. I called a week later saying that activity has not reduced, in fact, it seems as though the activity had picked up. I mentioned that I want to be more aggressive by opening access and attacking from the attic (which I don't currently have access to). She became very defensive and said that I was being impatient and that I needed to wait 5 weeks. I decided to wait. The technician came back a few weeks later and lo-and-behold, there was absolutely no activity in the bait stations. They were completely useless. They then tried to sell me on a continued subscription for these bait stations, things that you can buy yourself without paying someone to pretend to be an expert and search around your house. I ended up calling another rat exterminator who is also a licensed contractor. He pointed out what went wrong the first time and recommended cutting into the attic, where he will lay traps and remove the rats from the house. He will end up costing less than the money I wasted on "Aggressive" Pest Control. read more

I can't recommend APC enough! I called because I saw that wasps were starting a nest through a hole in my siding. When Tim the tech arrived and saw it, I explained that i don't have a problem spraying exposed nests and he immediately asked why I didn't just spray this nest. I replied that I have never dealt with an enclosed nest, so I called a professional. His response was: "You know, lots of people would try the spray first and then get stung and THEN call us." So basically we hit it off right away. He answered all of my questions and also gave me some advice on dealing with the sugar ants that are such a problem nowadays. Found some carpenter ants inside our house. Talk to my contractor who happened to be here for a project. He recommended me to have a professional pest control guy to come and do a perimeter-control by spraying insecticides all around the house at the foundation and have a wall void treatment as well . Search on Yelp and found Aggressive Pest Control offering this type of pest control service for carpenter ant control. Scheduling appointment with Teresa was easy and the good weather brought Tim to the job one day earlier which was great. Tim did the perimeter-control and wall void treatment outside the house, spot sprayed possible entrances, plumbings under sink in kitchen and bathrooms inside the house. I saw one ant for about 2 days after the treatment and no one single one after that. Tim has an idea but not sure where those ants came from, suspected they came from the yard to the garage and though possible crack/s inside the garage into the house. On top of Tim's treatment, I filled some cracks on the drywall in the garage, hoping those were their entrances and they won't come back again. read more

For several years, we have had carpenter ants outside and not just a few but thousands of ants. We have old railroad ties so they have attracted the ants. My request for advice about cleaning up rat droppings: met with thoughtful honesty, logic, and zero up-selling. Tim came to check the rat traps while I was out of the country and found that my basement was seriously flooded. Tim and Teresa are so great! We just bought our house and are first time home buyers. when we realized we had rodents it was overwhelming and terrifying to be honest. my husband and I are newbies or rookies as you will- & we didn't know what we were going to do! I made an appointment with them and 2 hours later I canceled the appointment. Then they said there was a 24 hour cancellation policy and that they would charge me $90. I told them, nobody told me about this policy when I made the appointment and that I made the appointment only 2 hours ago. They were very rude and said they were still going to charge me for $90 for the cancellation. I told them I will not accept them charging me $90 and I would fight it. I also told them that if you are this rude and intimidating then I definitely don't want to be doing business with you! read more
