Dan Dan Mian Pork Belly Bao Roast Duck Bao Cool Sesame Noodle

Visited Zoe Ma Ma after an afternoon of shopping in Boulder. We were able to get a table easily around 5, but it got busy shortly after we ordered. Absolutely loved everything we ordered, but the Cold Sesame Noodle was hands down my favorite. Steamed Shrimp Dumpling Pork Belly Bao Roast Duck Bao Dan Dan Mian Cold Sesame Noodle

My husband and I shared: - Dan Dan Main - Cold Sesame Noodles - Pork Belly Bao - Roast Duck Bao - Pearl Meatball - Ma Ma's Potstickers - Vegan Dumplings - Goji Berry & Raisin Rice Cake I found this spot to be a little inconsistent. I absolutely loved the Goji Berry & Raisin Rice Cake, Pearl Meatball, both baos, and the potstickers. These could complete with the best Asian food I've had anywhere. The bigger dishes were a little disappointing to me. They weren't bad, but they weren't nearly as good as the smaller plates for me. I'd still happily come back to try the rest of the menu.

It was a drizzly day and we stopped by after a hike looking for some comforting noodle soups. I had some ordering remorse after placing my order because I thought the only menu was on the wall above the cashier but turns out there was a whole handheld menu you could look at on the counter. Oops. My husband and I both got a beef noodle soup and some potstickers to share. The beef noodle soup was flavorful and warmed us right up. Potstickers were tasty. Our meal and experience at Zoe Ma Ma was good, nothing too special though. However, I will note, it does seem to be a solid Chinese food restaurant in Boulder. I would come back to try some of their rice dishes.

honestly I need to give zoe mama its 5 stars because it is literally one of the only places that you could get this type of food in boulder. is it the best chinese food in the world? no, definitely not. is the flavor profile outstanding? no, but its decent. but what i'll say here is that it is really really good for what it is and where it is, and it does a lot of things (and they're all pretty good). highly recommend you get the buns and the CPR, they were unfortunately sold out of the lions head (狮子头) which looked pretty good but SAD! also take this with the caveat that I'm visiting from the bay where the chinese food is crazy and literally off the charts, but the service was great and the speed was also great.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat while discovering Pearl street. We saw a Michelin star rated pork and rice bowl on the menu so I decided to try it. The food was alright. The service was quick and friendly. The ambience was laid back and calm.

Food has always been great here, and the prices are reasonable. I got the two baos, which were tasty and enough for a meal. Service - food took a while to come out. On the plus side, I like that you can get your own water (preferable to waiting for someone or being interrupted in the middle of conversation). Ambiance - laid-back, and there are a bunch of tables inside, with the TVs showing food in Taiwan.

The kitchen staff at Zoe Ma Ma. Also, love the art/vibe of the interior dining space.

I'm in Kansas City dreaming of the lunch I had at Zoe Ma Ma. I wish I lived closer to Boulder, Colorado, but I'll be back just for their food! Zoe Ma Ma is known for its affordable 'street food' and is even listed on the Michelin guide. They speak the truth. There's a lot of pricier food stops in Boulder, but I don't know why you'd eat there when you can have handmade noodles at Zoe Ma Ma. If you look at the photo of my lunch, it's food porn. The vibrant colors, the careful arrangement of the food, but then you taste it...and it all comes alive in your mouth. On the left is the Dan Dan Mian (House-made fresh egg noodles topped with minced pork in a savory broth, spicy chili oil, Sichuan peppercorn sauce, pickled radish, scallion, bok choy). Wow was it good and for only $10. They could charge a lot more, but they are customer oriented. On the right is my side of Chillin Veggie (Medley of seasonal vegetables blanched, chilled, served with spicy Sichuan peppercorn dressing) for $5. It was a good foil in contrast to my Dan Dan. The menu is extensive and I wasn't sure what to order so I asked the guy behind the counter. He was friendly and offered his thoughts on what customers like, what he liked, and asked what I liked. I'm no stranger to spice, which is why I went with the Dan Dan. The vibe of the space is clean, contemporary and cool. When I took the photo of the kitchen staff (they probably are in a ton of photos) they were friendly and laughed. Zoe Ma Ma is a gem in Boulder. I want to eat their entire menu and will have to make many return trips. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Sichuan Braised Beef Noodle (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Only) - 9.3/10

Small cute restaurant great for a quick bite. Its a sell service kind of place where you order at the counter then sit down and they bring your food over. You get up to get your drinks, sauces, and utensils. Service was fantastic, the food came out pretty quick and they kept checking in with us if everything tastes good. Braised Beef soup was fantastic. The meat was tender and the broth was so flavorful. The duck Bao was one of the best Ive had so far. Will definitely come back!

They had a stall at the Dragon Boat Festival so I took the chance to try their food. They had what we call ba-chang and they call zong-zi. They are sticky rice dumplings and the ones I got had pork belly in them. While not as flavorful as I like, they were a reminder of my childhood and I still appreciated being able to eat them. Friendly and personable servers.

A quick snacking stop in pearl st mall. Simple menu, decent price and tasty. We had za jiang mian, it's very authentic and flavorful. Potstickers are great too but the pork belly bao is a bit too dry. For desert we had the goji berry and raisins sweet rice, it's awesome too

What a great lunch time spot on Pearl!! Got this for takeout. Really delicious food and fast service for a quick workday lunch. This place was so busy -- I would come back to sit on the patio with some delish Taiwanese food. Well deserving of their Michelin recognition

I wish I could love it; I love the concept. But the pork buns are 'meh', and the soup is too salty. Meh.

Red haired guy was a super rude gentleman, as if he was being fired after his shift. Attitude was horrible.

It really depends on what you get. The noodle was good, but other thing else I didn't try it.

We'd…read morenever gone to May Wah, but the reviews looked promising, and they serve Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai food. It was empty when I arrived. The man who greeted us was very nice and accommodating. More people arrived as we sat, including a woman who, it turned out, was also going to the Festival. I was choosing between Shrimp with Vegetables on the Chinese menu and a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Chicken and Eggroll. I went with the Vietnamese Bowl. My friend got the same only with shrimp. Both were delicious! There is a mild spice on the grilled chicken and it seemed like it might be the same one on the shrimp. I tasted hers. Delectable. And both were tender. The eggroll was nice and crunchy. The noodles were good. I would have liked more vegetables, and we both asked for more sauce. Not sure why they don't give more to start with. At other restaurants, I've always been served with enough sauce from the beginning. But he brought more of it promptly when we asked. I could only eat about half of mine. Because it was room temperature to begin with, hopefully the leftovers are OK having sat in my car for hours! The decor was nice. Tile on both the floor and walls. My friend really liked the walls and told the gentleman that he'd made a good choice! It all looks clean and cared for. I will go back. Hope you go, too! There are several restaurants in the shopping center there at Baseline and Broadway. May Wah is in the southern section, facing north.

I didn't have any of the food, sadly I didn't want to try it…read more I'm working a job site right out front of this building. They have lunch specials, so your meal comes with rice (which I don't like) and an egg roll with soup. it doesn't come with the soup though unless you dine in? I asked if I could just substitute the soup for the rice and it was like their brains couldn't calculate that request. It was simple. I HAD to dine in for it. Anyway makes no sense I didn't eat there looked nice though.
