If you are in the mood for Mediterranean food, then stop what you are doing and go to Zingo's! Wow! By far the best Mediterranean food in Toledo that I've had so far. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and did a fantastic job overall. We my wife and I both ordered the original gyro (zingo style - so it becomes a shawarma) which comes with a lamb meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, and their sauce. The gyros were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Every bite was delicious and we were stuffed after half. We also ordered a small red lentil soup which was absolutely delicious and is kid approved with how much my daughter enjoyed it! The kids meals have three options and we opted for the zingo sandwich, which was a smaller gyro but came with chickpeas, meat, lettuce, cucumber, and onion with a side of rice pilaf. Our daughter loved her food, which made us even happier! Overall, our experience here was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great experience with a superb meal! read more

Super tasty food! We ordered take out and our food was ready right on time and our order was prepared perfectly. The service was also great! They were friendly and even offered us some waters while we waited. We got an original gyro, chicken gyro, meat grape leaves, and hummus. Definitely recommend getting your sandwiches "zingo style". The hummus was very good! It was more fluffy than normal takeout hummus and super tasty! Plus the chips they serve with the hummus were unique and very good. Yum!! Not too far off of I-80 and 1,000x better than fast food. We ordered carry out and ended up eating outdoors at a table at the restaurant. Nicely shaded. Everything was spaced out for social distancing and tables were promptly cleaned before use for next patron. The food was excellent and priced appropriately. I had a salad with grill chicken, everything was super fresh and tasty. My son had a gyro, also great. We had a side of hummus and veggies. Had a great meal here. "Sampler side" was a great way to start. Falafel and gyro were both great. (Gotta love a gyro with a pita that is actually large enough for the ingredients!) The pita chips were just the right kind of crisp, not the "hard enough to break your jaw" you get in a lot of bagged pita chips. The girlfriend got a smoothie she really liked and we finished with baklava, which is one of the best restaurant baklavas I've ever had. I went back for two more pieces. The menu here is more modern/Greek fusion and not exactly traditional Mediterranean. While staying in Perrysburg, we decided to try this place for something different than your typical American fare. It had great reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor. We walked past it around lunch time and it was pretty busy. We also checked out the menu and thought it looked good. So we ordered take out - 2 gyros on pita. They were huge and very good. The taziki sauce was really thick and had good flavor. It was served on the side. The gyros were served with a pickle spear and seasoned garlicky pita chips. Both were good accompaniments. To order or pick up, you wait at a counter and place your order. They then have open seating. They had a tons of desserts on display and a pretty extensive menu. Now the not so good: I had the gyro Zingos style. If you don't know, zingo style is a thin pita that is grilled. The texture of the grilled pita was strange, kind of like well seasoned parchment paper. I wish I had gone with a traditional pita. The gyro meat was just ok. "Zingo" style means opting for their special kind of wrap that I just can't get enough of. It's thin, so you don't feel like the sandwich is overtaken by bland carbs. It's chewy, which is a textural quality you won't get to indulge in with regular wraps. And it's sauced well, so you never get a "dry" bite. I love their sauce so much that I always ask for some on the side. Aside from this godsend of a sandwich, they make incredible smoothies. Would get a Zingos smoothie over the reputable big chains (Jamba, Smoothie King, Tropical) any day. There's just something about these smoothies that taste better. Found this wonderful spot on Yelp after coming to Perrysburg for training for my job. Wanted something local to experience before heading back to Indianapolis. I picked the Chicken Tawook on the recommendation of the cashier. I loved that they served craft drinks, fresh juices and smoothies. I chose the Sparkling Agave Ginderade...DELICIOUS. So much so that I ordered another to go when I left. The bubbles are fun and the agave doesn't overpower the ginger; just like I like it, a bit tart. I have a bit of a high standard for Mediterranean chicken because of a restaurant in Detroit that makes the worlds best shawarmas, but Zingos met that standard! The Chicken Tawook was so majorly delicious! The meat chunks were seasoned perfectly and all the other ingredients: pickles, lettuce and the greek yogurt sauce, made the entire thing POP. I also had a carrot cake cupcake, which was moist and delicious. I loved every bite of my food and I'm even considering a "just 'cause" road trip to Perrysburg, just to go back to Zingos. read more

Already been my third time at Zingo's and it never disappoints! Some friends were in town to visit and being obsessed with Zingo's since my first visit to the area, I took them here after a long day. I wouldn't call Zingo's authentic Mediterranean food but I'd say it's on par with Zoe's Kitchen which I'm a big fan of. There always seems to be a line here but it goes by quickly and the employees are all super friendly. My go to's thus far are the junk salad and chicken gyro. The junk salad has everything you could possibly need, and the falafel meet is surprisingly good. The chicken gyro is a GIANT portion for the price - chicken is a bit dry but it's ok because the sauce makes up for it. I also love their pita chips but they barely give you any if you order the sandwich and side combo. All in all, I think it's a solid hit in Perrysburg, and I'll be back especially since I didn't see the free dessert with a $20 purchase until just now! read more
