    XL #2. Zorba's Super Combo

5 out of 5 now and always! We absolutely love this place. The pizza is consistently amazing every single time! The mozzarella, the sauce, the crust... everything is just perfect! My husband and I actually drive 2 hours just to come here and it's always worth it! Everyone on the team is always friendly and helpful, and we love the cozy, mom and pop feel of the place 12 years later, and this is still our favorite pizza spot We wouldn't drive 2 hours for just any pizza!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff and waiters were very helpful and welcoming. Initially, I wasn't willing to really enter the place since it kind of looked as if it was a basement on the side of the road. However, as I entered the place, I noticed that it had a surprisingly cozy atmosphere. The place was an International Pizza Challenge winner twice, in 2017 and 2018. However, we did not order pizza and decided to order pasta instead. Their portion sizes were quite large compared to some other restaurants. I noticed two things though: the selections of their beers were limited, and some seating areas were uncomfortably warm. This doesn't affect my review, however. The pasta was amazing overall. It was quite the hearty meal we were looking for after a long day. Overall, I think it is a great place to eat.

We did it, finished the 32oz. Team effort!

We've been coming to Zorba's for 20+ years. As kid, we'd come with friends after games, practices, birthdays, you name it. It's always been one of our spots. Nick has always taken care of us. There's always some good banter and laughs, which makes it even better. If we're not there in person, we're ordering it at home. It's a family staple at this point. We LOVE the Sopranos pizza, always hits. Little Heads up, the "large" beer is 32 oz The bar is recently updated and is really nice. No matter your group size, everyone fits comfortably. Super easy, great for families, and just one of those solid, family-owned local spots we'll go to forever Thanks Zobras and Nick!

Very quick service, street parking, the vibes give off old school pizza and pasta restaurant! I would go here for casual dinner or lunch Or even a memorable date night!!! We got the Zorba seafood pasta and the spaghetti & meatball. So yum! Reminds me of home cooking!

I really like their pizzas and order from here only when I'm in town. Can't go back to another pizza place with this around. Too bad they don't have a shop out where I live. Pizzas are so flavorful and the crust is just how I like it.

Fourteen years in the making, and I'm thrilled to finally update my dismal review on Zorbas. For family-run spots like this, a single review can feel like gold. In my 20s, I probably believed I was doing something noble by "commenting on the carpet." Spoiler: that was hilariously off-base. The real story here is the food, the atmosphere, and the people who make it special. What I ordered and loved Super Combo pizza: this one deserves ten stars. Feta, sausage, fresh bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms come together in an unlikely, perfect harmony. Every dish I've tried at Zorbas has been excellent. Truly, all of them. Ambience and service Nick is the standout--host, server, and bartender--all in one. He anticipates needs, keeps everyone well-fed, and creates a welcoming vibe at every table. Great option for family dinners, friend nights, or a casual evening out. The beer and wine bar adds an extra layer of enjoyment for a relaxed local night. Final thoughts If you're looking for a place that feels comforting yet excitingly fresh, with consistently top-notch food and a warm, attentive team, Zorbas is it. Support your local gems and treat yourself to a night out where the flavors do the talking--and the staff makes you feel like family.

We had a wonderful experience at Zorba's Pizza! The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad and pizza, and both were excellent everything tasted high quality and made fresh. The atmosphere and service was perfect for our family outing. My husband enjoyed being able to watch the baseball game on the TVs while we ate, and my daughter had so much fun playing the arcade game. It's such a great spot for families because there's something for everyone to enjoy. Great food, fun environment, and welcoming atmosphere we will definitely be back and hope Nick will be our server again!! Excellent!!

    Outside of business

Stopped into Zorba's for an easy dinner. Nick was our server and did a great job taking care of us! We ordered the Greek salad and super Zorba pizza. The salad came out with lots of olives and cheese and 2 containers of dressing- they did not skimp! It was delicious. The small pizza was so much bigger than expected and we couldn't finish it. It was loaded with LOTS of meat and veggies. The mushrooms were fresh- not canned- THANK YOU!!! The pizza was made of the freshest, softest dough- what a delight! The prep style of the pizza was different than a traditional pie- dough, sauce, mozzarella cheese.... then all of the toppings and feta cheese on top- ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend! Great food! Great service and plenty of good cold beer!!!

