We went on a Friday and has great service, great food, and great drinks. Got the zipparitas in Watermelon, Chambord, Mango, and the Firecracker flavors. One of my favorite franchises for over 10 years now, I don't think I've ever left unhappy. My party of 5 was sat quickly on a Saturday night while a Cards game was going. Despite the football game, our server was excellent - she brought refills before we even thought to ask. Sports bars are always loud so I anticipated the hype and while I don't normally like sports bars, I will always visit Zipps for the pepper jack focaccia. The sweet jalapeño sauce is divine with the fries and drizzled on my entree. Speaking of fries, these are probably my most favorite type because there's a little crunch and the cruncher the better for me, they even air fried well the nest day. My partner got the peanut butter burger, which he let me try and it was so creamy and savory. The kiddo got the thousand island burger and he loved it, zipps has big burgers and he ate at least 3/4 of it! Anyway, all this to say I can't wait for my next visit because it's 11/10. read more

We come to this Zipps all the time after mountain point games. service and food is satisfactory for the most part. The experience this past time was horrible. Several of our orders were wrong, they didn't fix them and someone in the party never even got their food after multiple requests. That and the manager Leila handled the mistakes very poorly. She even called the police, claiming we were being hostile towards her even though our requests for service was peaceful and all we wanted was the right orders. Three police suvs came, they got the story from the server girl, then walked out never even saying a word to us! I have Grace and patience for new servers and managers but I'm not sure this new person should be managing their as I can see her mishandling customer engagements often. read more

Stopped in Zipps after a golf tournament and Yelp reviews weren't great but it was pretty busy inside so we took a seat in the bar at one of the booths and were greeted by a young lady named Kaitlyn within a few minutes. Kaitlyn was super friendly, quick to get us our drinks and tell us she would be back in a few minutes to get our order. I noticed she was the only server working and had several other customers that she was waiting on. However, she never rushed us and was very pleasant. We ordered the Zippsrita, and added Chambord. It was small, but delightful and delicious. We also got a side salad with blue cheese that was the perfect portion and an order of their golden wings that came out crisp and hot. Definitely recommend! In my opinion, Zipps has a good set up between the restaurant and the bar side in terms of seating and TVs a great place to go watch sports on the weekends. I also noticed they had several specials between Saturday and Sundays both for drinking and eating. Definitely worth a try and if you see Kaitlyn sit in her section, she was pretty great. read more

I honestly didn't take any pictures of the food. On a Friday night probably about 8 o'clock my Besty and I got some tattoos, and we decided to come to Zipp's. I have only ever been to the Scottsdale location. They were somewhat busy. I will say our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed. We both got their zippy margaritas, and we ordered a few different appetizers that we share. We should have just stuck in with the wings. My best friend got the Philly cheesesteak, which came in kind a look like a pita bread or some type of flatbread. I got the nachos and we both realized Zipp does not do good with cheese. With nachos I feel like you want the cheese to be melted but like creamy and my nachos I mean pretty much stuck to the paper and it was just a fun activity of just trying to get it off the paper the Philly I feel was much better tasting but again the cheese was just not this melted cheese when you took a bite. Like I mentioned earlier, the wings were the only thing I had no complaints. The atmosphere was pretty laid-back. I mean we kind of came when it was busy, but by the time we left it had calm down. I will say our waitress was very nice. We paid separately, but my friend said she would tip, which felt weird for me Normally when I go to restaurants I'll also leave a tip. read more

Brutally slow service. Lost the orders of some of our group. We ended up leaving after 90 minutes with no food. Place was 2/3 empty.

