    The person who served me knew EVERY SINGLE customer who walked in while I was there. Supreme taste is at the center of its neighborhood and is the heart and soul of what Chinese food represents across Chinese communities outside the motherland. It's peace, comfort, and happy memories. Eating there warmed my heart, and I will pay them a visit anytime I am around the east end. Ah, and the food was absolutely delicious.

    Highly recommend this location! Not only because of the tasty of the food, but also the friendly of the owner and staff, and the warm atmosphere here will let you feel welcome at the moment you just step into the store. The owner knows every single guest coming to the restaurant and calls them by their name and remembers their favorite dishes. The second time I went to this place, they immediately recognized me, welcome with genuine smile, remembered my order and asked me if I still wanted it. There is no better service than the service with a genuine smile. I'll keep going back to this place.

    Super excited to see a retro Cantonese restaurant opening up here in East Chinatown with the sounds of Toisan being spoken by the staff. The Toisan people were the predominant immigrants prior to the 90s before the wave of folks from Hong Kong arrived and then other mainlanders in the 2000s. Back in the peak of Canto food in the 90s there were 5 or 6 larger sized restaurants in the area, but in the downtown core, it's really become a lost art, especially with Canto BBQ. It wasn't uncommon to see roasted chickens, ducks and pork hanging in the front restaurants every few meters then to the amazement of those from outside the area who'd gawk and stare at these windows not know the deliciousness of all of it if they'd only go in. Now these windows displays of bbq are a relic of the times and almost like an edible museum. When we lose this generation of older chefs, finding good or really any bbq is going to be a tough find as there aren't many young chefs taking over. It's a tough back breaking labour intensive gig. But for now it's great having a 2nd option again in East Chinatown or east of Yonge for that matter. Aside from this place and the one next door, there aren't many options in the east end until you get to mid-Scarborough. I got my classic combo of roasted duck and pork on rice. For me those are the two toughest things make and really shows the skills of the chef. Most importantly, the duck was moist and not dried out. The pork had that ever so desired crispy skin. So on first go, supreme reigned supreme and passed the test. One can only hope this is a start of a comeback and a revitalization of this once busy neighbourhood.

    Hey folks. A relatively new Asian BBQ resto on Broadview, south of Gerrard and should not be missed. Others had recommended it to us and they were spot on. We had the wonton soup, beef rice noodle and 3 kinds of barbecue (duck, roast and bbq pork). Fast and very friendly service. Great portions and fresh tasting. This is a keeper spot that should not be missed. The place was busy the whole time with take out as well as dine in customers. Parking is on the street.

    A newish Chinese restaurant in east Chinatown specializing in Chinese BBQ and Cantonese cuisine. They do classic dishes well, and the prices are very reasonable also. Most dishes are $12-$15 and under, and while the portion sizes are slightly smaller than some other Chinese restaurants, one dish is more than enough food for one person. If you're in the area looking for some Chinese food, you can't go wrong here! Authentic and great value.

    New restaurant in the old sing sing BBQ spot. Mother's Day lunch May 14. Hot & Sour Soup. Perfect Yin and Yang. Plump fresh shrimp & silken tofu. The small is huge. 3 kinds of BBQ platter. Bbq pork sliced thin & lean, duck was tender and juicy not fatty, soya sauce chicken. Served with that ginger green onion condiment that just elevates it. Large portion Cantonese Chow Mein. We asked for extra crispy noodles and it didn't disappoint. Fair enough portions of seafood & protein. Chinese greens as well. Seafood Tofu Hotpot. High quality braised tofu with shrimp, squid, white fish and scallops served in a steaming hot pot of Chinese cabbage and a silken sauce. Salt & Pepper Chicken wings. Lightly fried not greasy. Huge wings. With this chili flake sauce, salt & sweet peppers. Excellent ! Service is professional and moves at good pace. Tea free for now. Photos & bill attached.

    I was very hungry by the time I got there. My boyfriend was chatting to the owner a lot. He suggested this place for the BBQ duck. We first ordered the 2 mixed plate of BBQ items and the Supreme seafood fried rice, but later on found it may not be enough. The owner gave us another type of meat and charged us for the 3 BBQ mixed plate which is pretty good. The roast pork was juicy, usually at other restaurants it's pretty dry. I liked the BBQ pork as well, it's not too sweet as I like savoury food. The BBQ duck had a lot of meat. We asked for the leg portion and some meat around duck butt, my boyfriend's favourite. I like the meat consistency of the butt, but there is a strange taste that I just don't like. I'll stick to other parts of duck for next time. The place looks so new, probably renovated. It's medium sized dining area considering its in the old China town. The only small complaint is the temperature of the restaurant is colder than I've liked. Food is definitely top notch.

    Came in on a bitterly cold day, and was immediately welcomed with extremely friendly service and a hot pot of tea. My friend and I both ordered the wonton soup, black bean ribs, and some spring rolls and everything was delicious. Loved the atmosphere in this place! Will definitely be going back to try some of the congee!

