This business is not accredited by the BBB, and after my recent experience, I believe that is reflective of their poor standards and practices. I brought in an $800 suit jacket for cleaning. When I received it back, it had a visible burn or rust-like stain on the fabric--something that was absolutely not present at drop-off. They sent it out for re-cleaning twice, and the stain remained both times. Not only was the issue unresolved, but the service I received throughout the process was highly unprofessional. I spoke with a young Asian employee, whom I believe is the daughter of the owner. She was dismissive, refused to offer any solution, and declined to provide any contact information for the owner--no phone number or email. When I pressed the matter, she suggested that the stain might have been there prior to drop-off, which contradicts their stated practice of inspecting garments for damage before accepting them. No such issue was documented at intake, clearly confirming the damage occurred under their care. This level of avoidance, lack of accountability, and evasive ownership raises serious red flags. Customers should be aware that this business is not BBB accredited, takes no ownership for damages caused, and fails to offer professional or respectful customer service. I am sharing this in hopes that others can make more informed decisions when choosing a dry cleaner. It seemed like the manager had already made up her mind that nothing further could be done, and there was no real effort to try to resolve the issue. At that point, I simply asked for my item back so I could take it somewhere that handles items with more care and attention to detail. It honestly made me question whether my comforter was mixed in with others during the process, especially since I take great care in maintaining it, including regularly steam disinfecting it at home. What was also frustrating was that instead of focusing on my concern, the manager began explaining how other customers' items can come in, as if I was expected to sympathize. My only concern was the condition of my item. Based on this experience, I would recommend keeping it simple here--stick to everyday dry cleaning. If you need dry cleaning done quickly, they are incredibly efficient and the turnaround time is fast. Unfortunately, the customer service is nonexistent. On my first visit, I walked up to the counter with my receipt in hand and the employee just stared at the screen without saying a word. No greeting, no "can I help you," nothing. After standing there awkwardly for a while, I finally asked if he needed my receipt. Only then did he ask for my phone number to look up my order. It was a pretty ridiculous interaction. Another downside is parking. The lot gets very busy and congested, especially during rush hour, which makes getting in and out more frustrating than it needs to be. Basically, if you're looking for fast dry cleaning and don't care about service, ZIPS gets the job done. Just avoid peak hours if at all possible.
