Located in a newer residential area in Oakville, this Chinese restaurant offers all day dim sum, some Cantonese dishes, and coffee bar items! It's part of a mixed use building, so parking is only parallel parking along the shops on Sixth Line -- on one side of the street. May need to park further in the residential neighbourhood and walk a bit.
It's a small space inside as well, about ten tables seating up to 6 people. They don't have circular tables, so it's not a great spot for large parties. If you want a table for 6 or more, I'd recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. Or, else expect a long wait, outside (they don't really have a lobby area for waiting). In warmer months, they put a coupe of small tables outside for patio dining. The restaurant is really nice though -- looks more like a modern cafe. It's warm, inviting and bright. But tables are tightly packed together.
Service is warm and friendly. It's often one young man serving the entire restaurant! During peak hours, the owners are help out to bring out dishes and clear tables. But it's often the one man taking all the orders. So be patient! He's always knowledgeable and helpful. If the owners would hire another person just as capable -- service would be even better paced.
Food wise, their dim sum has been consistent over several visits. They serve tea bag tea, but they have sourced some really nice ones. They usually have as many as 6 options available -- so don't just settle for the typical Jasmine tea. Cost is very reasonable and am SO HAPPY that there's a solid dim sum option in Halton. You can tell by the crowds -- mixed Chinese and non-Chinese alike -- that keep returning.
If you place online orders on weekdays, there is a 10% off discount.
Be sure to check out their special menus around the holidays. They have Lunar New Year menu out now!