    I drive across town to eat at this great spot. Delicious, affordable BBQ and Cantonese dishes in a clean and welcoming environment. The young owner Ben is super nice. Cantonese restaurants are few and far between these days. We are lucky to have one of this calibre in Toronto.

    Amazing barbecue duck and pork. Service is excellent and efficient. Normally I do the takeout but the sitting area is casual but attractive

The house special noodles came loaded with toppings like beef tendon, brisket, wontons, offal, and squid balls, so every bite felt hearty and satisfying. The broth was especially comforting with the noodles. The wonton noodles were a little lighter, but still very good. The shrimp wontons were huge, with a nice crisp bite to the shrimp, and the whole bowl felt especially soothing after a late night. The offal noodles were also impressive, with a very generous portion of offal and a fragrant touch of garlic oil that brought everything together. The four-ball noodle soup is a great choice if you are not sure what to order, since you get to try fish balls, squid balls, beef tendon balls, and sliced fish all in one bowl. My favorite dish of the night was definitely the fried dumplings. They were crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and soaked up that savory house sauce so well. Easily some of the best fried dumplings I've had. We also tried the chives and pork blood, which is a must-order for anyone who enjoys pork blood dishes. There was no unpleasant smell at all, and the seasoning with chives was just right. To drink, the iced lemon tea and lemonade were simple but refreshing, and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, this is a place I would gladly come back to when I want something filling, flavorful, and affordable.

We ended up ordering the Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($40), a whole fish served bubbling hot with three toppings (potatoes, spam, and lotus root). You can choose between catfish and turbot, we chose the turbot fish. It looked extremely spicy, but the spice level was actually perfect. It was a bit on the oily side, but pairing it with rice balanced it out nicely. The fish was very tender and buttery, everything tasted amazing! We also ordered the Stir-Fried Egg with Tomato. The eggs were soft, the tomato sauce was rich. Not to mention the portion size was huge, we even had leftovers after eating until we were full. If you can't handle spicy, then avoid eating the chili pieces and you might "survive". The restaurant decided to minimize their food offerings so that they can focus on refining their dishes in terms of quality and taste, including from customer feedback. We ordered the following: 1. Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($39.95). 2. Home Stir Fried Beef ($21.95). 3. Bullfrog with Baby Ginger ($19.95). 4. Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Preserved Pork ($15.95). 5. The BBQ Fish, a Turbot Fish, was very fresh and flaky, easily coming off the bone. There is no head attached like at typical Chinese restaurants but it would not have fit in the platter. The platter had a delicious sauce (soupy consistency and not sweet), luncheon meat slices, lotus root slices, and two other vegetables, along with chili pieces. The entire dish tasted great together with the various flavours. The menu listed it as 2-chili spicy but I could handle it by avoiding the chili pieces. The Home Stir Fried Beef is tender. It is listed as 3-chili but I could handle it by avoiding the chili pieces. The Bullfrog with Baby Ginger has the bullfrog cut up in little pieces; no you don't see a whole frog! The meat was actually good but most pieces have bones in it, so it takes time to eat it carefully. There was ginger slices in it but it, but we thought the slices were quite large! The Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Preserved Pork was very delicious! It came in a sizzling plate. The Cauliflower was flavourful and was not crunchy and not too soft. I've never had preserved pork slices before; it was quite good, not as salty as Chinese preserved vegetables. The Drunk Oolong has comes in a small bowl a with gin and ice. On the side, they include pieces of the charcoal roasted oolong tea leaves so you can smell it; quite a good smell indeed. You can also order it without the gin, which is what I ordered for mine (since I don't drink alcohol). It was such a nice drink! The Lemon Taro Balls dessert was pretty. In the centre was a slice of lemon. The customer service was good. There is plenty of indoor table and counter seating, including a small private room at the back. There is also an outdoor patio during warmer weather. There is pop music playing in the background. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are two gender-neutral washrooms downstairs, so they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-026

I love it. It is the Chinatown feel. Lots of older folk eating there and not in a rush. They're reading the newspaper or chatting away. Delicious duck inside. Good vinegar dipping sauce. Good volume Hot & Sour Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings: Fantastic and unique. The dumplings don't really need dipping sauce since inside there is a hot and sour soup along with pork. These are unique and delicious. Fried Wagyu beef taro croquette : pretty good but really tasted like a Jamaican patty Cold noodle with shredded duck : very generous with meat. Honestly a lot more than any other restaurant that serves this. To be fair no one charges this much either so it should. Flavour could be stronger but certainly decent. Fresh Mango, Coconut, Glutinous Rice Roll: nice fresh dessert. Our favourite. Frozen xiao long bao with chocolate and nut: Tastes like a mochi. Not bad. Dragonball Zen - fun name. Delicious drink. Jasmine Dragon Ball Infused Tanqueray Gin / Peach Liquor Lime / Rose Water / Mint / Seltzer Over $200 for this meal before tip. It's premium an debatable if with it.
