Anthony, the business owner, personally drove out from Whittier to Laguna Hills on a Saturday to take a look. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and straightforward. He cleaned out debris, fixed the ducts, and made some key tweaks that completely resolved the issue, no expensive replacements needed. I still don't fully understand everything he did, but the system is now working perfectly and he saved us a ton of money in the process. If you need honest, skilled, and reliable HVAC service, call Valero Heating & Air and ask for Anthony. He's a great guy who truly stands behind his work. Highly recommend.

Valero got creative in finding a way to have two central air and 3 mini splits cassettes via heat pump system throughout our home. They were thorough and listened to the general contractor and us (clients) needs in getting energy efficient capability systems. To add, they have industry and commercial experience and found a way and provided an integration for our systems to connect to WiFi technology (able to connect with other app platforms like Google Home, Siri and Alexa) that is not the typical Thermostat devices. Their pricing was fair and reasonable. What impressed me most was their customer service demeanor and knowledge and willingness to find ways to get something to work even when it is complex. Thank you so much, Anthony !!!

John noticed my refrigerant levels looked 'low' but instead of just charging me for more Freon, he used his expertise to find the root cause: a second, extremely dirty air filter hidden in a wall vent that had been there since 2022! He saved me hundreds (maybe thousands) in unnecessary repairs and my AC is finally breathing and cooling perfectly. See pic for what the filter looked like. I had a drain clog last summer and another company fixed it but never found this extra filter!!

i just reposted my review due to I spelled his name incorrect. His name is Ector not Hector…read more Hello, My sister found AC Bros. online that can give free estimate. I only have POSITIVE comments for Ector and his company based on the factors below. 1) Unlike other AC companies, AC Bros gave free estimate to come out to inspect my AC unit. His company is located in South Gate, CA, but Ector did come out to my home in Irvine, CA to inspect my AC unit. 2) Ector's valuable and positive customer service, including HONESTY, FRIENDLY, QUALITY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, ATTENTIVE, TIMELY, AND PROFESSIONAL. 3) Ector also mentioned that four screws on my AC unit was missing when he did the inspection. He offered to put the screws back on, if I have them. I told him that I did not know what happened to those screws since my AC unit was inspected by another technician with another company. Ector was my technician in July 2026. He texted me when he was on his way to my house. He was very thorough in checking my AC unit which located on the side of the house under very hot weather in the mid 90 degree and the furnace unit located inside the garage. After he completed his inspections on the AC unit & a furnace unit, checked on the registers inside my house, and then turned on some electrical switches that were turned off by a technician with another company a week ago, Ector did confirm that NOTHING was wrong with my AC unit. After Ector's quality service, MY AC UNIT IS CURRENTLY WORKING VERY WELL NOW. Our family is very glad that I called AC Bros to inspect our AC unit. As a small token of appreciation for Ector's time. efforts, HONESTY, and quality customer service, I did give him some money for the gas since he came from Southgate to Irvine. About one week before I called AC Bros, I did call another AC company that I used in the past. That particular AC company did charge me $49 with a loyalty discount ($99 normal charge) for their technician to come to my house to do the similar inspection on my AC unit, like what Ector did. The technician with another company said it can cost me over 10K to repair my AC unit or around 25K - 30K to replace my AC unit due to the age of my AC unit. Thank you to my common sense, I decided NOT to go through with his NONSENSE recommendations. AGAIN, THANK YOU TO ECTOR WITH AC BROS. COMPANY FOR PROVIDING QUALITY AND HONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

After dealing with this issue for so long, it was such a relief to finally have someone who knew what they were doing and was honest with us. These guys are the best. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone having AC problems. Five stars is an understatement. They deserve 10 stars! Their prices are very reasonable too.

