Definitely worth the hype. It's probably one of the better meals. I've had the last several months and it was a client dinner. We chose to do the Omakase, but it's not like any Omakase I've ever had before. I've been to Morimoto's in New York and walked out hungry and had to go to a burger place to fill up my belly because I was still hungry. Zuma offers, exceptional choices, fish, meat, and desserts. I really felt like I had a special meal and I was in a group. The service was excellent. The bathrooms were ultra clean. And the staff was super friendly.

Great service from host to waitress. Food came out quick, was very flavorful overall. My favorite was the grilled tiger prawns and tuna nigiri sushi. The shishito peppers and spicy edamame were delightfully flavored as well. I did not care for the 8 oz ribeye steak mostly because of the sauce that the sliced steak was on top of. Ambience was lively and fun! The restroom situation was different and if there's anything I would change it would be that. The restrooms are 1 person use restroom, there is no sign that says male or female. If you look very closely then you would see a muted picture of what looks like a male and female next to the restroom but it was very difficult to spot. Also the lock was very difficult to figure out. Overall a great experience and I would recommend.

Dinner at Zuma in Las Vegas was an experience from start to finish. We ordered the Chef's Signature Selection for the table which requires everyone to participate, and honestly, it was the best decision. It turned dinner into a full culinary journey instead of everyone picking separate dishes. Course after course arrived beautifully plated and perfectly timed. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and delicate, the sushi selections were creative without being overcomplicated, and the robata grill dishes brought that smoky, rich depth that Zuma is known for. Every bite felt intentional and elevated. What I loved most was that the tasting menu allowed us to try dishes we might not have ordered ourselves and there wasn't a single miss. The flavors were bold but balanced, refined but still satisfying. It felt high-end without feeling stuffy. The ambiance is sleek and energetic, classic Vegas sophistication with a vibrant buzz. Service was polished and knowledgeable, guiding us through each course seamlessly. Yes, it's a splurge but if you're going to do Zuma, commit to the Chef's Signature Selection. It's the way to experience the restaurant the way it was meant to be.

Wow! Wow! Wowwww! Our 7pm dinner reservation at ZUMA in The Cosmopolitan was nothing short of deliciousness. Note that it is $$$$, so we strategically ordered just enough to satisfy our tummies from being famished. Our late night plan was to also have room for late night secret pizza, too! But, wow. First impression....5/5!! We ordered about two plates per person and devoured it family style. Shout out to our server Maggie, as well as the sushi bar chef's, Mateo and Luis, for preparing the mouth watering rolls. Probably the best sushi I've had so far in Vegas!!! Our party of six pretty much ordered every item on the Maki Rolls menu. But, my top favorites were the Chirashi Maki, Argun Negi Toro Maki with Caviar, and Ebi Tempura Roll. Chef's kiss!!!! We also thoroughly enjoyed the Prime Ribeye, Roasted Potato, Shiitake Mushrooms, and cocktails. Our finale was the special Chocolate lava cake with gelato. We could not stop raving about how good everything tasted! Excellent all around. The food, beverages, ambiance, and service were outstanding. The entire restaurant was packed and buzzing with excitement. I was surprised it was that busy on a Thursday night. Says a lot about this establishment. We had so much fun and I cannot wait to return!!

Had a girls' night dinner at Zuma inside The Cosmopolitan and ordered the signature omakase... because #treatyourself. Overall, it was such a fun experience. The ambiance was exactly what you want in Vegas: lively, stylish, and perfect for a ladies' night out without feeling chaotic. The omakase was beautifully presented and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sushi and sashimi were a standout with clean flavors, high quality fish, and thoughtfully paced courses. I could definitely tell that they focused on high quality ingredients. Service was the highlight of the night. Our server was attentive, kind, and made sure everything flowed smoothly without rushing us, which made the dinner feel relaxed and special. Overall, a great spot for a celebratory dinner or a night out with friends. I'd absolutely come back!

We loved the ribeye and shiitake mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly medium (my wife's pregnant) and was delicious! The seabass was cooked well though the flavors were just okay. The lava cake dessert was amazing - oozing chocolate-y goodness poured out of the cake once we put a fork to it and the vanilla bean ice cream was a perfect complement! Overall, great service and it was fun sitting right in front of the open kitchen/grill area!

This place is amazing. A little over priced but still amazing. Great date night spot if you're in Vegas. The food was amazing. It's served family style in small bites. I have a rezy there next Monday and am looking forward to it. Service was good. We ordered the omakasa and everything was brought out at a good pace. Overall we spent about 2 hours. Going to post a few pics, sorry I'm not listening what was what

Zuma Las Vegas was a great experience. The atmosphere and vibe were amazing, and the place just feels right for a night out in Vegas. Service was attentive and on point the entire time. The food was excellent. We had the soft shell crab, black cod, hamachi, sea bass, and the pork belly skewer -- everything was very good and well executed. No misses. Overall, great food, great service, and a really solid dining experience. Would definitely come back.