In a word.... Yikes. The place wasn't too busy when my friends and I walked in, and we were seated right away. That's where the good news stops. We waited for over an hour for our food to arrive and when it did, all three of our orders were wrong. Mine had to be sent back to the kitchen and my two friends' food were incomplete. We waited another 30 minutes for the rest of their food while the kitchen remade mine. It was still wrong when it came back out and instead of sending it back again, I gave up and didn't eat my dinner. We were also promised free dessert for the double, but that took another 30 minutes so we ended up leaving without dessert. Never in my life have I waited 30+ minutes after calling in an order for pickup and then when I pull up I see my food on the counter just hanging around for atleast 10 minutes but I tried to calm myself down I was thinking maybe that's not my meal surely after I payed my bill and told the multiple workers along with the bar I was here to pick up my order but nope just sitting there waiting literally me and the cook were making eye contact because I was just looking at my food right infront of him actually the dumbest experience in my life this place used to be decent now it's a shit show seems like no one knows what's going on wait times are insane and don't even get me started on the food I open up my meal I got 4 tenders 2 of them I wouldn't even call tenders but I think they probably just half the portions to quickly get it out which is crazy as I waiting over 30 minutes and as you would expect the food was cold I'm assuming the bald head guy was the manager shame on you for looking at my food and thinking "yes this if good to serve to the customer" this place just isnt what it once was . We absolutely love this Zipps. They always seat us right away in the bar, the waitress is so on it and has the best customer service. We ordered the usual, a blue cheese burger and peanut butter burger and split it in half. Both burgers were super fresh to where the juices where dripping out. The condiments on both burgers were just right. The peanut butter burger is the way to go. We added Swiss cheese and jalapeño jelly to it as well. (Tried to recreate this burger we had in Seattle.) The peanut butter burger will be our go to burger now. The fries and onion rings did not disappoint. Very crispy, yet soft on the inside. We also got a side of blue cheese. Ordered take-out. There were a number of things that irritated me. First, some guy insulted me as I sat at the end of the bar where take-out is picked up. The food took quite awhile, but they were extremely busy. I did see the food being put into the bag finally. But, it sat right there for almost 10 minutes. After saying something to the bartender, she went and got it when she had a minute (not her job, so yay for her). Got home and was disappointed again. My salad had no salad dressing (nor was it on the side). It consisted of nothing but lettuce and a ton of onions. Mind you, I ordered my burger with no onions, but... And they put the "salad" in the same container as my nice hot burger (which was good btw). My wife ordered a focaccia, but it did not come with any sauce (the main reason she ordered it). I love coming to this zipps, I always order pick up for my family and a very few times I've been asked to wait at the bar. I am 19 and have had no problem in the past having to sit in the 21+ section. Today (10/4/24) we were allowed to sit there and the server took our drinks and than asked if we were over 21. After saying no she made us move and gave a different server. I thought this was very rude and extra of her to do. Obviously she doesn't know us but she was out a lot of tip money that night, knowing the adults there weren't going to tip her that well anyways. We wanted to watch the gold medal basketball game featuring USA but they said due to a corporate mandate they had to show the bills preseason game, which nobody seemed to care about. They did offer to put it on a small tv for us with no sound but we wanted to enjoy ourselves a little more than that. I love Zipps in central Phoenix and thought this would be the same experience! It was horrible especially the food here. Nothing compared to the other locations. I ordered the Zipps wings which were not cooked all the way. My husband got the thousand island burger which had no flavor and the fries were not cooked all the way and loaded with grease still. The sodas tasted like dirty water as did the water I had. I gave one star because the waitress Skye was amazing and provided excellent service. We will not be returning here and will not recommend to others. My opinion is they get better cooks to match the caliber of excellence at other Zipps in the valley. We live in Ahwatukkee and I've been to Zipps on Warner through MANY MANY bartenders and wait staff. It's nearly like a training ground for servers . Everyone gotta learn and their food is normally good so that's fine. My wife and I usually sit at the bar . We know what we're having on the menu so pretty easy. It's only easy if the wait staff paid attention. We've been to this location probably 25 times , never for sporting events always for the food. Their burgers are great. Well today we decided to go for lunch. It was 12.45. 