A sleeper of a place, old time style. A friend wanted to put together a get-together weeknight dinner in Millbrae and I suggested the legacy pizza place formerly based on Daly City. My friend is more familiar with the area suggested coming here as we met around 6:15 pm on a Thursday night. One friend and I shared a pitcher of iced tea (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=XMa6DBEb6TungGMZiFcz1A) while our other two friends shared a pitcher of Diet Pepsi. All of our foods were eaten family style. We started with the calamari fritti (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=MX4d8xVAeEovbwTH6XmxIQ),described as made to order, fresh calamari hand-battered & fried golden brown; we were given both tartar sauce and a marinara sauce for dipping. My friend also requested a side order of meatballs (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=aPgmkkby9Mou5X3dfrTlWA), an off-menu item, served with a generous amount of marinara sauce and topped with Parmesan, which the waitress helped us order; there were four meatballs (4), one for each of us. My friend was curious in ordering a mini of their Award winning pizza (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=Dsc_a_as6qD3-AidbRa6GA)m described as cup pepperoni, ricotta, mushrooms, Parmesan; it was tasty and the ricotta made it a heavier or richer pie but it was definitely hearty. We also shared a medium O Sole Mio (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=q-W1aH6rkPPfjGb3RiIajw), salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage and mozzarella; this is a meaty combination that was pretty good and my favorite of the three pies. I suggested doing a clams and garlic pizza and our waitress recommended the Santorini seafood pizza (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=ttlIB64-oOVT9veTrf8nxg), which we got in a medium size; baby clams, shrimp, fresh garlic, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella. I only found this okay as I am not a fan of shrimp on a pizza other than that long-closed Wolfgang Puck spot on Post Street that had a spicy shrimp one. There were 3-4 pieces of shrimp on each slice which overwhelmed the clams which seemed more of a garnish. The starters were both good and as described. Besides our waitress, a young gentleman was the main person who brought our food, removed our empty dishes, and filling my request for more ice for our iced tea pitcher. Being the 2nd party in the restaurant after 6:15 pm, the dining room filled as we left as most wall side booths were taken as well as a few large tables. From the front, a couple friend who live in the area commented that they never knew there was a dining room judging by the street frontage. It was a hearty meal and those large to XL pizzas were huge as we saw a neighboring table share one (party of eight) with a couple smaller pies. if you enjoy thicker crust and more filling pies, you'll enjoy this, especially fresh while there. I must admit, it lost some luster when I reheated it at home.

    Combination large pizza

Service was excellent. Both servers checked on our table to make sure we were ok. The pizza is really good - thick outer crust and not too thin bottom crusts. The combination pizza had the right amount of cheese and the toppings are very sizable. Parking is on the street or on Capuchino Ave. a large pizza was 10 sizable pieces. Get your fill.

Upon arrival, we were told that another party was finishing up, and our table would be ready "in 3 minutes." Fast-forward to 30 minutes later (7pm) and our table still wasn't ready. We decided to just sit outside (despite this not being our preference and - again - we had a 6:30pm indoor reservation). An employee (said his name was Will) was friendly and apologetic - apparently 2 large tables rolled in without notice which threw off their planning for the evening. We understood and were empathetic, but at the same time, there was more that could have been done. Will mentioned that the party sitting at our table had already paid but continued to sit there, as if there was nothing he could do about it. However, I (and I'm pretty confident most people) have experienced being asked politely to wrap things up during a busy service when other guests are waiting on the table or have a reservation. Since he prioritized their table over us, he could have offered to comp us something small, but he didn't do that either. Food was tasty though prices were a bit steep. We also ordered 2 cocktails and were surprised how small they were. One final note: I originally ordered the Lavender Spritz cocktail. I was then informed they were out, so I tried to order a Last Word. Unfortunately, our waiter was unfamiliar with it. I asked if she could check with the bartender, and if they couldn't make a Last Word, I would take a margarita with tajin. She then asked me "what's tajin?" At that point, I gave up and told her I just wanted a regular margarita. Pretty disappointed as I've been dying to try Cafe Figaro for months after reading all the great reviews.

It just felt distasteful but we also didn't feel rushed out. I think it started getting really crowded around 6:30. The tables were also very close together, I think they tried to stuff as many tables as they could since it was Valentine's Day. There wasn't a lot of room in between tables to even go to the restroom. We were seated near the entrance as well so I had people bumping into my chair whenever they came in. We ordered the Gambas Al Ajillo, Paella and the short ribs. Gambas Al Ajillo: good flavor, a little spicy/sour but was just a little bit too salty. Paella: This was really good, but not the best i've had. I still prefer the paella from Picaro. There was a lot of toppings but I feel like there wasn't enough rice. Short Ribs: These were good, but I feel like it was expensive for what you got. It came with potato wedges and mixed veggies. Some of the meat was also a little bit tough, but the other pieces melted in your mouth. Overall, I would come back! Staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was good.