We're at the Cosmo so often that curiosity eventually got the best of us and we made a reservation for Zuma. We like to dine early, so the place was very quiet when we arrived. Even so, our server seemed to be in quite a hurry as she zoomed through the "dining experience at Zuma" and some specials. She was exhausting. The other men and women that assisted with service were great, immediately re-folding napkins, clearing dishes and re-filling water. I feel like once we said we weren't interested in one of the Omakase's or cocktails, our server lost interest in us. To be transparent, we don't love Japanese food. But we like steak and seafood so we were easily able to find things to order. We started with the softshell crab katsu ($27), which was two pieces of fried crab that were so fishy and unfresh tasting that we both left most of it on the plate. Off to a bad start. The food arrives as it's ready, so up next was a side of sweet corn (on the cob, $18). It was good. Probably the best thing we ate. Weird, right? Next came the 8-oz signature rib eye ($58), which had a nice flavor but unfortunately, arrived cold. Finally, the thing we were most looking forward to... the roasted 1.5 pound lobster with shisho ponzo butter ($91). This was really disappointing. There was a fair amount of lobster meat, but it was obliterated by the sauce... you could have been eating a sponge as there was just no taste of lobster at all. Here is the best thing and what we'll remember about Zuma... the walkway to the bathrooms has a fantastic view! And the bathrooms themselves are very pretty. So yeah.... the food is not worth the money but when you go to the bathroom, you'll see a nice view and some cool fixtures. Pretty dining room too. Food just didn't do it for us.

Fabulous experience! We didn't think to make reservations so we gladly sat at the bar and I'm glad we did! Our bartender was so kind and friendly and truly enjoyable. We started with some drinks and sushi and ended up ordering more sushi because it was delicious! It was very busy but still intimate and comfortable. Every single thing we ordered was perfection and so fresh and thoughtfully made. Highly recommended!

Not enough good things to say about ZUMA. After several sad misses at various restaurants ZUMA was redemption!! The ambiance was very festive and a wonderful hustle and bustle! Our server was Zee and she was great! I had wanted to enjoy the omakase special dinner which is a minimum of two and 228.00 per person but discovered it's a minimum of two people but the entire table must participate. I thought I was going to be very disappointed by this revelation but we quickly moved beyond this news and just started ordering! Every single item we ordered was better than the last. The tuna selections were absolutely amazing. Toro, chutoro, the sweet shrimp sashimi was so yummy and it's been a while since I've seen this on a menu. The special roll they were making that night was magic! Topped with caviar this chutoro tuna roll was so good, we had to order another! The salmon belly was charred to perfection and still managed to finish it medium rare. The steak, to die for. Fresh grated wasabi was a treat, drinks were perfect. Plate after plate were shared with great enthusiasm. We ate with abandon and it was the most satisfying meal of the trip. I can not wait to return to this Cosmopolitan restaurant worthy of the attention and reputation.

Hubby and I were staying at the Cosmopolitan for our anniversary weekend and I made us some reservations at Zuma. Since our flight into Vegas was later on in the day, we had no expectations about this place and booked it out of convenience since it was right in our hotel. After coming here, I can easily say that this is one of our favorite restaurants we've ever been to! THE MOOD: The vibe of Zuma is hip, trendy, and modern. It feels upscale as you walk in and the bar area is nicely lit and had great mood lighting. It's a great place for a date night, especially with the ambient lighting throughout. There's several spots throughout the restaurant where you can see food being made. We sat at the countertop and were so glad we did since it felt like we were getting dinner and entertainment right in front of us. THE FOOD: The food was exceptional! We ordered the following: - Salmon and Tuna Tartare with imperial oscietra caviar (10/10 on presentation. The chips that come with it were so tasty - the waiter brought out even more for us since we went through them so quickly). - Toro roll (super fresh, fatty, melt in your mouth toro) - Lobster tempura, takama, truffle and crispy rice (loved the crispy bites) - Kurobuta pork belly with yuzu mustard miso (my favorite dish of the night - fatty, sweet, savory) - Sweet corn with shiso butter and shichimi pepper (perfectly cooked and the butter throughout really brought out the corn flavor). - Lava cake (super decadent and the chocolate tasted super luxurious) - Strawberry rhubarb honey toast (refreshing and the cake was very moist) THE 'TUDE: I cannot express enough how much I appreciate good service and our waiter was just on point throughout the whole evening. Everything was timed so well. As soon as we were done with one plate, another one was right in the wings ready to be served to us. He came by to check on us at all the right times and was just really attentive without being overbearing. OVERALL: With the great vibes, excellent food, even better service, and the convenience of it being at the Cosmo (our favorite hotel to stay at while in Vegas), we will definitely be back!

Just can't get enough of this place. It really makes me feel like I'm living inside of the show Sex & the City! The NYC feel, upscale, good music, elevated vibes. But the food is just other-worldly. I will come here for every special occasion. Still believe it is the best restaurant in all of Las Vegas. Jason, Anthony, Shaun, & Justin were all very helpful and just felt great to have such nice staff helping us have the best experience.

I have never been to a sushi location that the service is this spectacular. Table always cleared away of empty dishes and the speed of how fast the food comes out is INSANE. You don't get the feeling of them trying to rush you out. The ambiance of this place is on another level. I feel like I am at a club. So if you want a nice and quiet dinner this is not the place for you. But if you want to come with friends and have a good time then this place is a must try! Our waiter was Francisco and he is a freaking rockstar. Always on top of it making us feel welcome and comfortable. Explaining the entire menu and keeping everything on point. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

Not sure why this place is rated so high…read more I'd probably give this place around 3 stars overall. The food honestly wasn't that great compared to other spots in the area. It wasn't terrible by any means, but nothing really stood out and there are definitely better places if you're specifically craving Japanese food. What really bothered me though was the pricing situation. We came during their lunch AYCE hours, but because there was a festival going on that weekend, they decided to charge full dinner price instead. So I am docking off another point for the owners being greedy. Service itself was okay, just not enough to justify the higher price they charged us.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.