6 other customers in the whole place. Gave the bartender our order . Drinks came out all is good. As for the burgers fries and onion rings ‍!! Not so good. My fries were cold and my wife's onion rings seemed to be reheated and tough. I asked for another order of fries and forgive me if I like to eat them with my burger . Took so long to remake an order of fries when they did arrive I said no thanks . We would have had a second drink except why bother throwing money away ? I was upset cuz the bill was still $50.00.....and the satisfaction was zero. The bartender didn't care enough to call the manager over so I asked to see him. So rude !! With 6 people in the place if you can't deliver hot food with good service then you should probably look into a new profession . The manager said well if you're not satisfied then don't come back !! Took my wife to dinner on a Friday evening. The hostess sat my wife and I at a booth next to a large party of raucous women. They were literally screaming profanities and causing a disturbance to all of the patrons in the dining room. They were so loud that I couldn't even hear my wife speaking to me from across the booth. Not once in the hour or so that we were there did a manager come over and tell them to stop screaming because they were disrupting everyone's meal. She placed drinks infront of my 12 month old and I said hey can you pass them out on the other side of me so he won't spill them. She huffed. Our son was fussy so I flagged another lady and asked her to ask our waitress if she could ask our waitress if any food was up and if she could just bring that so I could placate my son.some of Our food had been in the window for over five mins bc I saw her grab it and bring it over including the babies food she rudely said "it just came up" I said no some of it had been sitting up there for over five mins I could see it from here. She retorted in an extremely rude voice yeah your food not your sons what are you going to do eat in front of him. I responded no, he's 1 he doesn't actually care if he gets his order he just wants food so yeah I could just give him some of mine. She huffed and stormed off. A minute later she came with the check plate and flung it at me (I'm in my first trimester and pregnant). She yelled I won't be your waitress anymore. I said ok I'd like to see the manager now and she said good! I'll go get him. I cried bc again newly pregnant and hormonal. He just gave the normal platitudes of I'll talk to her that's unacceptable. Nothing was done about our bill. But he cashed us out. Then we looked at our sons corn dogs the batter was still raw so he went back and took those off the bill. We went to this location a little before 9pm 12/02/2024 we were a party of 7. This service was the worst I ever experienced in my life. First there was one female that was serving every table there besides the bar. We understood she was backed up and waited patiently for her. She was polite and apologized for the delay. We then waited a long period of time for the food that was incorrect. We told the waitress and she got the manager so we could explain that the wing flavor was incorrect. The manger picked them up said "oh it's a blue toothpick so they did it right." We said "not it's your golden sauce, manger then said "well since you guys tried three I have to charge you for the basket." I then said, "What sense does that make this is not what we ordered we are just asking for the correct ones." She then said, " well I'm still charging you," I then said "we'll charge us for the three." She then put her nose to the wings which was disgusting. She then walked away with an attitude. We were all surprised because this was a manger treating us like crap. After that we continued to eat and still waiting for the remainder of the food and drinks. The waitress came back she continued to be courteous. After she left for about 10-15 mins we were now waiting for a veggie burger that never came. We then went up to where that manager, our waitress, and another worker was and asked, "we are waiting for our veggie burger," the manger said, "we served it," no we order two different burgers, one bacon and cheese the other veggie. Manger then blamed our waitress for not entering it on the ticket. No need to treat the waitress bad.We then explained "we have never been treated so shitty before and make sure to bring the boys basketball team to show this zipps support." The manager then said "I can give you some zip bucks to eliminate and have the burger made". She then just walked away and the other female (red hair) was on the phone calling the general manager and I asked "may I get his name?" She said "no." At this point continued to record the entire conversation. Red head girl then said I'm calling the cops. I said "please do what is necessary for you, I am the customer trying to let you know we are disappointed." Came back to the table and the manager came with our bill which in the beginning of our order the waitress stated she will split it. The manager stood there and said "here's the bill and stood there waiting. She stood by our table rolling her eyes waiting for us to leave and pay. We asked her to back up. So she left she never came back and then 5-6 cops show up and speak to her. We can't hear what she is saying and she's just pointing and explaining I don't know what. The cops never approached us or heard our side. Which was fine we understood that we didn't do anything wrong and there was nothing the cops could do because we were the ones being civilized. She then came back took our cash and crumbled our receipt and said"I'm not giving you z bucks either you're being hostile." We were all confused and asked her why. After on recording she said she was. She continued to roll her eyes I asked "can I get your general manager name she said John Thomas." At this point no one said a word we looked at her walk away talking under her breath. The cops never approached us or said anything to us even when leaving. This night was by far the worst Zipps I have encountered and worst treatment I received as a consumer. I am beyond disappointed by their service level. There was no need to treat anyone with disrespect. If she was meant to be a manger she would have been ethical and treated consumers and staff to a higher standard. I hate that Zipps had to be the restaurant that failed me. I hope these actions never happen to anyone and never feel this way. This was not how anyone wanted their night to be. read more

Let me try to simplify this for you - The issue is that you've made up some arbitrary rule to force people to buy food- you want to cut me off?
