They do not inspect their vehicles. We purchased a used 2013 Infiniti QX56 from them. As soon as my husband brought it home the key fab wouldn't register. I couldn't drive my kids to school the the next day without touching the fab to the push button. They claim they had no idea- even though they had the vehicle for 14 days. So I purchased a new battery for it. Then the tire sensor light went on. Now day 2. I then realized it had four different tires on. The locking lug nut missing on a few. Day 3- service engine soon light went on. took it to autozone to code it and it needed a new catalyst converter. We then had to drive it over an hour back to dealership to have them fix it. Yes they fixed it- but they lied about the timeline and who would be servicing it. I then went to purchase 4 all new tires since I was told how horrible it is to have different tires on an and vehicle for its suspension- it swayed horribly when I went over any bumps- and was told that all 4 tire sensors were removed/missing. Another $380 needed. This was THE worst used vehicle experience. I would NOT recommend. read more

Zone Motor's Chicago at 525 W Fullerton Ave, Addison, IL 60101, the experience was absolutely smooth and pleasant. The sales associate Ray and Joe were very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He explained everything about the vehicle that I didn't see at other Mercedes dealers that I had test driven at. Not pushy, or aggressive selling but confident and gave us our space and let us make the decisions under no pressure. They gave us the time to decide and encouraged us to explore and research. I didn't get this experience anywhere else. The buying experience was smooth and very nice and the sales person's Ray & Joe got us a good deal. This is a great place to buy a Mercedes. No high strung, bottom line aware aggressive pushers sales and service guys here. Just normal, knowledgeable, and regular people who know a lot about Mercedes. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how my interaction and sale went. We got the deal done and we were in and out quickly with a new car. Fantastic customer service. Ray is the owner of this small auto sales company. I purchased a 2003 BMW CI convertible that has a broken control arm. Ray assured me he would order the part and I could take the car and come back "any time" to have the control arm installed. Many months went by because I own a business and I am busy. I called over 4 months after I purchased the car. Ray "checked with the mechanic" and said, "if we had a part it was returned." I reminded him of his commitment to this sale and he said, "I cannot remember what I ate for lunch today, let alone what I said 4 months ago." He further stated, "How would he know I am not asking him to do something based on the wear of the car?" I said very simply, you can look at your part purchase history at the time I purchased this car and you will see that part purchased, for obvious reasons. Because of the way this conversation was going, I said I will write a review on this experience if this install is not taken care of. He said, "Go write your review." So here it is! "Joe" is a super salesman. I inquired about a vintage (1988) Bentley Mulsanne S listed in Autotrader. Joe responded with a telephone call within one minute.....yes, I said "1 minute"! Bottom line is that Joe (whom I had never met or spoken to before), in Addison, Illinois sold me a car (in coastal southeast Georgia) that I had never seen or touched before over the phone. We wrapped up the deal from the first phone call to ready for delivery including paperwork in less than 24 hours. That's what I call a super salesman! read more

Saw their ad on car guru and went to look at it. I asked if they would have some dings and scratches fixed and they agreed. Test drive was great. Best price in town and lowest mileage of any similar cars available. They did what they promised and gave me a reasonable value on my trade in. I have had no surprises with the car. I recently made the HUGE MISTAKE OF BUYING A BMW FROM ZONE MOTORS!!! this car is a complete LEMON. The motor needs like $5000 worth of work. Its is NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. On top of that the car was supposed to have an extended warranty which her charged me but he never actually issued it. Now it is impossible to get a hold of the Owner his name is Ray. They do not return my calls and just stoppes picking up my calls completely. This WAS THE WORSE MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO YOUR SELF A A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE. I told them that I want an honest answer about the result of my application and please don't waste my time the same as what other dealers do. I found the car I was looking for online at Zone Motors and dealt with the general manager Ray. He was very responsive to my questions and provide all documentation quickly. He assisted with my online car purchasing experience. He was accommodating to my selected auto appraiser who inspected the car and was very honest and up-front on the condition and state of the car. We reached a fair price and he assisted with completing the sale quickly. There was no pressure or issue with getting Ray on the phone or email requests. After the sale he was very responsive to questions and assistance with the shipping and paper work process. This was one of the best car buying experiences I have had in over 25 years and 5 vehicles. read more

