Their clothing is gorgeous, high quality, and unique. I was elated when I saw they had opened a store on State Street in Santa Barbara. My first visit was to buy a gift for a friend (she loved a pair of wide leg linen pants I had and I wanted to get her something similar). I found the item I was looking for and asked the cashier what the return policy was. I never asked before because when buying for myself, I make sure I 100% want the item and it fits perfectly, as I hate to return stuff. I was told I could get my money back if I returned it within 14 days with receipt. After that, it was store credit only. The pants did not fit my friend, so I went to return them. I was told I could only get store credit. I phoned the Ojai store and explained what happened, and they allowed the return for cash. I will not go into detail as to how I got treated when I returned the pants once again to store manager Andrea. It was the most obnoxious, ungracious way to treat a great customer. So for all of you who go shop at Kariella and I highly recommend the store, just avoid dragon Andrea. You can't miss her : hair uncombed, tattoos all over, bare stomach hanging over clothing that is 2 sizes too small for her weight, looking like she just came rolling in from having spent a night in a biker's bar.