I started a…read moreproject through Yelp, and through the messages in the app, Andrea C. was able to help get us scheduled for a same-day appointment--which we truly appreciated, especially in 90+° weather! I'm sure they had many other clients dealing with similar HVAC issues, so it was such a relief not to have to suffer through the heat all day. Andrea was always quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and made the scheduling process seamless. They were also able to provide a diagnostic quote upfront, while many other companies would not give any estimate until they came out and saw the issue. I really appreciated that transparency. Even better, the diagnostic fee was applied toward the repair that was needed, which was another huge plus! Shortly before arrival, we received a text letting us know Marcelo was en route, including his photo, followed by a direct phone call with an estimated arrival time. Lemme start off by saying Marcelo was such an amazing technician! So now let's get into the meat our of experience. We were having an issue with our AC not blowing cold air, and after some quick troubleshooting, he already had a pretty good idea of what the problem was. Of course, he then followed up with his handy-dandy tools to confirm his suspicions! What really took the experience from good to exceptional was how helpful and thorough Marcelo was throughout the visit. While working, he shared lots of great tips with my husband about maintaining our AC unit, helping prevent future issues, and even reducing allergies in the home--which truly made a difference. He was also incredibly patient with all the questions my husband and I had, not only about the issue at hand but also about our other HVAC-related questions. We also really appreciated how respectful Marcelo was of our home. As an Asian household, we really value that extra consideration, and when he came back inside to check that the cold air was coming out after the repair, he immediately put on his own shoe covers without us even having to ask. That was a huge plus for us, because so many technicians forget or just don't care which was definitely not the case here! If possible, I definitely recommend requesting Marcelo to come out and assist. He is so nice, genuine, knowledgeable, well-articulated, and well-spoken. Marcelo, thank you sooo much again for all of your help--and Andrea, thank you for helping us get everything scheduled so quickly!

Last year we did a lot of research to get a mini-split ac unit for 3 bedrooms and a living room that would save money, good quality system and reliable installation from the professionals. We got quotes from 6 vendors and Temp Air Systems was the best of all. Jason was excellent and he explained in details the mini-spits ac which was the best option for us. They are licensed installer for Mitsubishi ac systems and when you go with them, the warranty guarantee goes up from 7 years to 12 years with of course there's a catch which you must maintain your systems annually with Temp Air to qualify to 12 years system warranty. I'm very pleased and happy with Jason and his expertise in the ac systems to help us guide in making the right decision and Angel as well who was leading the crew was excellent and extremely knowledgeable and experienced professional installer. His crew was great as well. We got a rebate for removing the heat furnace and a tax credit for heat pump. Amazing company for providing excellent workmanship and customer service in the front office. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for mini-split systems. Look no further , Temp Air Systems is very good with mini- splits ac systems. Call them up and get a quote. You won't be disappointed. Happy journey!

We were able to negotiate with the seller because of this discovery, and Matt's work helped us secure enough in credits to get a new electric smart HVAC system, ecobee. During install, they discovered a vent was missing and promptly added it. Their crew was courteous and helpful, and took great care to leave my property in excellent condition. They went above and beyond in their work and their customer service. They were so great that my neighbor across the street hired them immediately after. Furthermore, I just had my HERS test, and it passed with flying colors, so the work was done exceptionally well. The inspector told me this system increases my property value - something I am relieved to hear, after so many other unexpected new home expenses! I actually look forward to having them help me maintain my exceptional new system throughout its (what I presume to be) long life. I highly recommend them!

First of all, I have never, ever written a negative review. Please look at my profile for proof…read more I had a really regrettable experience with Air Elite Heating and Cooling--would strong suggest not using this business for any kind of product install. I paid $11,000 for a job that really is substandard. 1. Danny came to do my quote and was very nice, but when actual installation came he was not onsite. A very young and inexperienced guy installed the units basically in the middle of the wall. I was not consulted asked before the guy tore huge fist size holes in my wall that are in no way standard placement for mini splits. The guy moved the unit, I had to pay for the walls to be repaired and repainted! 2. The condenser was placed on the ground in the driveway. Again--I was never consulted about where it was to be installed. It should have been installed on the side of the house--it limits the function of my driveway forever. I cannot get my recycling/trash out if I am parked in my own driveway. 3. The drains that were placed on the outer wall of my house were installed so poorly that they constantly fall off. They were not adhered at all. When I put them back up, they are fitted so shoddily that they cannot be secured. Every time I pick them up and try to reassemble them--I can see how jankily they were put together. One of them is now cracked and water is spewing all over my wall. For nearly $11K spent, I feel really taken advantage of and bad about the integrity of their work. I contacted them in advance of this review with all of these points--they never responded.