I have the biggest headache from buying a vehicle from this dealer. I bought my vehicle 7 months ago and after 5 months of owning it the engine blew up. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealer from any vehicle. First off a vehicle should last more than 5 months just regular maintenance. Second, I paid a good amount for it and now its gone. I bought a 2006 BMW Z4 from these guys and I will never buy from theses guys again. I had to jump through so many hoops to purchase the vehicle that I almost didn't buy it at all. When I got the vehicle it had so many things wrong with it that were never disclosed ie. broken rearview mirror, torn soft top, turn signal lights not working, third brake light not working, both tires in front had belts showing, and the windshield washer pump didnt work. and alot of these things are safety issues that were never taken care of. but they did a safety check on it before they shipped it to me...BS. I had to fight with these people tooth and nail to get anything done at all. Dont listen to Karim or Kyle, they are both liars and will tell you anything to get your business. Worst place on the planet to buy a vehicle from. If I could give them a negative rating I would. I've also reported them to the DMV for selling unsafe vehicle ( which they are being investigated for) and the BBB. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I purchased a 1999 Range Rover listed as dealer inspected with no known mechanical problems. The vehicle is completely and profoundly rusted, and proclaimed unsafe by my mechanic. The vehicle will not hold gas; the vent in the gas tank is plugged. The vehicle is throwing service codes and is in very poor condition. I have tried to reason with the dealership.They spoke to my mechanic and lied to me regarding the conversation. I sent extensive photos of the damage to the structure. The car's interior is poor; I was willing to overlook that. I have copies of emails from the seller, photos and my mechanic's report. The vehicle was misrepresented, and I feel they were negligent in selling something not road-worthy and unsafe. I have asked for a partial refund, I have offered solutions, and been polite and non-confrontational with the dealer. Their usual response to a bad review is to say that the consumer is "not in their system." I have posted my invoice on my Google review. Avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

I am blown away by the customer service at Zone Motors. They are a group of extremely polite, fair, and honest individuals. I dropped by the dealership without an appointment (not realizing that was the procedure), but Joe greeted my mom and me and was ready to offer his assistance. He was quick to answer all of our questions and provided honest answers. The lady at the front desk (I am so sorry that I do not recall your name) was extremely informative and helpful with the information she provided. She took the time to explain some financing details that helped to make numbers more clear. Ray introduced himself to us both and was also very informative and helpful. He worked very hard to try to make things work for me. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances, I wasn't able to purchase the car of my dreams from them. Even though things did not work out in my favor, I am so very appreciative of each of them for taking their time to work with me. Worst customer service ever, I drove an hour to finally purchase a car that I been researching for the longest, young guy called "Karim" miss lead me into coming into the store after I told him I was on my way to purchase the care 2 hours before arriving, he knew I was settled on the car and told him to inform me if anything pops up after arriving there he approached me by saying "I just sold that car" "but let me find you a new one" I kindly rejected the offer he seemed bothered by it and responded "it is what it is you couldn't get the car", turns out the couple who bought the car paid 1,000$ more because he had said there was someone else who was interested and wanted us to bid on the car often making rude face gestures and talking bad about me to the person I came with saying "some women are super complicated like this one" and super pushy on getting a more expensive car cannot believe this guy really called me in to make me bid on a car with another person and push different type of cars on to me after I made it clear I wasn't interested. read more

Karim was very helpful & they did things to the car I purchased, before driving off the lot, like a brake job & new tires, and I could tell that the engine oil was also changed beforehand, it was nice & amber, not dirty at all. Was happy with the price, the overall condition of the car could have been better (went to a body shop afterwards which improved the overall aesthetics) - BTW, Karim was nice enough to refer me to the body shop that did the work, with much improvement, and I didn't spend a lot of extra money on it either, to get it looking better. Karim was also helpful in showing me the way that some of the features of the car I bought worked, and the overall experience of the purchase process went a little smoother & faster than purchases made in the past at other dealerships, when buying new, versus used, in this case. I would go back to Zone Motors to make my next purchase, within a year or 2, for a second car, which will be strictly a car, for commuting & work purposes. read more

This dealer was a disappointed for me. I spoke with Wally to schedule a test drive on the 2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo. He told me to come in and we set an appointment at 4:30 pm after I get off work. I got there at 4:28 and the car wasn't even out the lot for me to look at. Wally was not a professional car sale man. The first thing he asked me how do I intend to pay for it? I told him that if I paid in full do I get a good deal and he said the price is already low as is at $39,777. Also, Wally stated that this is a cash only dealership. That's bull crab on their website they clearly have a financing department. Then, I told Wally I wanted to test drive the vehicle and he said to me that because this is a high end car they do not allow people to test drive the vehicle unless they intend to buy it. He told me he can pull the car out and let me inspect it but not test drive it. I felt insulted and why would I drive an hour to get there and wasting my time just to test drives a car. I simply walked away and told him that I will find a dealer that's more professional and that will allow me to test drive the vehicle. I'm glad that I didn't do my business with this ZonemotorsChicago because I just bought a 2011 Porsche Pamamera Turbo a few days later at a different dealership with a fair price. My only advice to other is to be careful with this dealership you might be disappointed. Also, there were a lot of junks, salvage car parts around the building so don't expect this place to look clean like a normal car dealership. read more
