Outside of the restaurant. Beautiful night.

We love Zorba's. We've been eating here as a family for over 15 years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is decorated with Greek decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].. And the service is always good. Family owned. Their pita is shipped in from Chicago and it's always fresh. Tzatziki is outstanding... The Euro platter is one of our favorites. Great chicken... The Greek potatoes... Everything is good. We BYOB... There's a small charge for glasses. Order the Saganashkee... And enjoy. Two of our daughters always choose this place for their birthday. Sometimes we just go because we just love it.

Came here on Wednesday night for an after work dinner. Was seated immediately and our server Alex came over right away to take our drink order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While waiting for the drinks we had some time to look around and see how pretty this place is as well as nice calming music playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After our drinks came we ordered an appetizer and entire. The appetizer was this awesome flamed tableside cheese that was absolutely delicious. The entree was incredible but the star of the show was this in house made dessert Portokalopita an absolute must try. One of the best desserts I've ever had. My night was a definite 5 stars and I will make sure to be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you Alex for a great experience. You made the night that much better.

We were frequent flyers at Zorba's many years ago when we lived in far North Dallas. We no longer live nearby but we're in the neighborhood and decided to visit. Unfortunately, the food was not nearly as good as we remembered. Just average. The saganaki was excellent, but the souvlaki was tough and dry. The Greek potatoes and the gyro meat could've been cooked more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It may have been an off night, as it was not very crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was cozy and felt very authentic with the decor and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really wished I lived closer so I could try more!

We had a great lunch at this little Greek spot. As someone who eats gluten free, I was really impressed with their gluten free menu and how accommodating they were with dietary needs. I ordered the Greek village salad, dolmas, and the lamb souvlaki platter, and everything was fantastic. They also had gluten free bread, which was such a nice surprise and really delicious. I finished with the rice pudding, which was also gluten free and absolutely worth it. Our server Ricardo was wonderful and very helpful when we had questions about the menu. It made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it, especially for anyone looking for good gluten free options.

Zorba's Greek Cafe in Plano is the best place to go if you want authentic Greek cuisine. From the Salonika Pepper and Saganaki to the deliciously fresh, handmade desserts like, my favorite, Portokalopita. A refreshingly moist orange cake with a sweet light glaze. YUM! The service is stellar and we've been lucky to have Ricardo almost every time as our server. His knowledge of the menu is legendary and he got us hooked on the Salonika Pepper appetizer....although, you can never go wrong with the Saganaki. It's a real crowd pleaser OPA!!!! Zorba's is conveniently located in the Preston Parkway Center. Close to Baylor Hospital and the President George Bush Turnpike. Go Get Your Greek On!! OPA!!

We came by here for lunch. I went with the Gyros salad. The Gyro meat was delicious and the highlight of the dish as the salad was pretty basic. It featured iceberg lettuce and not much else (e.g. 2 olives total on the salad). My husband went for the Gyro platter. The meat on his dish was also delicious, but it was the way the potatoes were prepared that seemed to top the dish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the place is rustic and hints at its Greek roots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was friendly and the foot came out quickly. We saw other items on the menu that we'd like to come back another time to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It also appeared they have a place for live music and that could make for an interesting dinner out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great spot for a tasty filling meal! We love Greek food and this hit the spot! Walking in, everyone is super friendly! We got sat right away. Service was quick and friendly! Our server gave us some great recommendations! We started with the beets, the trio, and the falafel! All were great in the palette! Then we got the Saganaki and a gyro salad followed by baklava and a cheesecake baklava! Mmmmm!!!! Two of my favorite desserts rolled into one!

Delicious food at a very reasonable price! You certainly get a ton of food and will not leave here hungry. The grilled octopus was really good. The slices were really thick and full of flavor. I typically hate falafel, but I tired it here and it's not that bad. Certainly still will turn my nose to it but that speaks volumes if I didn't choke when I tried it here. The service was really great. Excellent little spot for a small work meeting. Not to loud and fancy enough.

Given it was 12:30pm we were happy to see this place was quite full but still had a table for the 2 of us inside. There is a terrace which might be an option for our next visit. Yea you read that right, we will definitely be back. For lunch we ordered the octopus appetizer which was nice a tender, perfectly grilled and simply served with the most perfect vinaigrette. Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. I chose the gyros salad and my wife the baked haddock with Greek potatoes and string beans. Both dishes were perfect. Not too fancy and just what the doctor ordered. Overheard several tables around us that they were repeat customers so we must have stumbled on to something good. So if you are thinking Greek, check this place out. You won't be disappointed

The main dish just wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't because it wasn't well made, it was more of a texture preference for me. The potatoes were a little overcooked for my liking, although a friend at our table said his were great. I did, however, love the gigantes! Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.

Husband ordered their beef plate with rice and salad for $14.99. Both plates came with a huge pita bread. Portion sizes were huge! I really liked their pita bread. It was really good and chewy. Only downside is their meat. They give you a lot, but the chicken was dry and overcooked. They also slice the meat really small, so I wasn't a fan of that. Beef was cooked well, but wasn't a fan of the small slices of meat. They don't have water, only bottled water in the fridge. They do have a hot water dispenser though. Friday night around 7, not busy at all. Overall, it wasn't bad. I would be fine with just an order of their pita bread with hummus.
